    To Tudor Mateescu
I’ve just recently come across your channel and I think that you should be getting more views and comments than you are. Your photos are good and some of your insights are also interesting. It’s good that you don’t just focus on the big things, but also the small things like the Olympus art filters and the frame effect.
Like you, I also like the frame effect and would have liked a few different frame styles rather than just one. But that’s okay. Oddly enough the Fuji cameras have a setting called framing outline which displays a fine white line around the image which isn’t recorded on the photo. Panasonic do something similar but I think it only works in video mode, not stills. If the Panasonic S5 had this feature in stills mode I would be very interested, but it seems only Fuji has this. It also seems you can also get a good film look out of the S5 by tweaking the L. Classic Neo profile.
As for Fuji recipes, a few that I like the look of based on what I’ve seen are Ektar 100, Ektachrome 100SW, Fujicolor Pro 400H, Superia X-TRA 400 and Positive Film. Although none of these looks like the Instant Film art filter on Olympus. If you know any Fuji recipes that do, I’d like to see them.
In your commentary on the Olympus art filters, you said that it would be good if there were better options for customisation. Nikon actually have a very good system, but they barely even bother to mention it themselves and hardly anyone knows about it. They have customisation in camera, but they also have a system called Nikon Picture Control Editor. It isn’t well known, so I just thought it was worth mentioning.
Another small thing that often gets overlooked is the aspect ratios. It’s a little bit surprising, since one of the main advantages of mirrorless is that you can change the aspect ratio. Sometimes the official websites don’t even include this in the spec sheet, even from the manufacturers themselves. You might have to go to a few different store and camera maker websites to work it out.
But a few interesting ratios worth mentioning are 2:1 which is easier for printing and framing than 16:9 and you can find this on Panasonic cameras, while they also have 65:24 panoramic format. These are both good. Then you have Sigma which has a √2:1 ratio that matches A-Series paper. Having an A-Series aspect ratio is very practical for printing and you can also easily find cheap frames. Sigma also have 21:9 which is another good panoramic format, but not as stretched as 65:24 format.
Over the last few days, I’ve been trying the 4:3 ratio which I’ve hardly used. But now it seems quite natural after I’ve been using square format for the last year or two. It also works much better in vertical orientation than 3:2 for portraits, which I find too narrow. Interestingly, I’ve also found that my Olympus 25mm lens works well for more environmental portraits when I use the 4:3 format.
As for lenses to review, one that has my attention somehow is the Panasonic 25mm F1.7 which sems to get good results going by the images on Flickr. Although I might switch systems from Olympus to Fuji before I use it myself, but I’ll still hang on to my Pen F. If only they’d made a Mark 2 with better sensor, autofocus and weather sealing.
Getting back to the lens in this review however, I'd also like to point out that it becomes a 42mm lens on APS cropped sensors. But on Fuji the closest choice is probably the Sigma 30mm F1.4 which is faster. How would they compare if the Sigma is stopped down?
Finally, I’d just like to suggest that you should approach a couple of photography websites like DPReview and The Phoblographer and ask if they’d like to publish some of your articles. You make good videos on TH-cam, so I think they should be interested. That could also help boost your profile and get a few more clicks.
    All the best.

My FE 28mm F2 is very sharp on my 42 MP camera, one of my favorite lenses and probably the most useful. Furthermore, on an APS-C body it gives a 42mm angle of view, a nearly perfect "normal" or "standard" focal length.

The Sony 28mm 2.0 are only "good" on 24Mp full frame cameras, on cameras with more Mp it is not "good".
