The community in general has gotten incredibly toxic in their own little pockets and I completely understand where you're coming from with the points your making. I usually take month long breaks, sometimes breaks for several months where I don't upload because the game simply isn't replayable or too enjoyable to make content on sometimes, it becomes something you have to really want to play to enjoy. I wish you the best of luck in your new channel, you really do deserve to be successful. If you need any help or advice with running communities or game servers I'd gladly do what I can, the first steps always involves taking your time and finding the right people.

I don't know if I am one of the people you are referring to, but I didn't see much toxicity (other than maybe Ziviii and the stuff he does sometimes, and Void now that I think about it) and I still would love a small bit of information regarding the lack of comments on the server as a whole, particularly around the end of it. I understand stepping away to avoid drama and toxicity, but I saw you as a friend, and I would have loved at least a little closure regarding everything. Yeah I feel you on the staffing part. You cannot juggle both staffing and a regular life reasonably plus that stress of constantly worrying that you do something wrong unintentionally

After hitting 1k, I've quit as well. Most of my time with BB was good, but it crashed and burned a few days after I quit. (Wii Pro Controller, for those who know.) I miss the goldern era dearly, but I am glad you're not dead. Burnout is one hell of a motivation killer. Sad to see you leave as well, but it's understandable.
I feel that completely, scp has become one of those games that you will forever love but rarely play. It has it limits and I cant imagine how hard it is for content creators to relax and enjoy the game

I can 100% understand the repetitiveness. I was secretly wanting SL for over a yeah and a half, and then I finally talked to my parents about it, and they downloaded it on my dad's PC on my 16th birthday. I was overjoyed at first. I played the game for maybe 4 months then dumped it. It was already boring(part of it was because I was a wiki nerd and knew about 80% of the shit in the game before even playing it)and my setup was starting to refuse to run SL smoothly. Honestly i think SCP community getting worse in the past couple year, so I'm not surprised this happened but still sad nonetheless, it's okay for competitive channel but this channel focus on funny moments and occasionally "gaming" moment. For competitive channel i like kadava, for funny moment i like gnomememer and xiqx, for playthrough i like nepheron but her channel become monotone because SCP CB is literally old game and when SCP unity announced i was happy because that mean new gameplay but they cancelled it, after that SCP community went downhill real fast.
