Thank you Sara, great videos about your David 3. I’m ordering one soon and will rewatch your videos while I wait for it to arrive. The decision of which loom I was going to buy was settled when I realized how much thought Louet puts into each new version of their looms.

How exciting! I hope you dont have to wait for yours quite as long as I had to wait for mine, I managed to order mine just at the peak of first wave of covid and that big ship lodging it self in the Suez canal, it was a mess haha. But well worth the wait. It really seems they do! I have actually added to my louet collection since and bought a Jane 8s table loom for sampling :D

I was afraid I’d have to wait 4-6 months, but I found a shop who was getting them in 4-6 weeks!

Hi Sarah, thanks for the very helpful video 😊. When you warp is it very heavy to pull away from the wall please? Also how many boxes does it come in, and are they very heavy? Thanks 😊

Hi Sara, I have a David 3 loom, the 110 cm size. I find that the shed is small on mine. I have read that the shed should be 3 inches, but on my loom I barely get 2 inches. I have tried all kind of adjustments without success. Do you have a good shed when you weave ?
    Thank you!

Hi Anne-Marie! That seems strange that is is barely 2 inches, that doesn't sound right. I have a nice shed, i made some adjustments when I just started to get it to where it was supposed to be. Don't think I have measured it but i have no issue getting clearance even with my end feed larger shuttles. I would post pictures in the louet David Facebook group to get help figuring out what's going on!
