Mamizou;s a tricky spacing character. She has amazing range in her attacks and specials (essentially having the same range some characters have for projectiles) but they also have major blind spots close to her that opponents can avoid attacks in. Playing as Mamizou you need to focus on using just the right attack and keeping opponents where you want them as you attack either by using different reaching attacks or using a special to call in a tanuki slave from off screen somewhere.
Mokou by comparison is a very direct, speedy and strong brawler. She's got fairly poor projectiles but she can book it and just wail on enemies quickly pulling off powerful attacks with some of them having quite significant range as well. For the most part however a lot of her attacks have extremely short range so you do have to get really up close and personal when attacking.

There is more genius than meet the eyes in their plan: They win, using the Spell Card system itself on it head. As long as they follow the rule, the opponent themselves is also forced to follow the rule themselves, and can’t cheat their way out of this nor killing them. If the opponent used Perfect Possession, it would be a repeat like before, and even if they aren’t using them, the sisters would still be able to used that spell card of their to Perfect Possessed anyone else, and force the opponent to lose anyway. Even Yukari is stumped, because the plan is so simple and involves something that she can’t outright break. In a “fair” fight, these two would always win.

It's more like she learns how to play their own game against them. Once she figures out the different rules for Perfect Possession, the plan comes together well - she just doesn't have those rules figured out for a while.
I am slightly dissapointed at the Yukari/Mamizou meetup there. I expected them to be way more sly at each other.
Oof. There was... a _lot_ of not using Mokou's gimmick in there. Or rather, getting screwed because of it. Gotta be wary of that green-bar-burn usage, to know when to use the refresh move, the pillar of fire one. Otherwise you end up dying to a thousand little pokes doing a ton of unexpected damage.
As for the duo itself, I still love how the story isn't exactly wrong when it says stuff like the Marisa-Koishi being an awful teamup, or how the Mamizou-Mokou setup is actually rather powerful. Those teams actually do somewhat show in gameplay that kind of situation, and that's just wonderful.
Dont think i’ve mentioned this yet, but as much as i love Yukari’s second theme her story mode theme is pretty fucking good as well.

Reisen getting the short end of the stick as always. Why did you let Mokou of all people into Eiren's clinic in the first place? Seeing as she and Kaguya don't get along too put it mildly
Next week, Kokoro's parents finally decide to go on a date after their divorce.
To be fair it's not like there's much in there that can stop a Mokou from storming in.

Ichirin as the enemy slave is a bitch. First time around I almost always ate a punch or two. Still, I really like Mamizou/Mokou. They compliment each other nicely, none of them are really *bad* or gimmicky. Miko/Byakuren is a fun duo, although I am inclined to projectile spam as Miko thanks to... memories of Byakuren from HM and the atrocious projectiles of Buddhism

Now this is an interesting pairing ‘cause they both were introduced in the series as Extra Bosses, just like Yukari which makes the idea of them fighting her just as interesting.

On a side note, another entry for the year of fangame. Abyss Soul Lotus demo by the team behind Shining Shooting Star. Looks good but in my opinion harder than Lenen even at normal. What are your thought?
I'm hesitant to call it harder than Len'en (especially considering lately Len'en's been made easier than initial). But even still it reminds me more of a somewhat tougher PCB/IN. Things may come at you hard and fast but you're given other options outside the norm for dealing with them. It looks fun, I'm keeping my eye on it and looking forward to it.

Not quite car keys, but the keys for her motorcycle. As it seems it needs the keys to start it, instead of a lever starter.

The subtitle-style translation and Title Card says Jyoon, but you and the traditional-style translation says Joon...
Joon. Early on it was translated as Jyoon, but it's since been fixed
