Ren and Stimpy seems like they'd be hard to draw since the Animators were told to never have two frames that are the same, so they're always moving in ridiculous, often unsettling ways.
Yeps! Granted the show was still disturbing enough even without that, it got itself pulled off of Nickelodeon and put on Spike TV, a channel for adults. :D That seems pretty rare for a kid's cartoon.

Yeah, but even so Invader Zim wasn't nearly as bad as some of the older shows, like Ren and Stimpy, Cat Dog, Pinky and The Brain, and Courage the Cowardly Dog. Invader Zim had it's dark moments, like the episode where Zim decided to harvest all the other student's organs... But the other ones were like that every single episode, if not worse. But you're completely right. I love Zim, and Ren and Stimpy and Courage the Cowardly Dog always scared the crap out of me.
TheRadiantDehd I don't remember pinky and the brain being that dark, there's so much goofiness. Zim was fairly grotesque, even when it wasn't dark he had a zit so big he dressed it up as a person right? And didn't put that one kid's brain into a squirrel or something? I think I blocked it out

Two things: 1) first I think it IS possible to wire your brain directly to the TV, I've been reading up on it. 2) I blew my speakers out (watching JackSepticeye) and so watched this with headphones. My daughter, who couldn't hear you, thought your art was spot-on. Very accurate.

I like the drawing from memory videos. You should do one where you draw celebrities or random characters (played by real people) requested by us and see how you do with actual humans instead of your usual cartoony style. It might be more difficult
I actually met Rob Paulson at a con ( Pinkey) and it was one of the best experiences of my life so far! He said to my sister "Helloooo Nurse!" and he sang the countries song during a panel. And he kept saying "narf! " over and over again. It was amazing.
It seems to me like all artists, including myself, always think their work is horrible while anyone else looks at it and wishes they could draw half as good. I'm just going to say, for all you artsy types out there: it looks amazing.

I loved Tales from the Cryptkeeper and Mona the Vampire growing up- hands down two of my favourite cartoons. My younger brother hated them, though- thought they were 'too scary'.
the only reason i would be able to kind of draw arthur accurately is because at the end of every episode the kids would say "now a word from marc brown" and marc brown would show how how to draw him
