Reisen's an odd one at first, but ultimately she's a sort of ranged rush-down fighter. Her melee attacks generally don't pack too much of a punch however some choice ones double as a sort of “close range, ranged attack”. Reisen makes the most out of keeping her opponents on their toes with many different forms of projectiles covering a lot of range, however she also has a few aspects of her that makes her a bit bewildering to follow. Her dash allows her to go through opponents, one of her moves is a teleport and one of her specials shoots at the opponent but also jets her back at the same time. She's really good at quickly getting in, shooting someone and getting out.
Doremy however is a bizarre character through and through. Essentially she's one of those characters that's just really tough to get a read on and what she's about to do considering she can quickly pull out just about anything in the book. The thing about Doremy however is that she has many specific moves for just about any occasion, the matter is making sure you use the right one. Doremy's attacks are strong, but the reason she ends up being so unpredictable is because her attacks have her using her dream bubbles to move and launch herself all over the place to attack. As such her very attacks leave her open for counterattack and getting punched out of the sky if your opponent sees them coming.

Reisen's brutal honesty is hilarious to watch - seeing it translated proper after all this time is even better with a better translation.
I love how this basically boils down to Reisen being a little puppy who takes a dump on everyone's lawns and Doremy playing the role of the apologetic owner.
Reisen is like two age ratings away from telling everyone to shut the fuck up and it's amazing.
Being Reisen is suffering.
She is the disgruntled, teenaged customer-service worker of Gensokyo.
The poor rabbit deserves none of that, I tell you.
If Reisen's this stressed, I wonder what Dream Sakuya would be like.
I mean while Reisen gets unfair treatment, Sakuya doesn't gets a lot of crap thrown at her. Plus her time-stopping abilities gives her a lot of Break Time as well.

I can see it now, Doremy having leashes on each of the Dream World cast before they are let loose in each of the story fights.
Not entirely wrong really. I remember laughing when reading the latest chapter of CiLA where Doremy tells Reimu that "just because I'm the ruler of dreams doesn't mean I'm all powerful in there. I'm more of a zookeeper of the dream world."

So, Dream selves are like Persona. And in this chapter we, effectively, played as one of the minor villains.
You could say that they are there shadow selves
My favorite thing about Doremy outside of her smug grins is the fact that she actually trademarked "Sweet" to use on her line of pillows and they are a highly successful item in the human village.
As for this pair, Dream Reisen being sincere is funny, even more so because she shocked both Miko and Byakuren. And btw, screw Byakuren/Ichirin, I hated that pair when I was doing story more, Unzan fisted me a lot -.- I'm a bit sad you didn't use Doremy at any point though. Will probably use her on Sumireko's route?

Yeaaaah, problem is I really friggin' hate playing as Doremy... like, holy hell is she tough to control.

And I don't mean the pillows she's selling
MegamanOmega she’s pretty hard to control but once you get the hang of her, she can be very powerful. Her forward special can easily knock back opponents. And she can vacuum them back too. And the bubbles on standby get vacuumed as well, causing them to damage your opponent too.
To be fair, for the computer opponents Doremy doesn't do jack shit as a slave, so Omega's still being consistent.
One thing I like about Reisen's last words is that the Kunekunes are directly coming off of her, which makes the attack creepier.

So Reisen is "well-versed in the dream world?" I guess that answers a question I had about this story: "If Reimu knows Doremy and Reisen knows Doremy, then who's path was canon in LoLK?"
As for the fourth wall break, the subtitles say something pretty similar, so I'm fairly sure that's intentional, which makes it funnier.
I mean, it's technically correct without the fourth wall break, as Byakuren was sealed away and what not and technically became relevant to Gensokyo _after_ Reisen. That's why I was unsure of if the original Japanese intentionally broke the fourth wall or not.
It's been stated before in other works that the canon route for LoLK is a Reimu-Legacy-Perfect run. However that doesn't change the fact of what Reisen said she knew about the Dream World in her run of LoLK. Keep in mind the moon bunnies regularly used the dream world as a shortcut from point A to B and she knew ahead of time how dangerous someone like Doremy was while in there.
I'm very sorry I took so long to respond, I've been a bit busy. I went back and watched the dialogue from Reisen's LoLK storyline. The reason I was/am confused is that Reisen and Doremy do not display any hints of being acquainted at all. Reisen is aware of Doremy's _species_ in LoLK, but in her ending here she knows her by _name._ Did they end up meeting in one of the mangas or something?

Why are there 2 English subtiltes in the game ?
Because he needed to use two patches in order for the game to work in english. One is more accurate, but I don't remember which one.
The subtitles on the bottom are the english patch the game comes with (but also don't translate the entire game and are somewhat inaccurate). The word bubbles however are the fan patch that's been updates and is more accurate and translates what the first patch missed, but is hard to read in the bubbles. So I have both going at once.
I really hate her design in this game. It loses basically everything cool about his first design with the blazer.
