I ORDERED THE PARTS ASAP AND OMG OMG OMG IT WORKS GREAT!!! I have a 110cm Spring II, and even though I am tall, I need to stand up every time I need to advance the warp. A word to the Spring owners: the clearance between the advance lever and the floating breast beam upright is quite tight; you might want the tip of the clutch handle to be right at the very end of the advance lever. Thank you Trent, this is going to make a huge difference in my weaving!!
@@TheWeftWright I love problem solving as well, but I bow to the master. ;) Now if you could solve the problem I have occasionally advancing my warp I would be ever-so grateful!
Thank you for sharing your ingenuity! I'm simply amazed what a clever mind can come up with to make weaving easier. Although my David III is only 70cm wide, I think this loom hack will improve the ease of weaving and and also save tiny bit of time reaching out for the brake. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge and making a video about it :)
I think you are amazing! I have to get up each time I want to advance the warp. I don't know if I have the self confidence to try this but I might get up the courage. I would also really like to improve my shed, but that looked a little more tricky to do. Why on earth can't the people in the Netherlands make these modifications to improve the loom? They are fairly hopeless in their responses. I wish you lived in NC and could come and get my loom into great shape!!!

Trent, your video quality is fabulous...love your hacks !
That means a lot, I’m trying to learn all those as quick as I can
How neat. I am definitely going to try to put this on my David lI. Thank you for this video.
This makes me so happy, keep me posted

I know how frustrating it can all be. Thanks so much for your comment. Email me and I might be able to help you. Theweftwright@gmail.com
Genius!
Thanks so much… I know it is pretty niche but I had to share.
@@TheWeftWright do you have an engineering background? A great example of lateral thinking.
