yes thanks - OK so this is an explanation of the first set of human teeth - It would be nice to see another youtube video explaining the process of how the final set of human teeth are formed and develop starting from the developmental stage you ended this video on.
It is during the CAP stage that the enamel organ differentiates into the different strata, and mostly NOT during the BELL stage as can be inferred from the video... At the bell stage, the enamel organ is already greatly differentiated, so it has to have started in the previous stage, the cap stage... :)
I've heard "Malassez" pronounced in a million different ways; it was great to hear your take on it haha. Really though, thank you for the succinct rehash.
do you think in age 7 years enamel can still grow on the tooth.? my daughter enamel on the #1 tooth did not grow properly looks like there is lack of enamel on the tooth. Do you think in age of 7 ameloblast still produce enamel or they are not longer exist in the tooth?.
thanks this was helpful but you didn't mention the enzymes involved in this processes, cos i only see biology i don't see the biochemistry of the tooth formation

thank you so much, does anyone know what that red dot on the oral epithelium is (right at the beginning of the video)
? ?
yongwon kim
It's a part of the epithelium you can call it dental lamina. This is the initiation of the bud.
Also, the stratum intermedium should be UNDERNEATH the stellate reticulum, NOT on top of it...
Amazing!
This was so satisfyingly educative
