RiskyBiskitz huh what's that noise huh what's that noise huh what's that noise huh what's that noise huh what's that noise huh what's that noise huh what's that noise huh what's that noise
I remember seeing my oldest brother play this like crazy. As a kid I used to play the training mood. Always tried beating my time . Hell of a game, and such nostalgia
In this video: Watch closely as Solid Snake traverses through VR exercises with insane accuracy. Oh, and he also becomes the first video game character to quick-scope (with a sniper rifle and a *rocket launcher*, no less).
I really hope they bring back the VR missions, or at least something like them because it was fun to play these short missions that were designed around 1 or 2 major features of the game.
I always thought this game was an awesome concept for the series, and enjoyed the extra missions offered in MGS2; Substance. I really wish they would have continued this trend of exploring the infinite possibilities for all the different facets and features in the the game. I feel like they tried to do that in Ground Zeroes, but missed the opportunity to show off all the features in specific situations like these.
Some of the practice levels do indeed have different layouts, etc., but when they're identical I tended to use different methods for practice mode to simply add more variety to the run.
This isnt the only VR stuff in Metal gear, the gameboy Color game has VR missions, Metal gear solid 2 substance and metal gear solid 2 HD also have them, and finally Metal gear rising reveangence has VR missions!
I'm sorry for the long wait on the fix up encode. The video had to take time to render out and took longer to actually upload it. Thank you for your patience.
im just wondering how there were similarities to the gameplay in the first ape escape before they featured the mini game in the third mgs. any ideas? or stealth games were just a craze back then. but the way snake jumps out and yells is just like the english version of ape escape's protagonist Spike at the end of every mission. and that level teleportation characteristics too.
I see. Interesting that Konami went out of their way to program multiple set sequences, I always chalked it up to slack whenever I played that mission (casually of course). Thanks for the explanation either way :P.
well, ground zeroes is kinda like VR missions but executed differently, and before ground zeroes, portable ops plus was another one. they are kinda nice short games, but also quite fun in their own way
Impressive enough but I'd like to see it done on PS1 version where you can't simply run and shoot and the AI and cone vision are just slightly different enough to where you can't slip past them like silk.
Some of the practice levels you did differently compared to the timed version of the same levels. For what reason? Did the different methods end up being precisely/exactly the same time?
Can anybody explain why he keeps restarting the last Ninja mission? I'm guessing RNG is playing a part but how can he tell when/where Snake is going to appear?
Impressi... Impressi... Impressi... Impressi... Impressi... this shit will haunt my dreams.
Excellent snake, excellent snake, excellent snake, excellent snake, excellent snake.

1:06:05 cleanest quickscope I've ever seen.

Well we have someone crossing universes to get replied with And you don't do anything on the Closed Doors murder from Edward Fuller
Edward Fuller Who are you?
@Cyber Stein r/woosh
Tool-Assisted Espionage Action
Wow this speedrun is impressi
I never would've thought that sneaking by someone, so often, involves walking mostly in front of, but slightly to left or right of them.
When I was a kid, I didn't have patience to complete everything in the best time and I felt very sad about that, theenglishman thanks for avenging me!
*Meryl dies*
Impressive, Snake!
That wasn't my MGS run, I just did the commentary, but thanks :)
This is how i always imagined Solid Snake in VR missons. Awesome job!! =)
The guy who goes next: "Come on! He's got a time of zero! How do I beat a time of zero!"
Snake: "YEAH!"
Jesus Christ, the lack of the reverb makes the music feel empty.
that was a teaser for metal gear ray at the end..nice
Hi
Bro... too bad I suck at VR missions
I love how some of the music in the VR missions were newer versions of the older music in MG1 and MG2 :)
I really hope they bring back the VR missions, or at least something like them because it was fun to play these short missions that were designed around 1 or 2 major features of the game.
"0.00.00" Excellent, Snake.
The entire time I am watching this, my focus is on the lack of anti-aliasing. Bless the era.

1:6:50 WTF !?
"TAS" = "Tool Assisted Speedrun"
Its just Impressi-
Snake just commit aimbotting.
"Coronel, what the hell kind of training is this? when am i supposed to fight 20 story tall genome soldiers?"
Damn, I beat this before when I was a kid and I didn't realize it shows you metal gear ray at the end
NIKITA! The ultimate weapon for getting Impress- and Exelen-
That's a SOCOM handgun?! The way the TASer fires that thing, I'm surprised the barrel hasn't melted off!
Er, the one at AGDQ wasn't my run.
“[obsoleted]” is so powerful
Good stuff. I finished the first practice set and that's all I had patience for.
Was impressi--- with just the sneaking times but damn accuracy with the guns is just excell----
it says tool assisted, so he might be using an aimbot.
He was using aimbot.
Good work Raiden.
The birth of quickscoping was discovered here xD
Great TAS. It gives some ideas to how better beat some missions.
YEAH!-Solid Snake.
I remember playing this, it is very old
I understand it's a TAS and all, but what the actual fuck at 1:50
exactly what I thought!
as a kid this was my all time favorite game franchise this is way more the "IMPRESSIVE"
do you know that feeling when you get 10000+ kill streak and then it gets ruined by superior class? yeah, this happened to Solid Snake
Solid Snake is Badass
Oh man the memories 🤗
If soldiers and policemen were as quick and all-knowing as snake there would probably not be war or armed robberies. xD
The ninja section was really damn cool
Some of the practice levels do indeed have different layouts, etc., but when they're identical I tended to use different methods for practice mode to simply add more variety to the run.
Lol it's a shame that he cut those parts. The voice of campbell is epic.
1:42:12 I never understood that level, and I was like wtf is he doing the whole time... until 4m50s
Just waiting, it's a murder investigation but the guy just fell asleep on some ketchup x) ... essentially just waiting is how you beat it
Impressive! That is Ray at the end?! Imissed that?!!
Love the whole thing.
1:23:41 my fav
This isnt the only VR stuff in Metal gear, the gameboy Color game has VR missions, Metal gear solid 2 substance and metal gear solid 2 HD also have them, and finally Metal gear rising reveangence has VR missions!
You say its a TAS, I say Snake just got recorded being Snake
I'm sorry for the long wait on the fix up encode. The video had to take time to render out and took longer to actually upload it.
Thank you for your patience.
Gray Fox: ''Bats!''
1:27:38 What, is he going through a sugar rush? Jeez!
wtf 1:36:50
John wick mode!
Can't believe the end was just a shit pic of Ray, would have been pissed if I actually put the time in to beat all this back in the day.
1:27:55 Don't bring granades to a CQC fight.
8:58 What'a heck?
It'd be cool to have this game remade in actual VR now that the tech is up to snuff.
Excellent Snake. 👏👍✌👮
1:20:32 i didnt no skill like this was possible.
The RNG for Snake's position is not actually random. The optimal position only appears after a certain number of restarts.
Could my OC, Fuzzle the Sabreweasel do this VR training?
im just wondering how there were similarities to the gameplay in the first ape escape before they featured the mini game in the third mgs. any ideas? or stealth games were just a craze back then.
but the way snake jumps out and yells is just like the english version of ape escape's protagonist Spike at the end of every mission. and that level teleportation characteristics too.
impressi-
Lol snake is an mlg quickscoping master.
With this, go the options and take lots photos to Mei ling, bonus, avaliable the ninja mode too
1:32:00 the music in background is the same at the game Guardian´s Crusade
I see. Interesting that Konami went out of their way to program multiple set sequences, I always chalked it up to slack whenever I played that mission (casually of course). Thanks for the explanation either way :P.
روعة ... ذكرتني بايام زمان ايام البلايستايشن و الدودة
Now this is the real super soldier
we got to see ray 2 before the release of mgs2
well, ground zeroes is kinda like VR missions but executed differently, and before ground zeroes, portable ops plus was another one. they are kinda nice short games, but also quite fun in their own way
Impressive Snake
Had no clue there were this many of them
Impressive enough but I'd like to see it done on PS1 version where you can't simply run and shoot and the AI and cone vision are just slightly different enough to where you can't slip past them like silk.
You actually can run and shoot in the PS1 version, you have to hold down another button to do it.
Also this is the PS1 version you are seeing, its just that TAS is better than any human.
To run and shoot on ps1 u have to aim gun and then hold fown x. For aslong as u hold x itl wrk
Somebody didn't read their manual.
Hooray for the desync fix! =D
snake.... you don't use grenades to put people in choke holds....you throw them.
It quiets your footsteps
2:04:34 Impressi Ninja Time
Some of the practice levels you did differently compared to the timed version of the same levels. For what reason? Did the different methods end up being precisely/exactly the same time?
Weapon Mode : PSG1 -- [AimBot Enabled]
CS:GO Players Liked This Element.
So this is how snake is in cannon
A weapon to surpass metal gear
Боже, когда он начал использовать снайперскую винтовку, мне стало горячо в промежности
had this game and never knew this mode...
Pretty much what it looked to me watching my older brother play when I was wee lad
this is gold!!!
"the beast" :D
Respect
I've never heard the 'alert' noise so many times in my life.... :O xD
Can anybody explain why he keeps restarting the last Ninja mission? I'm guessing RNG is playing a part but how can he tell when/where Snake is going to appear?
Lack of reverb is so weird in this. XD
it triggers my anxiety seeing someone run through a game I remembered as being difficult
TRIGGERED
WTF you can play gray fox at the end this is awesome
13:25 that awkward moment you clip through the floor. XD
This game isn't released on the PlayStation VR yet.....
do you have a run like this of Ghos Babel VR training?
always wanted to play as gray fox on mgs 1
John wick before John wick was a concept
Huh, so THAT's how you sneak with a SOCOM.
Я помню как долго проходил эти миссии, но чувак реально крут.
METAL GEAR INTEGRAL 🤩
Awesome! 😲
