For me the changes are completely positive, since I live in Middle East and we have literally 0 options to earn Hyatt Points, but plenty of options to earn/ buy Hilton ones

Anyone else noticing Sherwin's mic sounding odd lately? Like an Echo/Reverb?

It might be the editing software, my voice has sounded like that before where CapCut “enhances” it, and it does, but on some settings it makes you sound like a robot a little.

I read that there was an interview with a Hyatt exec and they said that the reason they made the Mr Mrs Smith dynamic pricing so that they can keep the award charts for their regular hotels. Could just be PR fluff but it sounds like they are trying to balance the loss from Hyatt Hotels by making some back through Mr&Mrs smith.

SLH has been amazing with Hilton so far. I just used it in China. Hotel room would have costed around 700-800 dollars but I used the Hilton Aspire Reward room so it was pretty worth it I guess

Let’s gooo! I know Mr. & Mrs. Smith get a bad rep for its CPP, but I really like some of the unique properties I have access to now with Hyatt points!
I guess other 3rd party platforms can work for some too but I like going through Hyatt haha.
I’ll try to get to one of them fairly soon to see how it goes.
Great stuff Shaun and Sherwin as always!

@@AnthonyVenture I like I try out new hotels so I don't mind paying cash anyways for these different properties and saving points for higher CPP Hyatt properties. HOWEVER, I would like to see MMS properties give late check out and free breakfast for globalist/GOH bookings. Suite upgrades can be whatever for my basic travel needs.

I looked at Calala Island out of curiosity and it's literally sold out in perpetuity. I'm not sure the viability of mentioning that particular property when it's impossible to get in XD

The SLH properties were consistently >2CPP for me in Europe and the free night certs aren't as easy to acquire but may be worth it for a property like Grand Hotel Victoria in Como which goes for €1600. I'll have to look into buying Hilton points and see how much value comes out of that. Also don't sleep on free breakfast especially if you're staying in a property that's remote because it's your only breakfast option and can be like $50-70 every morning 😂
