Jimin (orange microphone) is a contratenor. Jungkook (purple microphone) is a first tenor Jin (pink or sometimes white microphone) is a second tenor, but he can get just as high as Jimin or Jungkook but also hit lower notes like he does in their song Dionysus. V (green microphone) is a baritone, but has a solid falsetto which allows him to also sing tenor in many of their songs. He tends to use the baritone a lot more in his solo songs. J-Hope (red microphone) is a rapper but also considered a Sub-vocalist as they tend to use his baritone for harmonies in a lot of songs. Suga (black microphone) and RM (Blue Microphone) both mostly rap, but do sing baritone in a few songs. Suga sometimes likes to sing to harmonize with his own raps, putting it farther back in the mix so it’s more subtle and enhances, rather than distracts from his rapping. (Since he produces most of his own songs) All 7 members write songs for the group, and Suga, RM, J-Hope, and sometimes Jungkook produce them. Although I should note that their three all English songs were written by outside song writers.
Hey friend I'm still holding out for a Mike Patton analyses. He is Home free and Voice Play all by himself. His range, versatility and talent is unmatched. He sings all genres of music and does voice overs for horror movies and creatures for video games. He is a true free range vocalist. He's fronted six bands and numerous solo projects From Jazz, disco standards, pop ,opera to rock ,R&B All metal genres ,hip hop, rap, punk classical and others. One of my faves is his Mondo Cane concert in 2011 singing in Italian. An absolutely beautiful show to witness. There are many singing compilations showing his amazing talent. His rabbit hole goes deep and travels many different tunnels. Its a 100% real rollercoaster ride. You will be astonished. You might have to get a friend to pick a good video of his singing compilations. There are so many its hard to choose one because they are all great. Thanks.
@@kinetic4475 Perhaps Jimin is not a true counter tenor, but your information is incorrect. Contra Tenor is, in fact, the correct original term. Encyclopedia Brittanica says: "Countertenor, also spelled Contra Tenor, in music, adult male alto voice, either natural or falsetto. In England the word generally refers to a falsetto alto rather than a high tenor. Some writers reserve the term countertenor for a naturally produced voice, terming the falsetto voice a male alto." (And your comments about Jimin seem a bit shady. None of the bts members are classically trained singers, but that doesn't mean they aren't well trained - just because he didn't receive voice lessons before debut doesn't mean he hasn't received any since then.)
The gap in the songs, that you will find out later, is because these guys are brilliant dancers. So the songs are composed with that in mind. That should be something new for you 🤣🤣 Eventually it would be amazing if you reacted to a live. Their ability to have stable voices while dancing it one of the things that makes them who they are. 😘💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Trust me, we don't mind the long reactions. We can sit through hours of reactions because we love hearing about the Tannies. You might not like their songs, but be respectful about it.
i guess debuting in 2013 and being at the level they are now in 2022 can be named fast, but also just wanted to mention to you, that it wasn't easy. bts was in creation since 2010, the label was looking for the right members for the group for 3 years. those years were filled with serious training, 10-16 hours a day (and their work ethic never changed since). once they debuted, they faced strong oppression, being under a small label, trying to survive in a local music industry dominated by huge companies that don't play fair. there were a lot of hardships of their path, enormous amount of criticism and hate. all that being thrown at them just to bring them down, because people liked them and gravitated to them due to bts' message and values. there wasn't any breakthrough song for them, they didn't became stars in one day. fandom was growing gradually, but as it was happening, bts were treated as a threat by other big and rich labels that manage their own groups. every public persona gets hate, but double it in this case. this hate is organized and dedicated. boys been through a lot, but despite that never gave up on what inspired them to make music: the desire to help people, to make the world a better and kinder place. they stay polite even if they are mad, they help others even when they are hurt. to the hate and disrespect they answer with music, never stepped down to those unworthy people. to love they answer with even more and better music: there are soo many songs dedicated to us, army. they never shy away from expressing how genuinely they love us and how they are thankful for our support. you will understand this relationship after spending some time with us, bts and their music "I always wanted to become the best, so I was impatient and anxious. To compare myself against others became my daily life, and my greed, which used to be my weapon, became a leash that chokes me. But then, looking back, actually, I feel like it’s not that I wanted to become the best. I wanted to comfort and move your heart. I want to take away your sorrow and pain" Magic Shop by BTS
@@erume5776 yeah right...I think he/she just only here to introduce the group he/she like which is I don't know them, lol. But take note he/she watch your video huh 😂
😭😭😭😭😭😭hiiii there..im a baby army i just know bts..5 months ago...I always cry and get hurt every time I hear their hardship stories from the past until now....
First of all, loooove your analysis + reaction! And yes bts debuted in 2013, but they didn't get famous immediately and it took them lots of hard work to get where they are now because they had to face numerous hardships...They actually first blew up in america around 2017!
I will suggest you to check their "Film Out" live too. That song is beautiful and V is the baritone while Jimin naturally have high pitch voice. They all have beautiful and unique voice.
I use "Bass Singer" because "Vocal Coach/Opera Singer/Music Producer/Bass Singer" would be too long for the title 😂Glad you appreciate my explanations!
@@PeterBarber now i know & heard what is key change ☺️. All this while im watching other vocal coach reactions & they screamed for the key change but i don't get it. Im not a vocal student or singer but i love listening to all of this and it added to my knowledge.
The singer with the blue hair, RM, is the leader of the group and the main rapper. He is the one who is most fluent in English. He taught himself to speak English by watching DVDs of the TV show Friends. He watched it first with Korean subtitles, and then with English subtitles and eventually taught himself English from the dvds.
That short instrumental part is in the original song 😄 They'll usually do a dance break there on a live performance. They actually have choreographies for each of these songs, this Tiny Desk Concert is an exception in that they're not dancing. I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing them perform on a stage 🤩
Yay! Glad you are reviewing the tiny desk concert. Their live performances are what made me ARMY! For Save Me, there are dance breaks in the song for their choreo, which is a bit unexpected in a live band setting when they aren't dancing. The arrangement with the band has a distinct feel from the synth-EDM original
This is the performance that made me fall in love with BTS and started my Army journey.. I remember thinking "Oh sh*t these guys are actually super talented!"...I must have watched it about 50 times and it's still one of my favorite performance of theirs! It really showcases their talent and uniqueness...as well as how frickin adorable they all are 🥰🥰🥰 P.S. I know "Bass singer" is in the title but I still got a shock when he started talking...so low 😂😂😂
You should really watch the parts when they talk as well. I feel like it’ll actually help when you’re trying to analyze their voices. You’ll also learn more ab them if you’re interested. We also like watching it. As much as ARMY loves watching people react to them for their craft, we also love watching their personalities as well
The instrumental breakdown is present also in the original track. However, keep in mind that this is a live "stripped-down" version, very different vibe from their concerts and also a way to keep it different from studio versions of their songs and therefore interesting. In the original track the producer was playing more with the EDM feeling, making the beat drop more of a dance break (as a lot of their song have really high energy choreography) while for this version they decided to render it a bit more groovy and let the instruments shine through a bit more. The band that is playing with them in the background is called Ghost. I'm not sure about the recent concerts, but for large sections of their tours they would be the go-to band to play at BTS' live shows. They are amazing musicians and completely changed my mind about some songs I wasn't a massive fan of, after hearing the live rendition. I think they complement BTS' energy on stage really well and again, make sure to switch things up just enough so that you feel like the concert is a different experience rather than just sit in your room and listen to the album tracks.
18:39 theres no tuning in that video ...thats genuinely their real voices. Jimin which is the one on the screen rn paused, he has the most unique, beautiful voice ive heard and i just love him so much.
Thank you for reacting to BTS again. Tiny desk concert showcases their vocal ability and the dynamics of the band better. When you said there was a break, it’s usually bc they dance during that time. Your analysis and knowledge are always a breath of fresh air and I love to hear you dissect the artists’ vocals and the instruments playing. With you operatic background, you may like the Korean quartet Forestella. You could start with Bohemian Rhapsody or Nella Fantasia… just like Dimash, they are bringing a more operatic experience to the world of entertainment. If you want to hear more asian artists, you could check out Hua Chenyu’s “Nunchucks”, performed on the show The Singer where Dimash found international recognition. I can’t wait for your part 2 of BTS’s Tiny Desk concert!
Loved the lengthy analysis, the insights are really appreciated. People really over-stigmatized autotuning to the point where discussing it is a much bigger deal than it actually is.
You might react to "LIE" is a solo from JIMIN a BTS member. I think you might find interesting the combination of melody and vocal elements that he uses. The song is his composition, production and all the vocal elements used within made by him.
I’m a year late to this reaction. I’ve watched your Pentatonix ones, but didn’t realize you also reacted to BTS until I saw your reaction to Jimin’s Like Crazy. I always enjoy your reactions, it’s always fascinating to hear from the perspective of a professional singer. What you mentioned about going back and forth between Korean and English - check out J-Hope’s Chicken Noodle Soup. It combines Korean, English and Spanish!
Hahaha the original version of save me is an EDM song with some wild dance breaks so they've converted the drops into those instrumental sections. Really enjoyed this! Looking forward to part 2 :)
Thank you for this amazing reaction! Very interesting to not only see your reaction to the song and BTS' vocal abilities, but also have you break down so many of their choices. I love the fact that your reactions can have me learn something new about songs and performances I've seen a hundred times before. Really excited to follow your journey in getting to know BTS and can't wait to see the rest of your reactions to this Tiny Desk Concert!
I know you are focusing on the vocals, but I am excited for you to see a live performance where they are dancing and singing live! They usually have backing tracks because of all the movement but still sing live and it's amazing to see :)
Every vocal coach reacted to them couldn't believe their perfect singing and had doubts. They practiced for many hours. It's ingrained in their soul. As you get to know them you will understand that. They never take anything for granted. You can see their dedication through their works.💜 Also check out Indian singers' live performance(A.R.RAHMAN,SHREYA GOSHAL,SONU NIGAM,LATA MANGESHKAR),they will also surprise you. Solid vocals and different from western music. You will gain more music knowledge.
As an interesting note, BTS are the only artists ever to have three songs charting simultaneously in three different languages: an English song, a Korean song, and a Japanese song. :) If you want to hear a single song with three languages in it, you should check out JHope's collab with Becky G for Chicken Noodle Soup, lol. That song has segments in English, Korean, and Spanish. I love the diversity.
I really loved this video! When you finish resting to their tiny desk performance I think you’d like their 2021 Festa Room Live where they sing some extracts from their older and their newer songs!
First off, CONGRATS on the sponsors! Secondly, Yay to 2 parts! Now to song lol. Very funky, I like it very much. They have a great mixture of voices and sounds.
I was enjoying your reaction so much the end of the video surprised me 😭. This was fun to watch. Looking forward to the next part. Also, what you're seeing here and what I love about BTS is their voices are so distinct. Each member can sing the same thing and it's completely different.
18:40 im so happy you mentioned that most people are afraid of mentioning such things bc of fans. Unfortunately People think it’s a negative thing. Anyways loved the reaction
One thing about ARMY, is that we don't mind long videos, like we also have multiples reactors who spend a good 2 to 3 hours doing livestreams on BTS. Also, I hope if there are rude comments, please don't take it to heart, some people do have tendencies to take everything wrong when it comes to BTS, while you are clearly explaining things respectfully and nicely. About their voice, what's most impressive is that they improve - their voices - over time. At the beginning of their careers (and first concerts), they were a bit scattered everywhere and despite everything they were already very good. V's voice (green mic), for example, he worked a lot - especially for Dynamite as you see, in 2020 - to reach high notes, and he succeeded. V possesses a low, deep baritone voice. His voice is not just deep. It's soft and has a warmth, bringing depth to any pop song he sings. He makes excellent use of his deep chest voice, head voice, mixed voice and falsetto, drawing on his sweet baritone voice, resulting in transitions so smooth you won't notice how wide his range is from a casual listen. Jin (pink mic) is called "Silvery Vibrato" or "Silver Voice" by the Grammys because the Grammy panel stated that although BTS Jin's voice may not be the fanciest, he has stable breathing and the ability to switch between singing techniques freely. Hence, they described Jin’s voice as “silvery”. He only started singing (for the first time) at the age of 20, and he not only changed his voice, but he totally transformed it, he can easily switch between head voice and true voice. Jimin (orange mic) struggled with his vocals especially during their tour for the "Wings" album, he struggled to know how to use his vocal chords at the time. Yet, with continued work, today he has a falsetto and head voice that have a unique tone that could only be produced by him. Above all, Jimin's high notes were assessed as naturally of a higher range for any adult male, like for their song "Let me know", where he can go as high as an A5 which is three notes higher than Jungkook's F5 in "ON" which is already a high note. The only one who we can say found it easier to use his voice naturally was Jungkook (purple mic), that's why he's the main vocalist, but also the most stable to sing and dance at the same time. He is often referred to as one of the best singers in the world. His voice is pure, with a perfect pitch and a crazy range. Jungkook has been ranked as one of the best singers and all-rounders in the industry since he has solid abilities and is able to express his vocal in performances that require high technical skills. Really, I have to say that the vocalists of BTS always amaze me, and those since their debut despite their struggles, it didn't come naturally but from continuous hard work and dedication. Special mention to J-Hope, the rapper with the red mic, who is also a sub-vocalist, we get to hear his voice singing nicelyfrom time to time. So there's "Let me know" which I mentioned above for Jimin's high note absolutely to see (it's a song that includes the whole group, so also the rappers), know that there is a live for that performance. For songs coming only from the vocal line, there are "House of Cards", "Butterfly", "Dimple" and "The Truth Untold", they are also performances live available for all of theses. Thank you so much for being that professionnal and respectful. Can't wait for the next parts and future reactions. 💜
28:35 the breakdown section that you mentioned here is actually where the dance break comes in! Since they are not dancing it looks like an oddly extended scene :P
That was wonderful! They were a bit better than my choir in high school. 😁 But that experience did give me a better appreciation of what Voctave did today! 💜💜💜
thank you so much for your analysis! bts are my favorite artists and even though i don't know music in a professional way i learned a lot with this video!! keep it up :)
BTS DOESN'T USE AUTOTUNE OR LIP SING IT'S THEIR ACTUAL VOICE, THAT YOU ARE HEARING. IF I AM WRONG PLEASE ARMY CORRECT ME. THANKS. I'M AN ARMY SINCE MAY 2, 2018, I WAS 66 YEARS OLD NOW I'M 72 YEARS OLD AND TOTALLY LOVE BTS.
They are just perfect in vocals, Jungkook sings excellent for me, now on June 10th there will be BTS comeback, new era, new album and song for you to support views!!💜💜
Three of the four singers' voice are in the higher range, V is the only baritone. An when they need bass as a background, that's usually Suga, one of the rappers.
Tae is a leggero lyrical baritone, V has not yet reached his full maturity of his voice is the voice that is suffering the most in this change Today V is between being a Leggero lyrical singer and a dramatic tenor. Because his full voice vocal range is tenor, he has the longest vocal range of the BTs. in 2016 it had 3 octaves 5 tones and 1 semitone. But in reality, it makes 4 octaves on closer examination. He also received the honor of joining the Baritone Legends roster.
@@aurorawolf5861 I know but he said when they are doing harmonies he's the bass. 😁 It was in that Run episode when he played Yoonji. I don't know if he was joking but that's what he said...
In Dynamite when Jimin sings the pre chorus that's Namjoon in the background. When talking it's usually pretty obvious that Suga, Namjoon, and V have deeper voices. They once said in an interview that Namjoon and V have the deepest voices in the group.
Yeah in my opinion, the vocals sound slightly different for dynamite and the other two songs, so there might be some kind of little effect on the voices. I feel like that's kinda been the stylistic vibe for dynamite.
Ya it's confirmed that there is some tuning on just Dynamite. This is the version without if you're interested in the difference: th-cam.com/video/qqN4UWnfcQA/w-d-xo.html
I was so happy to see this pop up in my feed today. I loved the last analysis. One of the first thing I thought of last video was how I wished you would do the Tiny Desk Concert so I could learn more about their vocals as a non-singer. When you say we don’t need to be told they are good singer, the truth is that I did need to hear that. It is good to hear from a professional opera singer that they are good. Just because I like a singer does not always mean they are good singers. I think they are, but I have an untrained ear. I just went to check out your Dimash breakdown and will do a few others. Glad I found you. I am going to guess you will have many requests for FESTA live, so I will add my vote for that one as well.
I agree with you! There could be a little tuning in Dynamite, the first song in tiny desk. Probably because it's disco pop and there's some in the studio version as well. However, in the other 2 songs they sing later, it's not quite there.
I love your reaction and attention to detail. Glad a other singer gets to know BTS and some unique approach to music creation fresh for the Western world
Jhope (rapper) & Jungkook (singer) harmonies are always sound epic. These 7 guys are actually really amazing performers that they even sound this good even when doing very complex choreo.
If you want to hear more harmonies I suggest you to listen to "Life goes on" (MTV unplugged version). I also recommend "The truth untold" live (performed only by the vocal line) and "Blue & Grey (MTV unplugged version). Finally I suggest "BTS room live FESTA 2021" to get a taste of various songs. You won't regret it!😉 p.s. I think it's very interesting to listen to the rap line's songs too beacuse they have very unique voices and styles. maybe it's not your field but you should give it a try. Bye
‘Film out’ live would be a great next reaction, or ‘your eyes tell’ because both really showcase their vocals. Also, I’m sure it’s been mentioned but the instrumentals in their songs (the gaps with no singing) is because they dance on stage so it’s used for dance and performance when sang live
They can sing the same well while dancing crazy choreos btw. Also they debuted in 2013 so it's been almost 10 years before they've been actually started to treat seriously by the industry. Their popularity was growing in a very organic way to the point they finally couldn't be ignored. But it for sure wasn't fast : )
One of the aspects of a typical BTS performance that you're (kind of) missing here is their dancing. K-pop emphasizes a full-package performance, and BTS goes HARD on that, so where you were expecting rap line to come in on "Save Me," there's a dance break. (And yes, they can also sing and dance at the same time. Their vocal stamina is INSANE.)
Hi, I'm a new viewer from Indonesia. I'm a fan of BTS and also Voiceplay, since my son loves them so I use to hear them daily played in my house. And guess what, my son loves the bass voice, so his person of idol is more to Geoff and he practices his type of singing like Geoff does. Btw, I write a comment here to let you know I can't wait for the next part. And like any other army, yes, I don't mind if you upload more than an hour video, we'll still keep watching it, without any complaint. It's also valid with a lot of pauses happen in between. Thank you...
All the boys held auditions at different times and thus ended up joining the company as trainees. During the training period they went through constant evaluations that resulted in staying or leaving the company. All of them stood out and at the end of 2012 the final group was integrated and they began to prepare for their debut. They debuted in 2013 as a hip hop idol group. Sometimes you can see rappers singing and vocalists rapping. But they are not only vocalists or rappers and very good at dancing, they are also musicians and most of them play at least piano and guitar, additional to it writing, composing and even participating in production; in addition to that, they all have other talents and continue to be humble, simple and fun people. They get along very well with each other since since they became trainees they moved into the company dorm and as a group they continued to live together. Even they themselves decided to continue doing it and although they all have their own apartments they spend most of their time in the one they have in common, in periods or days off they go with their families or their apartment but they like to be together. To get to know them a little more: Rap line RM.- Is the leader of the gang (his role is to keep them together, resolve conflicts and interact with the company). Is main rapper. He was the first to join the company in 2010. He is dressed entirely in denim and has blue hair. Comes from the underground and like the other rappers in the group he writes his lines, but is also one of the main lyricists in the group. He is a baritone with a deep voice when speaking. Suga.- He has a blue blazer. Joined in 2010. Is the lead rapper. Besides participating in writing and composing, he is one of the company's in-house producers but also works with other artists and even made the latest version of the tune for Samsung cell phones. He is also one of the group's songwriters and lyricists. Although other classify him baritone, he has mentioned that he is short but raps at least an octave higher to be understood. J-Hope.- Orange suit that is on the left bank. Joined in 2010. He is one of the main dancers and considered a sub vocalist. He learned to rap from RM and Suga. He is also one of the writers and composers for BTS. It's baritone. Vocal line (his vocal ranges exceed 3 octaves) Jin.- He is the one in the burnt orange shirt almost in the center (next to the one in the blue suit). It’s the official visual of the group. Joined in 2011. He studied acting at university but did not sing or dance, already learning in the company, so her participation in the first years was limited. A few years ago critics of the Grammys pointed out him as having a Silver Voice. He is a lyrical tenor, his register is the second highest in the group and has the second widest vocal range. Jimin.- The one in the shirt who is on the right bank, with blonde hair. He is lead vocalist and one of the main dancers. Joined in 2012. He is a contemporary dancer although he was younger and studied popping; in addition to various martial arts being a black belt in taekwondo. He is considered a light tenor and by others a countertenor, having the highest register of the group, easily reaching notes that are considered high even by many women. The tone of his voice is considered unique, and his flips are very characteristic, so he is unmistakable when he sings. V.- The one in the blue suit in the center. Joined in 2011. Before that he had studied saxophone for 3 years (already in the group, in addition to piano, guitar, he has been seen practicing violin and trumpet) and was beginning to study dance when he accompanied a friend to the audition but he called the attention to one of the people in the company, encouraged him and helped him get permission from his father, which is how he auditioned. Once he got into the group they decided to keep it a secret until debut. He is the only baritone in the vocal line, has a deep and soulful voice; he has the widest vocal range of the group (in analysis of 2016 considered it to be 3 octaves 5 tones and 1 semitones; in more recent ones indicate 4 octaves) as well as a very versatile voice, so based on each song or presentation it can be said that his voice is serious, sharp, deep, moving, intense, sweet, aggressive, soft, airy, raspy. .... His vocal tone is peculiar and he has managed to have his own style, which is why he is considered an inimitable voice. Jungkook.- He's in an orange jacket and jeans. Joined in 2011. Is a main vocalist, lead dancer as well as being considered a subrapper. Is the youngest of all and came to live with them at 13, so they have really seen him grow. He is a lover of video editing and production, having already had the opportunity to direct one of the group's official MVs. In addition to piano and guitar, he likes to practice drums). He is a tenor having the lowest register of the 3 tenors; it has the most stable voice of the group and it could even be said that of Kpop, it seems that it was born with autotune and effects integrated in its throat since sometimes even dancing it sounds as if it were the studio version, even "flying" over the attendees at Wembley Stadium.
I love how detailed your reaction i think now you should check thier Japanese songs live wich are one's of my favorite and you will see other quality in thier voices my top 3 : film out, your eyes tell and let go
Glad you noticed the Ghost band. This is the first time they performed Dynamite with a live band. You appreciate them more when you find out how much training they had to go through to get them to this point. They each had a speciality when they were trainees but had to learn other skills throughout their journey (e.g, the rappers needed to learn to sing, several never danced before, etc.) Welcome to the BTS journey. Look forward to more of your critique...
If you react to their huge concert, you will realize they don't do auto-tunes or live editing. There are fan-cams of live concerts where instrument sounds are removed and you can tell that they dont make auto tunes. Their mic are, however, costumized and made of gold. Their polished performance are result of hours and days of practice and rehearsals. They don't stop until they perfect their performance. They are all hard working perfectionist artists.

Thank you for such detailed explanations and examples! If you do want to learn their names, go back and watch the speaking parts of Tiny Desk because their names are listed in the subs every time they speak.

i guess debuting in 2013 and being at the level they are now in 2022 can be named fast, but also just wanted to mention to you, that it wasn't easy. bts was in creation since 2010, the label was looking for the right members for the group for 3 years. those years were filled with serious training, 10-16 hours a day (and their work ethic never changed since). once they debuted, they faced strong oppression, being under a small label, trying to survive in a local music industry dominated by huge companies that don't play fair. there were a lot of hardships of their path, enormous amount of criticism and hate. all that being thrown at them just to bring them down, because people liked them and gravitated to them due to bts' message and values. there wasn't any breakthrough song for them, they didn't became stars in one day. fandom was growing gradually, but as it was happening, bts were treated as a threat by other big and rich labels that manage their own groups. every public persona gets hate, but double it in this case. this hate is organized and dedicated. boys been through a lot, but despite that never gave up on what inspired them to make music: the desire to help people, to make the world a better and kinder place. they stay polite even if they are mad, they help others even when they are hurt. to the hate and disrespect they answer with music, never stepped down to those unworthy people. to love they answer with even more and better music: there are soo many songs dedicated to us, army. they never shy away from expressing how genuinely they love us and how they are thankful for our support. you will understand this relationship after spending some time with us, bts and their music
"I always wanted to become the best, so I was impatient and anxious.

Thank you for your lovely breakdown, and I'm awfully excited for Part 2 this upcoming week! 😊💜
I'm sure you'd enjoy seeing them perform on a stage 🤩
when Save Me is performed on stage there's a dance section in that 'break' you didn't expect
BTS have changed many people’s lives for the better, i am glad you’re reacting to them.
Jimin which is the one on the screen rn paused, he has the most unique, beautiful voice ive heard and i just love him so much.
there is tuning, there is no point saying there isn't their voices are amazing but there is clearly some tuning happening especially during dynamite

It's cute when u'r smiling n having fun mimicking the instruments
Every vocal coach reacted to them couldn't believe their perfect singing and had doubts. They practiced for many hours. It's ingrained in their soul. As you get to know them you will understand that. They never take anything for granted. You can see their dedication through their works.💜

Dynamite had autotune. But it was more of an artistic choice
Bro you’ve developed that low register so much that you’re voice became a bass 🔥🔥 love it man
They are just perfect in vocals, Jungkook sings excellent for me, now on June 10th there will be BTS comeback, new era, new album and song for you to support views!!💜💜
Omg I love your voice. I can listen to u talk all day.
Three of the four singers' voice are in the higher range, V is the only baritone. An when they need bass as a background, that's usually Suga, one of the rappers.
V, Suga, and Namjoon are baritones suga and Namjoon being deeper
They always sings live, that's how good they are cause they've worked hard for that 💜 💜 💜
Yeah in my opinion, the vocals sound slightly different for dynamite and the other two songs, so there might be some kind of little effect on the voices. I feel like that's kinda been the stylistic vibe for dynamite.
Ya it's confirmed that there is some tuning on just Dynamite. This is the version without if you're interested in the difference: th-cam.com/video/qqN4UWnfcQA/w-d-xo.html
Thank you for the reaction! We like longer videos if they are informative, don't worry 😁
Some effects on Dynamite are a stylistic choice 😉

However, in the other 2 songs they sing later, it's not quite there.
they are crazy good dancers too!!
Thanks for your great reaction! Look forward to the next part!
This is such a great analysis, thank you so much, it's really interesting!
Thank you so much for reacting to the BTS tiny desk home concert. This is one of my favorite performances of theirs.
The music video for Save Me is definitely worth checking out! It was filmed in one take!
You won't regret it!😉
p.s. I think it's very interesting to listen to the rap line's songs too beacuse they have very unique voices and styles. maybe it's not your field but you should give it a try. Bye
"BTS room live FESTA 2021" yes this please~!
Hobi jumping up was his main dancer blood telling him to get up and Dance! Lol even if they weren’t dancing this time. 😂
I'm sooo happy to see he turned on the cc :)))))

Oh, you'll love all of their songs esp when you get to check out their individual songs.
To get to know them a little more:
Rap line
RM.- Is the leader of the gang (his role is to keep them together, resolve conflicts and interact with the company).
Vocal line (his vocal ranges exceed 3 octaves)
Jin.- He is the one in the burnt orange shirt almost in the center (next to the one in the blue suit).
I love how detailed your reaction i think now you should check thier Japanese songs live wich are one's of my favorite and you will see other quality in thier voices my top 3 : film out, your eyes tell and let go
All of these songs have full choreography so that’s why there are gaps and there dances are so complex and the sing while dancing
Jimin voice ❤
Can’t wait for part 2!!
They are all hard working perfectionist artists.
you don’t know what auto-tune is so it’s not even worth it to discuss it with you. but yes, in Dynamite they use auto-tune.
@@priiifrg why the rudeness? What i mean is live tone editing. If am wrong in uding the term autotunes, why the rudeness? You could hsve been heloed uf yiu educate me instead. Thank you for such detailed explanations and examples! If you do want to learn their names, go back and watch the speaking parts of Tiny Desk because their names are listed in the subs every time they speak. This is also a great vid for learning their names because they stay in the same formation the whole time (well, except when they get up cuz they're too excited lol.) Names left to right:
j-hope (rapper)
Suga (rapper)
Jungkook/JK (vocalist)
V (vocalist)
Jin (vocalist)
RM (rapper, group leader)
Jimin (vocalist)
wow, i loved this video so much! going straight into the second part💜
Oh my God, i can't even concentrate on your reaction because i fall in love with your voice 😅😅💕💕
Muchas gracias 🥰👌💜
Thanks for doing this video. What a cliffhanger! 😂 Never be afraid to do long videos with ARMY, we will watch lol. I literally just watched a 4 hour video of someone reacting to every one of their music videos. I really enjoyed your breakdown and cannot wait to see more. After the rest of Tiny Desk I recommend perhaps the live performances for House of Cards or Magic Shop and the 2021 Festa Room Live. Thanks!
What was that long video?
