I love how straight to the point mr nightmares videos are. Been listening for years. Dude has over a million subscribers and has never upgraded his mic lmao. Best on the platform
When my mother passed away, I took my funeral leave. She was buried on a Monday, and I returned to work my night shift on Friday night. When I returned home on Saturday morning, I walked in to find my answering machine beeping, with a message. There had been no messages when I left for wok. I pressed play, and heard, “ it’s mom” in my mother’s voice. Just letting me know she was looking over me, I guess. I still have the recording, and all of my siblings have verified it was mom’s voice after they heard it.
I’m so sorry for your loss. This happened to me with my auntie. After she died my mum found a message in the house from that was from her. And we only found it after she passed. I still think about it sometimes. It’s so bizarre.
these are creepy indeed. Feel especially bad for Mr Wallace and his poor wife; he was damn lucky they overturned his conviction! Too bad it was never found out who ended her. RIP...
The real scary part is the persecutors . You know they used to have dungeons under the courts?. They try hiding it nowadays but u know they just try keeping there secrets hidden. The stories hidden in there are only known to victims of the shady court systems and demented judges, along with all the crazy persecutors who got thrown down there as well.
Never experienced a "creepy" phone call per se, but a few years ago I got a minute-long voicemail with a cold robotic voice speaking in military code. Had my dad (retired army) listen to it, his theory was that somehow my phone signal accidentally received coordinates broadcast from a military plane nearby lol.
@@cynthiagraboski7098 You know what, it did sound similar to this (I wish I had kept it, deleted it long ago)! Thank you sharing the video! Looking through the comments, it seems I'm not the only one who's received similar calls like this one. My dad was probably right - it seems like it was either signals crossed or an accidental misdial from a military base.
I legit had a number saved into my old phone as "Screaming Voicemail" bc i never answered it but they left messages that sounded like someone or multiple ppl screaming in the background. Two of them, some guy would leave a message for some person telling them to call him back. *now.* weird screaming in the background. but the third was just dead air for a while until you realize the faint noises you're hearing sound, again, like tortured screams. It was like 40+seconds of it, then rustling and cutting off the phone. I decided if they called a fourth time and left another message like that, i'd report it. But they never did before my phone was changed.
The scariest phone call I ever received was from my mom after a fight. We had to leave the house because she was drunk and smashing plates, and it was too dangerous for us to stay there while she was like that. She called me trying to get a hold of my dad, and she was just sobbing. She didn't say anything the first time. She just cried. I hung up, and she called again screaming and begging me to make my dad call her. She wasn't in any danger. She was just insane. To this day it still scares the shit out of me when I think about it. I still have nightmares about it.
I was on the train coming home very late one night. My phone rang, it was a “screaming static call” and voices, followed by tyres screeching and a definite sound of a car crashing! Absolutely terrifying, especially as the caller I.D. showed the call came from husband who was at home. I called him back and explained what I’d just heard. He had no idea what the call was about as he was lounging in the sofa watching a comedy.
my aunt and uncle were staying at a hotel for a friends wedding back in like 1991. the phone in the room got a call and when my uncle answered, it was my grandpa saying “tell mama i’m alright and not to worry about me”, and then the line died. this occurred about 3 weeks after my grandpa had died from a heart attack. no one in my family knows what happened or what it was. it still gives me chills
OMg that first one actually hit different for me. That SAME THING happened to me and my gf like 5/6 years ago. I woke up one day to her calling me, and she was asking me why I had just called her so early in the morning (shortly after 7 am). I told her I never called her, but she told me she had received a call from me that sounded like i was far away from the phone and telling her to come outside. She said that I ended up hanging up on her after I wouldn't tell her why I wanted her to come outside. My phone had no record of making a call but her phone had the record of a 20 second conversation with me. It was so creep and so weird and I'll never forget it.
Creepy, This never EVER happened to me but a similar thing happened to my parents. So my dad and mom were in the kitchen talking and I was there for some reason. Then dads phone rang and it showed mom was calling him. It wouldnt be much of a issue if mom wasnt in the same room already with her phone right beside laying on a cabinet untouched. My dad asked why mom was calling him and mom said she didnt call him. They even checked moms phone and saw that mom indeed hadnt called dad but on dads phone it showed a recently missed call from mom "Just now". It was weird and creepy. Ofcourse mom and dad thought it was a phone issue since dads phone was old anyways but I noticed that dad had the phone for only like 3-5 years and plus his phone wasnt cracked in any place. So either dads phone is actually broken or maybe something happened..
WOAH WOAH WOAH!!! Let me get this perfectly straight: You comment something that is completely unrelated to the fact that I have two HAZARDOUSLY HANDSOME girlfriends? Considering that I am the unprettiest TH-camr worldwide, it is really incredible. Yet you did not mention it at all. I am VERY disappointed, dear eri
When I used to work in the Hospital, there was a story going around that someone had called from the morgue demanding blankets as they were cold. The time that call came , there was no one at the morgue.
An old man died and was burried with his phone. Some time later his son starts to receive msgs like why u burried me with old shoes, I need blankets it's cold so on, so on. The son gets annoyed, thinking the phone company sold the number to someone else and they are someone familiar so they making pranks. He goes to the police to complain, turns out it was actually prank, the grandson took out the sim card and thought it funny to send those msgs. So I guess someone actually was in the morgue at your work place 😀
@muhsinyorgun grandson would've gotten his ass beat, thinking "it was funny" to prank someone like that after just losing someone. If he wants to laugh at something to cope, that sure as hell ain't the way.
The Brandon Swanson story is very insane. At one point his parents ask him to flash his headlights so they could spot him and when he did they saw nothing but his mom swore she could hear the clicking from him turning the headlights off and on. Not only that but Brandon claimed to be just 10 minutes from home but his car and no traces of him were ever found where he claimed to be instead his car was found in another town a good ways from his home. What makes this stranger is that Brandon grew up in this town and would not have gotten lost or made the mistake of wondering off so far. He unfortunately disappeared and still has yet to be found. Anyone interested should listen to the latest episode of a podcast called morbid they’re covering the case.
It is sad the only thing I would wish for is closure for the family. I’m sure they just want to know what happened to him. The whole thing knocks me for a loop. I’m not sure if there was foul play or not and who knows what happened truthfully maybe something happened to Brendan but what it’s all so strange.
His last two words aren't that important. He could have been talking about anything. His disappearance? That's important. Another TH-camr mentioned a possible sink hole... Yikes! That would be my lousy luck. 😮
@@williamanthony9090A sink hole wouldn't explain why he told his parents his car was broken down only 10 mins from home in a town he was very familiar with, but his car was later found nowhere near there
@@erinnnx0940exactly. And he could see the lights of the town. This case is one Ive watched many true crime channels cover. Almost makes me think he went into an alternative realm.
I know this really isn't related to the video at all, but I feel like you deserve a thanks for your awesome uploads. It doesn't matter if they're far between, the quality makes it all worth the wait. I've been watching your videos since 2017 and there was a time where I was really sick. In the months leading up to surgery, I used to fall asleep on the floor to your vids, lol. I'm manageably better now, but I always get this nostalgic feeling when I hear your voiceovers. It's like a weirdly comforting thing I guess? Either way, thanks for your hard work. I'm sure everyone else in the comments feels the same, we appreciate the effort you put into making these! :)
For years I had a creepy caller. Back before cell phones. Every time I moved, they’d find me. Obviously someone I knew, but I never figured out who it was. Only called when I was alone, except twice. Once when my roommate was home sick and once when a neighbor was over. Creeped me out.
@@coreyhall1150 the calls happened from when I was 16 to 26 age range. I’m well in my 50’s now so I do believe my danger is gone, but it really terrified me. Especially because it was certainly someone I knew.
@@kellidinit3725 Well even if it still don't hurt to have a gun. Especially an older lady. Or have youre husband to buy one..... TRUST ME it may save your life one day. If my grandpa would have been ABLE to have a gun he was a felon his wife would have lived a little longer........ Stabbed 38 times and had her throat cut. A few others got stabbed as well. I have seen some horrors in my 32 years of being alive. Just saying it never hurts to be prepared.
I can't believe how many strange phone calls have been recorded between the 1930s and today! The one that scared me the most was definitely the one about the wife being murdered! I can’t wait to see what you have in store next!
i’ll never forget my great aunt’s last voice mail to my grandmother. it was mostly gibberish, but we could pick out the phrases “they’re coming to take me away” and “call me back later”
My dad passed away in 2018. A few months later I had a dream my phone was ringing and I picked up and it was him. He said "you really came through for me". I said "dad, how are you calling me? Where are are you calling from?" And he said "from death". And I woke immediately freaking out and was crying. I couldn't get back to sleep. I've had dreams that seemed real before but that one was dang near traumatizing. It still gets me emotional when I think about it.
The first call can be explained as a prank. You can use websites to call other people from whatever number you want. It could have been a friend knowing he left his phone there and decided to prank call his phone. He would also know how his friend sounded and could mimic his voice. It also explains how the call didn't show up on the phone at the dorm. I've done it before myself.
Yeah, that french restaurant owner one seems a little weird but I do have some possible theories; 1)He recently unintentionally pissed off someone off and they decided to get even 2)The building and land his restaurant is on is prime real estate and they want him out so they can have it 3)There's something of importance hidden in the foundations and they can't get it whilst the restaurant is open and operational
There's also a theory that it was because of his views. He was from Lebanon and had made it clear that he hated Israel (he took out an ad in the local newspaper about how Zionists were threatening the world). Maybe he was targeted because of that. He was also kidnapped in Lebanon by the PLO, it's possible that the PLO was behind the calls, but that has never been conclusively proven.
@@adrielsebastian5216 the PLO are anti Israel though. They just have slightly different tactics than Hamas. So the apparent anti Israel stance this guy has/had isn’t likely the motive. Besides why scratch the Star of David on his car?
@@feliciab5019 he was taken by the PLO a long time before the harassment, I think it was when he was back in Lebanon because they thought he was US agent
I've only heard PLO Pierre L'enfant is an important person in Washington DC history because he designed the city from scratch "In 1974, Bashir and his wife, Gail, moved to Beirut, Lebanon. She was a professional singer who entertained at the Phoenicia Hotel, a well-known gathering place for Middle East diplomats and arms dealers. Shortly after midnight on July 1, Bashir was on his way to pick her up from a party hosted by a Saudi princess when a van drove him off the road. Several unknown armed men came out of it and abducted him. He feared that they were going to rob him. However, he figured that he would not be hurt because he was a U.S. citizen. He figured that he would be able to explain his way out of the situation. Bashir was taken to a basement in an unknown location and held hostage there. The windowless room had one light on the ceiling and a blanket on the dirt floor. He hoped that the abduction was related to politics, and that he would be released once they realized that he was not a politician. Two hours later, his abductors came to question him. When he told them that he was a U.S. citizen, they accused him of being from the CIA. They beat him and tortured him at regular, two-hour intervals over the next few days. Bashir's abductors refused to let him sleep and gave him only small meals. He could only tell the time of day based on these meals. On the fifth day of his captivity, he began to hallucinate. He imagined hearing the anguished screams of his family. This was too much for him, so he tried to commit suicide by slashing his wrists with a jagged piece of plastic. Surprisingly, the terrorists took him to a hospital where doctors saved his life. With the help of the hospital and his family, his release was negotiated. To this day, he does not know who took him hostage or why. Two months later, Bashir returned to the United States. He and Gail divorced; soon after, he became the manager of an exotic North African restaurant on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. The restaurant became popular with recording stars, music stars, and celebrities. Within a few years, he and his family would open restaurants in Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. In 1982, just as Bashir's life appeared to return to normal, he began receiving a series of threatening phone calls at the D.C. restaurant. At first, the caller would not say anything; all Bashir could hear was breathing. However, the caller later started threatening him, saying that "he would be killed". The caller also started mentioning the names of Bashir's old friends and acquaintances that he had not seen in years. On some days, the caller would make up to twenty calls. Some calls were obscene, others were very threatening. The calls would continue in Philadelphia when Bashir would visit his other restaurants. In some of the calls, he could hear people laughing and screaming and the sounds of machine gun fire. Curiously, many of the phone calls appeared to come from a young child, dubbed "L'Fant," or" l'enfant" (French for "the child"). Some of the voices were of a young girl, others were Middle Eastern men. The calls brought back memories of Bashir's abduction; the screams sounded identical to those coming from other prisoners. In May 1986, the harassment turned violent when Bashir's car caught fire. His mechanic inspected the car and believed that someone had tampered with its wires. Bashir asked the FBI to investigate the threats to his life. A tap was placed on his telephone, which recorded more than 3000 threatening calls over an eighteen-month period. However, there was no distinct pattern in where the calls originated. No arrests were ever made. Journalist Lewis Beale was told by the FBI that the calls were coming from various payphones in the metropolitan area, which included Maryland and Virginia along with D.C. Some of the calls were coming in two times a minute, which suggested that multiple people were involved. Finally, Bashir committed himself to the psychiatric ward of a hospital. He did this to seek therapy and isolate himself from the constant barrage of phone calls. While he was in the hospital, his replacement at the D.C. restaurant, Raj Tuli, became the target of the harassment. The caller threatened to kill him, and also claimed to know his exact schedule, movements, and the location of his home. Three weeks after Raj became manager of the restaurant, his son Richard was targeted. While walking home from school, two men approached him, asking if he was Richard. When he responded, they brutally attacked him. Later that day, "L'enfant" called Raj and confirmed that they had attacked his son. The next day, someone painted "Richard Will Die" on the front door of the Tuli home. Bashir lived in the psychiatric ward for at least six years. During that time, his harassers were still able to call him. In 1993, he was still receiving up to seven calls per week. Bashir still has no idea why he is being targeted. However, he believes that it has something to do with his time in Lebanon and his abduction. Suspects: The threatening phone calls are suspected of being from a child, but the reason for the child doing this to Bashir is unknown. Due to the number of calls, it is believed that there are multiple people involved. Bashir and others suspect that the harassment may be related to Bashir's 1974 abduction in Beirut. He suspects that he may have come in contact with shadowy figures there. His wife would sometimes invite him to parties thrown by so-called "arms dealers" who were important in Beirut politics. Journalist Lewis Beale suspects that one of Bashir's abductors may have been someone that later became a diplomat or politician in Lebanon. He suspects that the individual(s) may have moved to Washington D.C. and decided to harass Bashir in an attempt to get him to leave the area so that he could not identify them."
I just started Mr. Nightmare binging a couple days ago and all of the stories in this one creeped the hell out of me, unlike the others. Freaking me out rn and it's daytime 😂
I've watched an in depth video about Brandon's case, and there was never any mention of his dad being mad about him cussing during that phone call. I doubt his dad ever really said that lol
I need to stop listening to your stories late at night. It is currently 12:30am while writing this and I've just had a chill run down my spine as my 4 year old son has just abruptly burst out into laughter while in a deep sleep. Scared the crap out of me!! Love all of the stories though, I listen to unwind after a stressful day. Too bad I can't relax after that haha
Mr nightmare is the first horror story channel I ever watched and I started watching this guy when he first started TH-cam back in like 2015 I wanna say, 6 years later he is still the best

My sister used to get phone calls several times a day from people wanting to order a pizza. This went on for some time. The owner of the pizza place had just opened it, and their phone number was only one digit off from being my sisters number. The owner wasn't changing his number. Or so he thought. She's not a patient person. She threatened him with a harassment lawsuit. He changed his number. Not a scary story, no. But it shows one of the many things that can happen if you aren't very observant of what you are doing. I've had people call and leave me messages before, wanting to talk to so and so......who I never knew or met. I kept telling them there was no such person at this number. After a few calls like that, I just ignored incoming calls and left them to deal with the voice message recorder. After a couple months of that, they stopped calling. Nowadays, if their name or business name doesn't show up on my caller ID, I let it go to voicemail. Needless to say I don't get much spam because of this.
I've had similar. My phone is one digit off of a health center so I used to get multiple calls from people asking for a doctor, placing an appointment, ect. It was funny until the novelty wore off and it got annoying.
That kinda shit happened to me in my 20s. Pawn/thrift shop had almost identical #'s but two digits were reversed. I got assloads of calls in a week but I took the new number. Store had it for years before I got there.
I can somewhat relate to the story about the strange phone calls with the screaming noise. It happened only twice to me though. Once when I was calling my mom a strange screeching noise with static mixed in it back in 2015. And another in 2020, and this time it was much more so sinister. I was FaceTiming my little sister and about 15 min into the call, the call audio cut out and suddenly started to distort. I can only describe it to be like alien like static screeching noises that almost have weirdly rhythmic up and down frequencies. It scared the living sh!t out of us and we both heard it on both ends.
Happened to me with my now wife. Few yrs ago we talked on WhatsApp, suddenly the same alien like, metal screeching like, screaming like (it was like all these noises mixed in one) noise came. My wife was alone with her grandma who was asleep and it scared the sh*t out of her. Had to call her with video call and stay well into the night til she calmed down. Scary sh*t really
When I was a kid we used to get calls requesting someone named gunnery sergeant r reed. This went on for months and a lot of times would be later in the night waking us all up (before cell phones and a house would have multiple phones so all would go off). Finally, my father was really drunk one weekend and the call came. He replied "no this is gunnery sergeant s reed" and the caller never tried again. Still is strange and a bit scary as a kid some stranger keeps calling for months.
Whoa. I got a static screaming call once. It was while I was working overnight stocking. It sounded like static sound where you were in between two radio stations and I could clearly hear a woman screaming in the background. I listened for a few minutes saying, wow, that's creepy. Tried to get the floor cleaning guy to listen but he ignored me then hung up. I never got a call like that again though.
When a friend of mine got one of those calls, he asked them which vehicle. They said the green Mercedes. He doesn't have a Mercedes, but he played along and responded "Yeah, but which green Mercedes? I own several." They immediately got frustrated and hung up on him.

2:30 My dad worked at an oil refinery that was less than a mile away from where the first known Zodiac killing took place. A few days later he was on top of one of the big tanks used to hold crude oil or product hen he heard gunfire outside the fence to the refinery, he was perfectly silhouetted against the lights of the refinery so he dropped to his belly trying to get bellow the edge of the tank. He used his radio to call for help, and it turned out the industrial park outside the refinery had an armed security guard who had been shooting at rabbits. The guard was looked at as a possible suspect in the murders that had taken place (it was not yet known to be the work of a serial killer) but he was not the killer. He was fired in any case.
#8: This can actually happen. Usually, scam callers will run their calls through a computer that is setup to run calls in diagnostic mode. They can do this to simulate calls by different numbers. This makes it so that they can change the number going out. The number is often, randomly generated. However, the person doing the call can specify a particular number. If it's the same number as a contact on the other persons phone, it will show up as them.
I received a weird text from a guy that said “I Miss You Too” I was like okay? He must be drunk? I asked “what do you mean?” He told me he replied to my text… what text? The Bashir Khaushaki case seems to me like a rival business thing involving multiple people. They allegedly even harassed other co-workers, I think this was done with the hope in mind of driving as many workers away, ruin the reputation of the business thus resulting in other people not wanting to work there out of fear of being harassed, and that they'd eventually be forced to shut down.

When I was a young firefighter 40 years ago. I would fill in as needed in dispatch, be a telephone/radio operator on the old PBX board. One night I was on the telephones, 2 o'clock in the morning the first three incoming lights light up. Thinking, "Here we go we have a fire", I plugged into the first number, it was the static call with a voice way off saying "I'm all right, I'm all right" it sounded like my deceased father. I kept asking "Do you have an emergency" then just static. I unplugged the call and all three lights cut off. Each light was a consecutive number off the main 7 digit that was dialed back then.
Idk your thoughts of things we live with but can’t physically see of sense them, but sounds like your dead father wanted to reach out to you somehow but didn’t know any other way but with the old operator. @@3thalluing339 Oh I agree with you. I watch for the pure entertainment value. However, a couple years ago, when I least expect it, there is a lady in a shirtwaist dress that pops up with me. I see her more with my mind than visually. She is like a doting wife that has to wait on her husband hand and foot. I have a feeling of the year 1904 with her.
@@Wa3ypx it’s possible you aren’t imaging it. I met an older woman from the early 1900s too in traditional clothing so I understand what you mean by that feeling because it’s just something you connect to them quickly and don’t doubt. Ikr, like is it rare for people to not answer every random call they get? Especially at night? I see it being joked as an “introverts thing”, but i didn’t think that many people submitted to their phone
This actually happened to me once. It was after the passing of my father, who had tried unsuccessfully to call me from the hospital where he was to have Surgery. The Surgeon botched the operation and after nearly a month in ICU my father's life support was turned off. A few months later, my phone rang on evening. When I answered, nobody spoke but there was background noise which sounded just.... odd.. I can't really describe it . It was not like any 'silent' phone call I had ever heard and I felt spooked. So I reported it and was told they would trace it. A man called me back some hours later to say they had tracked the call but the number did not exist and he added in a rather astonished voice that the engineers had absolutely no explanation for it.
There’s been many theories over the years on what might’ve happened to Brandon. Stemming from a drug debt he owed to a farm he may have stumbled on where the farmer over the last decade hasn’t let any searches happen on his land. His story is very strange to say the least
I believe the police speculate, IIRC, he fell into a nearby river and was swept away. One version I o I’d went as far as to say foot prints were found near the river.
The house I grew up in had a backyard with a wooden privacy fence. One day, my dad got a call from an unknown number that simply said "the little birds died". He hadn't told anyone but while he was mowing earlier that morning he saw a destroyed birds nest on the ground.
I had my own creepy phone call once… It was a short one, but still weirds me the hell out to this day. So about a year ago, I worked at this hardware store. Somehow me and this lesbian ended up becoming really good friends during the couple of weeks I worked there. I asked her out because I thought she was just kind of athletic-built. Had no idea she was a lesbian until she told me afterwards. Needless to say that was kind of a rude awakening. But she was still flattered that I asked her out nonetheless, and we had some great energy… Jump to a few weeks later and we had a brief hookup. It was her idea, but she felt kind of bad about it afterwards and told me she didn’t want to do it again because she had plans to marry her current girlfriend, so we both kind of went our separate ways and left it at that. 2 months pass without us talking. One night, I get a phone call. It’s her number. I miss the first call, and she calls again. When I answer, I ask “Hello?” and get a very distinct male voice asking me “Is this *my real first name* ?” I said “Ummmmm... who’s this? The voice asked again, louder and more concise, “Is this *my real first name* ?” I nervously reply “Umm, it might be.. Who’s this?” *click* Dude hangs up. Well that made me somewhat paranoid for the next few days, to say the least. What was really bizarre was the fact that when I texted this girl back to ask her what the hell was going on, she told me she didn’t know what I was talking about, and swore up and down she had never called me. It’s been a little over a year since it happened and I haven’t been murdered or anything… But I still think about it every now and then. If any of you reading this have an idea of what that might have been, feel free to let me know in the comments.
That's pretty trippy man, maybe a prank that got too real and she just never told you the truth of the call, maybe it was a friend of hers? I dunno, very strange. Lock your doors man this stuff is creepy
@@Roma_eterna It just doesn’t really make any sense for it to be a prank though. She didn’t really strike me as the pranking joking type, and she never got back to me later on to tell me if it really was or not.
I used to get calls that began with a recorded woman's voice saying, "This call is coming from the --- --- County Jail." followed by the most unearthly banging and screaming. I don't know how I could have gotten the call, which was on my answering machine, since (I think) inmates can only place collect calls and my phone didn't say I accepted collect calls. I got a lot of them, but when I moved, they stopped.
I'll tell y'all just one of many bizarre things that has happened to me. This was many years ago this old, black cat showed up at my door. He wouldn't let you pet him and he was very scraggly. However, I fed him over and over and eventually he became to somewhat trust me. That cat stayed around my house for a good 3 years and suddenly one day he was gone. I lived out in the woods and after some time I figured he must have died somehow and just never came back. Then, about 1 year later I'm out in my yard and in the woods there sits this black cat just staring at me. It was definitely him, but he wouldn't come anywhere near me. Then, he turned around and went back in the woods and disappeared. So, about 1 year after that I am standing on the back patio and suddenly, from in front of the house I hear an unfamiliar man's voice yell out my name " Mike"!!! This really startled me, because I lived out in the woods and there was no one anywhere around. So, I make my way down through the house to the front door and there is that black cat sitting on my porch!! I could not believe it. There is absolutely no other person within a mile of me and I heard my name called out very loud and very clear. From that point on that cat stayed right there at the house for probably another 5 years before he disappeared for the last time about 15 years ago.
My dad cussed like a sailor cause he was one. Saying “oh shit” would be the last concern of his if I was lost out in the middle of nowhere and some shit like that suddenly went down. Always carry a gun, folks. Not to be a wannabe bad ass but for protection against dangerous 2 and 4 legged animals. Also, always keep a backpack in your vehicle with some food (MREs) water, flashlight, chem lights, survival knife, wet weather gear, gloves (both winter and mechanix style shooting gloves), poncho, poncho liner, whistle, reflective mirror, canteen cup, water filters and purifiers, pen flares, parachute flares, and smoke grenades in your car. They sell the flares and smoke grenades at gun shows and are perfectly legal.
Phone Calls from the Dead by Scott Rogo, an older paperback, is stunning. If possible you should get a copy. My boyfriend passed in 11/22 and less than two weeks later a phone call was waiting for me. A robot metallic voice which identified itself as a text to landline free message told me "He is alright. He will be taken care of"...and the line went dead. No one knew he had passed away in my life. It was something very much not of this world. It blew my mind.
I miss your detailed stories about the dark web etc not so much the first hand stories written by others but I still love it because it’s Mr.nightmare lol
With that case of Bashir, there's much more backstory to that man - he was held captive in the Middle East and tortured before he moved to the US and later he had very strong opinions on the government that was questionable, which may have led to him being harrassed over the phone.
For story #5, the first time he back-dialed he must have gotten the wrong number somehow. The last time he back-dialed he definitely got the right number, they just lied about not knowing. That explains why it was disconnected after he back-dialed the last time. As for how it followed his 2 new numbers, it must have been someone who knew him IRL or was stalking him or something, they were finding out his number every time it changed and just played a recording into the phone.

Something weird happened to me about 4 years ago, i was messaging my boyfriend through facebook one evening when he was staying with his mum for a while as his brother just passed away, he was a 2 hour drive away, when suddenly he said please dont phone my mobile as mum was asleep i said i'm not i'm in my bedroom on my laptop talking to you through facebook, i had no need to call, he said his phone started ringing and it was showing my home landline phone was ringing him, i was the only one in the house apart from my cat! i was scared someone was in the house so i went downstairs looked around in every room couldn't find anyone or anything, it's something that i have never been able to explain. how does my house phone call my bf's mobile by itself ?
@@randomyoutubevideos3503 It could have been i suppose not sure, it was the timing too, if it was two mobile phones i think i would be inclined to believe it was a bug or a glitch of some sort, all i know it creeped me out for while and its not happened again since.
I had a similar incident with the first story, except it was not by phone but in person. I was a little kid riding on a tricycle inside my house when all of a sudden, I saw my brother coming out of my sister dark room with an evil look. I knew it wasn't my brother because he was not at home. The presence I saw that looks like my brother was pure evil.
My aunt passed away in 1984 at 41 years old. It was from melanoma that had metastasized to her liver and it was kinda sudden. Late diagnosis.

There was a story like this on one of these TH-cam channels. An elderly lady kept getting these calls.
I was at a funeral and I got this voicemail of someone speaking about death, the number was unavailable so yeah,,,
The scariest phone call I ever received was from my mom after a fight.
That is bizarre and creepy! Got chills just reading that.😱

my aunt and uncle were staying at a hotel for a friends wedding back in like 1991. the phone in the room got a call and when my uncle answered, it was my grandpa saying “tell mama i’m alright and not to worry about me”, and then the line died. this occurred about 3 weeks after my grandpa had died from a heart attack. no one in my family knows what happened or what it was. it still gives me chills

Not only that but Brandon claimed to be just 10 minutes from home but his car and no traces of him were ever found where he claimed to be instead his car was found in another town a good ways from his home. Stories about getting calls from deceased loved ones are always the scariest and saddest.
Another possibility is that Michael was bullshitting or had some kind of hallucination.
Or maybe the call was from parallel universe
I was thinking he had a doppelganger or something
Could you tell me the name of these websites?
Ah, that does ramp down the creepy by a lot lol.
Yeah, that french restaurant owner one seems a little weird but I do have some possible theories;
1)He recently unintentionally pissed off someone off and they decided to get even
2)The building and land his restaurant is on is prime real estate and they want him out so they can have it
3)There's something of importance hidden in the foundations and they can't get it whilst the restaurant is open and operational

Pierre L'enfant is an important person in Washington DC history because he designed the city from scratch
"In 1974, Bashir and his wife, Gail, moved to Beirut, Lebanon.

I don’t like your sister

Brandon's story has bothered me for so long. William Wallace's is despicable. Something about unexplained phone calls is so uniquely haunting...
Same I could have sworn they found something like part of his remains or something. This I heard like a yr ago
Mothman.

Look into phone phreaking. Early form of hacking. One person with the right skills could definitely do this.
It was his wife’s lover, who was a Mossad agent. He was jealous that she was with Kouchacji.
Ooooh no.
Pierre L'enfant is an important person in Washington DC history because he designed the city from scratch
"In 1974, Bashir and his wife, Gail, moved to Beirut, Lebanon.

When I answer, I ask “Hello?” and get a very distinct male voice asking me “Is this *my real first name* ?”
I said “Ummmmm... who’s this?
The voice asked again, louder and more concise, “Is this *my real first name* ?”
I nervously reply “Umm, it might be.. Who’s this?”
*click* Dude hangs up.

I don't know how I could have gotten the call, which was on my answering machine, since (I think) inmates can only place collect calls and my phone didn't say I accepted collect calls.

@@bethvirginiaphillips4583 prices start at 100 bucks for that book!
Already know this is gonna be good, out of all the other TH-camrs who do horror stories no one does it better than mr nightmare
I miss your detailed stories about the dark web etc not so much the first hand stories written by others but I still love it because it’s Mr.nightmare lol
What can I say other than that I love your channel. Amazing content as always.
You know it’s a great day when he uploads🤟
PERFECT TIMING.
With that case of Bashir, there's much more backstory to that man - he was held captive in the Middle East and tortured before he moved to the US and later he had very strong opinions on the government that was questionable, which may have led to him being harrassed over the phone.
I personally think multiple Government agencies were behind in on it. Not like the CiA & FBI are "on the same team"
@@TressaArasheben Covid, bruh.
@@TressaArasheben Saw your original comment before the edit, and it has nothing to do with my reply. I meant I now have a lot of time on my hands because of covid. I'm already vaccinated anyways.
And the e=mc² equation isn't complicated to explain, energy = mass times the speed of light squared.

Bugs, bugs everywhere. The bugs are smart.
Maybe caller ID spoofing?
@@randomyoutubevideos3503 It could have been i suppose not sure, it was the timing too, if it was two mobile phones i think i would be inclined to believe it was a bug or a glitch of some sort, all i know it creeped me out for while and its not happened again since.
who really gives a shit, probably just boasting about having a "bf" Zzzz
I had a similar incident with the first story, except it was not by phone but in person. I was a little kid riding on a tricycle inside my house when all of a sudden, I saw my brother coming out of my sister dark room with an evil look. I knew it wasn't my brother because he was not at home. The presence I saw that looks like my brother was pure evil.
What happened after you saw “him”? Did “he” ever come back? Did “he” try to attack?? This scared the shot out of me…
My aunt passed away in 1984 at 41 years old. It was from melanoma that had metastasized to her liver and it was kinda sudden. Late diagnosis. My mom was taking a nap one day and had a dream she was talking to my aunt on the phone. She woke up with the phone in her hand. My mom has not done anything like that before or since so she doesn’t tend to sleep walk or grab things in her sleep or anything. Kinda freaked her out.
