    Rolling tongue: 75% of people can do this
    Touching your nose with your tongue (also known as the gorlin sign): 10%
    Wiggling ears: 15%
    Hyper mobility (stuff like the elbows and touching your thumb to your wrist): 10-25%

    i can wiggle my ears too!! apparently it's what remains of a muscle that other mammals use to swivel their ears around (think deer, horses etc). we humans no longer have a survival related use for it so we've p much evolved out of it, although some people like you and i have vestigial muscle that allows us to wiggle 'em like a bunch of weird elf dudes.

      @emmanicolaou2044 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@RummanNaser it's possible, it basically is the more updated term for "double jointed?" At gheast that's what my PT said. I'd say contact your doctor or a physical therapist, especially if you are getting pain it may be linked, apparently there are some long term effects that can be results😟

      You sure because from what i remember from anatomy that rotation that appears to happen in the elbow when you fixate your hand/wrist is the rotation that usually happens in the wrist and i'm pretty sure everyone can do that...but if you just mean overextending the joint that's just "normal" hypermobility.

    I'm also hyper-mobile but to a bit of a higher degree than you, I also usually use it for party tricks to the disgust of onlookers as I contort and twist my body. As fun as it is though I get really bad joint pain especially in my shoulders, knees and hips. It's also lead to my wrists and ankles being VERY flimsy and weak.I can also do the tongue thing and this thing where I can dislocate my thumbs...Yay

I can do many eye things like shake them or move one eye and keep the other one straight forward and I can make my tongue into a flower but I can’t wiggle my ears or touch my nose with my tongue. I also have wierd long spaghetti legs and can put both behind my head at the same time.
    My arms hyperextend and I can make my shoulder blades stick out to look like little wings. AND I can put both my arms around the back of my head and touch my face. Apparently it looks like my shoulder fell off but it didn’t I am just a wierd noodle thing

      Yep. It's a genetic residue that some people failed to get rid of. There are exceptions, of course. Exhibit A: PJ.

    I used to stop in at a privately-owned shop to buy candy once every week. The owner of the shop would wiggle his ears at me and my brother to entertain us. It was a great business tactic. It kept us returning to his store rather than going to any other. Oddly enough, his grandson was one of my students last year. That's what we call full circle.
