That’s just being a terrible parent. On the kid, idk why they decided not to take him aswell, if he gets injured or dies they’re fault. He’s only 10 at the time not like he’s 16/17 and almost an adult
Yeah it seems like a nightmare to any parent honestly like one kid gets hit by a car and another one almost gets hurt or killed from some random people honestly every worse situation about letting your kid go out at night and leaving your kid home alone seemed to happen
Nice to hear actual braveness and resolution in that last story. Finally, a guy who tackles the problem, and a neighbour helpful enough to keep checking in. Couple of good guys there
But dude that last story was terrifying that vivid image of an insane meth'd out woman being in your house the whole time waiting till you sleep to attack. All stories were scary
Story 3 they were definitely seen. If they were moving the bed and sheets around, they would have definitely rummaged around in the closet. They didn't have to because they clearly seen you. In those 20 seconds, they probably reflected on their life looking down at you and simply closed the closet and moved on.
@@SRTT318 There was this game where you play as a kid. You are the son of scientist who performed horrific experiments on other children to find a vaccine for his own daughter (your sister). These people tracked you down and broke into your house and your parents got tied up. However, one of the trespassers were compassionate and spared you, as long as you confessed the truth of what happened to their daughter. In the end, when you are to be killed by the leader of the gang, the merciful trespasser tackles him off the cliff (this is one of the endings.)
Story #3 is my worst fear. Being home alone, you always think of that "perfect" hiding place. Only for it to not work, and they find you. A home invasion is definitely my #1 fear.
Lmao that's because they pick the most obv places to hide ofc they gonna check under the bed and In the closet but I don't really balme them probably no where else to hide at in a room
Story 3: I wonder if the guy who opened the closet, was the least deranged of the bunch. Maybe he stood there deciding how his cohorts would react and determined, "The second I give this kid up, it's not going to end well for him".
idk really the chances are they were just there to steal and saw the kid wasn't even looking up at him so left them alone since there was really no reason to harm them.
@@redmoongaming7122 yea most people robbing houses aren't looking to get murder charges and shit. If they just steal some shit the cops honestly aren't gunna look for them very hard, but if you kill a kid you're pretty much guaranteeing yourself to be on the run for the rest of your life and the chances of being caught skyrocket.
I used to be a house robber and I always spared the kids when I inevitably found them. See I was just there to rob rich people of a small amount of their fortunes so I could survive, however some of my other co-conspirators were actually violent and me not wanting anyone to get hurt would pretend to not find anyone if I could.
I’m guessing the intruder in the third story did see the kid, soon after they opened the closet, as they did not rummage through the closet looking for the kid as they had done with the bedsheets. The 20 or so seconds of standing there was the intruder probably deciding what to do with the kid, eventually deciding they weren’t going to harm a child.
@@PerfectKirby ohh yes same, I just made a similar comment! He didn't see their faces ("presumably" for that intruder), _and_ he wasn't hindering them in any way, so That was relieving. 😌 though all I can think of now is Ygritte sparing...Gilly and her baby and motioning for them to be quiet 🤫
yo, congrats to the one guy for protecting his home, its much harder to do then you'd ever think. And extra props to that neighbor, I strive to be a neighbor like that, and we all should. Those kinds of people can be the difference between life and death sometimes.
It was very comical tho that he tackled the lady and dragged her across the house, something everyone thinks they could and will do but not necessarily true
Actually extremely curious about who experienced the last one. I had a neighbor named Karen and she was well known by police. She acted like a meth head but suffered from a multitude of mental health issues since birth. She was known for breaking into people homes and stealing random things, or just scaring people in general. She was not a bad person. Just scary when she didn't have her medicine.. medicated she was the sweetest woman on earth. It's sad really.
Sadly she passed away a little over a year ago, she was doing better before she passed. The last thing she said to me was that she loved me and was sorry for all that she had done.
"Maybe he just came to rob a house, not to hurt or kill a child." That basically has the same vibe as "You are bad guy. But does not mean you are bad *guy* "
I’m 27 and I HATE being home alone at night when my husband has to work. The scariest thing I’ve ever had happen to me was whenever this man dressed at a preacher came to my door and when I tried to close it he tried to barge in. Thankfully I was able to close and lock the door. I now have a ring camera because of that.
You opened the door for a man dressed as a preacher at night? You are lucky natural selection didn't occur, because that's stupid. Don't open doors, don't leave them unlocked. Common sense.
Story 4: I would’ve said very convincingly “okay hold on I’m gonna go grab my shoes!” Then walked into the house quietly lock the door and all the other doors while calling the cops, nobody randomly shows up in the woods needing help
Mr nightmare can you do a video following up on old stories that you've already told? Like the ones that ended with "If anything else happens, I'll give you an update". You could also do a quick recap of the stories for the ones who haven't seen it and then go into updates. That's something I'd definitely like to see!
I was chased down the street by a creepy man when I was 8. Ever since then I've spent my entire life on edge, always expecting danger around every corner. The fourth story killed me. I couldn't imagine hearing a voice in the woods and walking toward it. There are so many red flags in these stories that people ignore. It literally makes my skin crawl
It's better to be always prepared. You never know what kind of wierdo you'll encounter. I remember that when I was maybe like 5 or 6 I was at grandma's place of my childhood friend. I don't even remember if it was the grandma's birthday or something but I remember we went out playing on a playground just like normal kids would. We went back in and it was already getting dark. I remember we went in for like a minute or two to just say goodbye and we were about to leave. I put my shoes on and I went to the front door. Just to specify it was a block of flats so you got like 7 flats on top of each other and you have the front door of your flat and then the front door of the entire building and I went to the front door of the building, my friend and her mother were putting their shoes on and as soon as I got to the front door I totally froze. There was a guy that was I'd say in his late 40s and he was waving money in my face and with hand signals telling me to go outside to get the money. My parents always told me to not open the door or go with anyone that wants to give me money or candy or anything else. I got really scared. As soon as I unfroze I was running back to the front door of the flat as fast as I could where her mother and my friend were already ready to leave. I didn't say a word. I was so scared that when we leave he will kidnap us all 3, it was just two 5 or 6 year old kids with a mother. We would be an easy target. We went to the front door of the building and it was literally just like 5 seconds until we got to the front door to the outside and I remember my heart beating like crazy but to my surprise when we got to the door there wasn't anyone. Literally in 5 seconds he totally disappeared. I didn't know if I should say anything or no but I was still in shock and just kept my mouth closed hoping that the wierdo isn't waiting somewhere in the bushes. I never encoutered that man again but it was hella creepy going back home. We went to the friends house and my friends mother asked me if I can make it back home by myself and I hesitated for a while she knew I was hesitant about it but then I said yes that I'll go by myself. We were literally a minute of walking away from each other so like a man I said I'll go alone. I guess she saw I was hesitant at first so she said she will go with me just in case. I never told her or my parents what happened but it was creepy. That guy was probably watching us on the playground somewhere from the distance and hoped that after we went inside we just went to drink something and got back outside. It couldn't be a coincidence that he was there. When I got first to the door he was already there with the bill in his hand waving at me with it. I think it was 2012 at that time. I recalled the story some time ago and searched on google about kidnapping in my city. A case from 2012 showed up, some little girl was kidnapped and never found. Who knows, maybe it was the same guy. I'm a dumbass I should've told my friends mother and if we alerted the police there's a pedo around trying to lure kids maybe they would catch him and that kidnapping wouldn't happen. I escaped death that day by not opening the door. That thing creeps me out to this day. Now I often go out in the dark it's kinda calming when you walk around at night. Knowing what happened to me It's wierd that I often see kids out when its already dark. My parents wouldn't let me be out when it was already dark and they definitely knew why. I haven't heard of a kidnapping ever since so that is possitive but it won't leave my head, the fact that maybe if I told someone and we went to the police to explain I would maybe prevent someone's kidnapping and then death.
Scariest thing happened to me. It was one night a few years back. This guy said he got hit by a car and he was carrying a massive stick. He went down our road and he was looking for help cos he was injured. He came to our door and we answered. We called the police and then they picked him up. He was foreign. Didn’t speak English. I remember looking down from my brothers window tho. He didn’t hurt us. He just wanted help.
Story 3: That dude definitely saw you in the closet. I love how you pulled the old classic “trick” of even when “hiding” while still visible you just thought “as long as I close my eyes, no one can see me!”
It was a smart move for him to close his eyes. If he had looked at the intruder, then he might have screamed on instinct from the terror, which would either blow his cover or make him a problem if the intruder already saw him.
Exactly, it makes it feel scary bit also satisfactory, just like the person said at the end. It gives you a better feeling that the creepy things people are experiencing can be stopped
I love these types of stories because I use them as a bit of an educational tool. I am home alone often and have weapons strategically placed throughout my home... but the idea of something unexpected surfacing in my world crosses my mind probably more often than it should. I could only assume to help myself stay alert and not be caught off guard
yeah- dude if I ever heard someone yell my name in the woods (ESPECIALLY at night), I don’t care if they’re a real person I’m running and never coming back
That first one, with him seemingly hallucinating his sister's voice calling for him - something similar happened to me a few years ago. I was at college, and I excused myself from class to go to the bathroom. When I entered the bathroom, there weren't any other girls in there, no cubicles were taken up or anything. The door to the bathroom is also very noisy, so you'd hear someone coming in or leaving if they did. I was sitting, doing my business, when clear as day I heard my friend/classmate - we'll call her Laura - call my name. "Becca?" Confused, having not heard the door open, I called back "Yeah?" No answer. I quickly finished up and opened the cubicle door; nobody was there, and I didn't hear anyone leave. Weirded out, I washed my hands and hurried back to class, and asked Laura if she came looking for me in there. She just gave me a confused look and said "No?", so I explained what happened. She and our other friend, "Carrie", looked concerned, but we eventually just brushed it off as me hearing things. I still think about it, though. It echoed as if it was really there, and it was unmistakably Laura's voice.
I'm so sorry, Becca, I didn't mean to scare you back there. See, we ghosts get lonely in general and being a bathroom ghost specifically is sadly still a marginalized section of the ghost community. It's hard for us to meet people and make conversation. All we got is to mimicry your friends' voices and hope you start talking to us.
I've had something similar happen to me, but I was home. I heard my mom call my name so I thought she was here, but no one was. And I know I heard her. Creepy.
That happens to me so often I’ve gotten used to it. It’s been happening to me since I was a kid. I can hear full conversations, enough to make out what they’re saying, and it be no one. We live in a basement apartment. My mom’s room is on the opposite side of the house. I’m in the direct centre, and there are no windows nearby. One could argue that it’s a tv upstairs, but our landlords go to bed super early and their room is on my mom’s side. The voices sound like my dad and grandma who don’t even live with us. Even sleeping with a loud fan on, I’ll still get woken up sometimes by someone calling my name. Sometimes, it’s enough for me to get up and actually go into the living room before fully realizing that it’s just auditory hallucinations.
That "satisfaction" the guy felt at the end, was because he did a good deed by helping to get the crazy woman off the streets where she could not be a danger to any more people.
Story 2: someone is trying to break into your house, and you don’t call the police. Much better to sit in the dark and hope the guy will go away. I would have thought that way at age five, but at 14 while calling my friends and holding my phone in my hand, I’m pretty sure calling the police would occur to me….
@@CadenMcKinney Bro your lying who leaves there child home alone at 7 and mr nightmare wouldn't change something so insignificant also no one has girls over to watch movies at 7 years old bro
Story number 3… You don’t leave a 10 year old home alone at night. Irresponsible. Seeing your sibling in a bad condition isn’t worse than what he now had to experience or a number of other things that could have happened. At the hospital he could have sat outside the room or something.
I started being left home alone at 10 and I was fine, you definitely can if you don’t raise an idiot. This guy did the best he could have besides checking if doors were locked
@@barrett206 I’m sure there are many who were fine being left alone at a young age. Me being one of them. But I personally think it’s irresponsible. Each to their own.
Im not sure, to me, it worried me since it sounded as though he got pleasure from harming someone. But maybe Im wrong and just watch too many true crime documentaries.😕
@@cakefire6237 Yeah, I think you do. He was probably just feeling satisfied because he realized he wasn't crazy or because he was happy to have defended his house and turn someone the cops were looking for in.
@@cakefire6237 there’s no problem feeling happy harming that woman. Bcoz she isn’t an innocent person and she invaded his home to do something bad. And no he felt satisfied cos he was able to defend himself
He handled it well apart from not being a little more cautious when looking the first time in case she had a knife or something, and not checking the bed! Good for him taking her down though and he's got a good neighbor as well.
This is one of the reasons I absolutely make sure I lock everything in my house whenever I'm alone at night despite being 18. I might be a bit big, but I'm not good at fighting or any of that at all. Safety first always.
Horror stories are like a drug. You know they're not good for you, but you're so addicted that you can't stop being enthralled with them and watching, no matter how freaked out you get. That certainly is the case for me.
@@SamuelBlack84 It was probably Red. Given that he's an Impostor, the very sus noise that was heard was probably the sound of him venting, watching him from the vent.
@@Violetlightpriestess You know what's also a shape shifter? The Impostor from the hit game "Among Us". Clearly the only other logical explanation is that the Impostor vented, thus preventing him from being seen.
I would have been very proud of myself too if I was that guy in story 5 knowing I'd just dealt with an invader like a pro. And the invader got caught and arrested. These stories don't usually end that well.
My question is was she literally under the bed that whole time? If so, why did they not check under the bed at any point? Did they think that was too obvious a spot? Kudos to the guy for literally diving into her from his bed immediately though.
I will never understand how in situations where there's someone trying to break into your home or creeping around your property nobody thinks "hey, maybe I should CALL THE POLICE!" That nurse mom who got mad at the kid who didn't call the police was the only one who had any sense.
Unless you have been in a situation like that...trust me you have no clue how you will react. Some people forget even the simplest of things. Even freeze up and do nothing.
No literally, first thing I’m going to do at any sign of trouble is call the cops. Any type of fear or inconvenience I’m calling them. I don’t care better be safe than sorry 😭
It’s scary when you realize someone is trying to get in. That happened to me a couple of years ago. I called the police. They came and looked all around the house. They could see where he had been at the back door and around the windows. A couple of nights later he tried to get on the neighbors house but the dog scared him away when my neighbor turned on his back yard lights. A few nights later he was further down the street at another neighbors house. All of us who saw him gave the same description. I am not sure if they ever found him.
In the last story, despite all the hiding spots in closets, the guy not checking underneath the beds both annoys me yet relieves me that he didnt as it would have been terrifying
Kudos to real MVP in the last story - the neighbor. Some people these days don’t even bother to pick up the phone when they hear someone in distress; this guy ran over to help his neighbor personally - twice.
@hriday rasa Yep, went through a huge binge for like a month in June but now just focusing on other things. I know Im gonna turn back to binging those vids again soon tho
These people have absolutely zero survival skills. “I saw a woman in my home so instead of calling the police, I went into my house alone without calling the cops or anything and went into every room where they will have the jump on me” Even if some of these people were teens, they should have all had the common sense to call the cops
She was probably a skinny old meth head lady, so the guy was confident that he could take her out. But still, she could have a weapon and calling the cops wouldve been the best option.
I absolutely adore you Mr nightmare I appreciate all that you've done all the stories that you produce and all the efforts that you put into giving us great content you're amazing and I inspired to be just like you I've actually taken time out of my life to write could be past the stories one of which I'm currently working on my dream is to have somebody like you read one of them on their channel I'm not asking you of course because I don't want to annoy you with meaningless requests but I just want to say thank you so much personally for all that you've done
Story number 3 : The intruders definitely saw you. They didn't do anything because it'd just make things harder for them so they just stole some valuables and decided to go with that.
Fr. Also given the fact that he said a number of valuables were stolen it was obvious the intruders were just there to rob the place not kidnap or hurt/kill anyone. They likely looked around the neighborhood for an empty house LMAO
Story #3. I get it, as a parent it would be scary to deal with your child on the way to the hospital, when there are so many questions, and terrible scenarios playing in your head. But that was incredibly stupid and irresponsible to leave a 10 year old and 5 year old home alone. Especially when their older brother is in the hospital. Seriously, it's important for the entire family to be together at such a crucial time.
I’m pretty sure they DID bring the 5-year-old but I completely agree it’s ridiculous to leave a kid home alone. I understand if he doesn’t want to see his brother in such a situation but like leave him in the car or something AT LEAST then :/
I thought the same thing. If he was 14 or 15, maybe okay home alone. But 10? Nope. He has no cell phone or landline in his room *and* you forget to lock the front door? Bad all around. I give my kids scenarios and what to do if someone were to break in based on where they are in the house, but I still wouldn’t leave a child younger than 13 or 14 home alone with no way to call for help or a plan if there were a fire or break-in.
Honestly, in the 3rd story, I think OP may have been seen, but the guy didn't do anything. 20 seconds is a long time, and maybe the guy was processing that there was a boy hiding from them there. That definitely could have gone worse.
My house was set up exactly like the first story with the couch. My cat and I one night thought it would be a great idea to shut off all the lights and watch scary movies. It was his idea not mine btw. I kept hearing little noises behind me during the movie and just thought I was scaring myself. I was laying on my back on the couch and my cat was laying on my chest. I had to turn my head to see the t.v. Now before this I believed animals and children could see spirits. So when I watched as my cat was staring at something from behind the couch, it started giving me the creeps. He wouldn't turn his head for anything no matter what I said or did, he just stared. After a few long minutes I watched as he slowly moved his head as if he was following something slowly moving, he turned his head and stopped right above my head. He was staring at something above my head. I was frozen for a good 60 seconds, jumped up and turned on all the lights. Needless to say, I moved my couch against a wall after that
“It was my cats idea to watch a scary movie” lmao btw my cat does that sometimes, he stares at the ceiling and moves his head around a bit. I usually joke that he’s seeing demons but the room is pretty small so obviously I can see what he’s staring at and usually it’s literally nothing, almost like he sees through the walls or something.
With regards to first story, a few friends and myself were staying in a Air B&B a few years ago. I wake up one night around 2am and hear someone fall outside my bedroom door. As I was getting up to see what happened I heard the person get up off the floor and walk off. So I fell back asleep. The next morning one of my friends said his leg was sore. I asked him if it was from his fall last night. He gave me a weird look and said “I slept well last night and never got out of bed”.. We all then proceeded to look at one another as if to say, so who fell at 2am then; and to this day we still have no idea who was out in that hallway
@@sydnitownsend4855 being that this event has came up in conversation multiple times since that happened, I’ve taken the time to look back at it. I heard someone get up off the floor and walk off, but I didn’t hear any shifting around in the bedroom next to mine. When I say shifting around, you would think at 2am you would be able to hear someone going back to bed right across the hall. All’s I heard though was someone walk off after falling and then no noise afterwards, then I fell back asleep. When I initially heard the fall I also heard a grunting sound that a people typically make when they fall, but I couldn’t tell based off the grunt who it was. Once again, if I was a little more than half awake when all this happened I would of processed the eeriness of it better

@@freck2614 me too lol, these used to scare me to the point where i couldn’t sleep at night but now they’re just entertaining and strangely therapeutic
I think that the reason the guy didn't kill or take the kid from the closet was because the kid never looked up at his face. So because he didn't know what he looked like he was spared. That's my take
Or you know, he was just a burglar trying to get money for weed and debts and didn't really wanted to ruin a entire family by killing off an innocent kid. Burglars break in houses with no people inside, steal what they can and leave quickly. The group probably was watching the neighborhood around and saw the family leaving, and didn't thought that there was someone else in the house. And even if the kid saw the burglar, he was probably wearing a mask and if not, he would probably just try to intimidate the kid to not tell anyone about it instead of cut open his throat right away.
@@El_Magrelao69 Idk why you're so passionate about home intruders? Anyone willing to break into a home already has a questionable moral compass. They're there to STEAL from people for their own personal gain. This is the first story i've even heard of an intruder not attempting or stabbing someone in the house. Best case scenario is that those intruders just didn't want to have murder charges or more heat on them lol
Been watching since 2015, with your Chuck E Cheese and Don’t Let Strangers In videos. Scared the shit out of 6th grade me lol. It’s wild to see your channel grow this big. Arguably one of the biggest horror channels on TH-cam, Thanks for everything you do man.
I stopped watching because I was getting way too many ads like double ads after every story but now I'm back! No ads and Mr nightmare is my favourite story teller.
These stories remind me a lot of one time when I was home alone and my parents said they planned to be back the following morning. I had gone to sleep but was always a fairly light sleeper, so I woke up around 3 AM to footsteps on the main floor of the house (which was above my bedroom.) My first instinct was to very quietly get out of bed and go into the closet, then text my parents to see if it was them. Took them a good ten minutes to get back to me, which was extremely tense. Turns out it was, they'd gotten home earlier than they expected, but stories like these make me feel like I was justified in not just assuming it was them.
@@nikolina5893 man nobody tryna hear all that, if you’re in danger and can not defend yourself, you call the police SIMPLE… it’s common sense. I’m not basing not calling the police off of anecdotal experiences from others or bc I think they won’t do anything; that way of thinking is just down right stupid especially in situations like this. Him not calling the police could’ve easily been a fatal mistake but I also blame the parents bc that mindset should’ve been beaten that into his head already
The voice, the dedication, the fact that you don’t have to make viewers/listeners wait long for a new video, all reasons why this is the best horror story channel. 🖤
From the way it sounds, the intruder definitely saw the kid. There is no other reason to stay for 20 seconds in front of the door, and THEN SHUT IT. The intruder probably just planned to steal some valuables and didn't want to harm a child or make the job harder by doing so, especially since the child didnt see the dude's face.
It’s been over 5 years since I subbed to Mr. Nightmare. I remember my first video, I was stunned at how relaxing his voice is. Thank you so much for years of content, you’ve been helping me sleep for YEARS now.
Definitely one of Mr. Nightmare's best videos in awhile. Great stories that keep you on edge, but also his narration is really good here. He places emphasis on certain words and doesn't read in a disinterested, depressed tone that he has done in the recent years; he actually pulls you into the stories the way used to do so well back in 2015 and 2016
Were they this good? I found out about him I believe 2 years ago or slightly more. I love all his videos since and I don’t think he sounds disinterested. I’ll check out his old videos. Any specific ones you guys recomend?
@@Natimarinhu In most of his videos from mid 2018 up until late 2019/20 his narration is pretty poor in my opinion. He speaks very low, and without much or enthusiasm or infliction in his voice. Compare his voice from Summer 2016 and Fall 2018 and you'll hear it. He has started to get better over the last year or so, and this was one of my favorite videos he's done in a long time
i was camping with 2 friends for 2 nights in this pretty popular but still pretty quiet & isolated place near a beach. we had just set out our camps, and both of my friends wanted to go out on a rowboat at night, because they had never done it before. the boat was kinda shoddy and couldn't fit a third guy anyways, so i told them i would stay behind and act as their lighthouse for when they wanted to come back. they rowed away into the distance and around some little islets, and i was left behind, alone. i just whipped my phone out and started watching netflix while waiting to see their lights again. well, after about 15 minutes of watching prison break, i started hearing these weird rustling sounds coming from the reeds nearby on the beach. at first i figured it was nothing, then i thought it was an animal, and then i just wanted to see it for myself. i took my flashlight out and pointed it at the reeds, and the noise stopped and i saw absolutely nothing. i walked around a little, tried to look in from different angles, but saw absolutely nothing. i figured i was disturbing some bird building its nest, so i just gave up and continued watching the show. in 5 minutes, the sound started again, and since it was distracting me from the show, i picked up a rock and threw it at the reeds expecting a bird to flap away. nah, i just heard the stone hitting the reeds and then splashing in the water. the noise stopped, but i heard a little splashing and -- i fucking kid you not -- something threw a pebble back towards my direction from there. i mean, this was in the water, and i had heard it for 20 minutes now. and it was like 12 pm and we were out in the wild. i stood up and used my flashlight again, and said loudly & sternly "hey, come out right now!". no response, and no sounds at all. at this point i saw my friends' light in the distance, and i just started signaling my position to them. as they got closer, i started yelling "there's someone here, fucking hurry!" and it only took them a couple of minutes to get back. i told them about the sounds and about the stone that was thrown at my direction, and together we looked around and even took the boat right to the edge of these reeds, and we didn't see or hear anything. we went back to our little camp, and i fell asleep pretty fast feeling safe with my friends.. but in like an hour i woke up to my friend opening the zipper to my tent and whispering "we have to go now, i think it's that guy you heard". we left the camp and our tents behind and walked back to the parking lot a few hundred meters away. there, my friends told me they both woke up to sounds of small pebbles being thrown at their tents. they were just tiny little stones that flicked right off, but this shit freaked us all out completely. none of us saw anything. we went back to get out stuff in the morning, and it was all intact and undisturbed. it's like some THING was only there to play with our minds.

The first story doesn't surprise me at all. I once hallucinated the sound of a flock of birds taking off in my room, followed by the sound of something falling from my wardrobe. I got out of bed and walked over to the wardrobe, suspecting I had hallucinated but wanting to confirm. (Indeed I had.) This happened while I was relatively alert; I was in bed but I had been awake for some time, and was aware of my surroundings. Another time I hallucinated my mother telling out to me "Nick, where's Laura [my sister] sleeping?" It was so vivid I opened my mouth to respond before I realised it wasn't real. I love it when that happens. It's an exploration into alternative states of mind.
Yeah my mom has hallucinated entire conversations in her sleep, waking up asking if I found whatever she thought she was talking about in her sleep. Always freaky when I have to share a hotel room with her and she starts answering non existent questions in her sleep, I usually wake her up when that happens.
I know exactly what you mean, once I heard the sound of a random kiss from nowhere coming from my room in the night, and then a few days after a round of applause coming from my closet. This was when I was 12.
I once had an hallucinations that was scary as hell. I was up late and fell asleep but woke up at around 3 or 4 o clock for no apparent reason. I looked towards my door and it was open. there was a figure right by the door facing me that I couldn’t really define any features of other than the fact that it seemed to be a figure of a person in a long white gown. I instantly for some reason in my sleepy state got out of bed. And the figure was no longer there. So I went to the door and looked into my hallway and the figure was right there facing me in its long white gown. That’s when my hallucination vanished and I came back to reality and screamed. The scream woke up my parents which ends the scary part. But I still think about that now 5 years later with no other incidents and wonder wtf that was but my parents still remember me waking them up with a scream so I know it’s still something that happened
I’ve hallucinated before too. When I was young and slept at my aunties house one night. It was like 5am on a summer’s morning so it was already light and I hallucinated the presence of something in her room trying to prod me with a needle or some other sharp instrument while I lay in bed. It was so weird
We can all relate to these stories in one point of our lives and how anything can happen like you would normally think this will never happen to me but anything can happen nowadays
I got a story that’s almost similar to the first story. Imma first tell the layout of our house so that you can imagine the scenario. We live in an apartment building where the staircase is inside the building. The end of the staircase leads to a gate in the last floor where our apartment is in. It was during the night and my mom went outside to the gardens to tend on something. And later on I went a floor down to hang out with our neighbors. Some time later my mom comes back up and sees the gates were locked, thinking that I was still just inside (cause we usually lock our gates even if we’re at home) my mom knocks on the wall and starts calling out for my name. She then apparently heard my voice from the inside of our apartment answering back “yes, hold on!”. But the gates never opened so my mom became more irritated and started knocking louder while shouting for my name. And by pure coincidence I decided to go back home. And while walking up the stairs I could hear my mom’s voice. I then called out for her and she turns around looking very confused while I was opening the gates. My mom then explains what all that happened and needless to say we were both very spooked that night.
I don't think you understand that bravery on those situations is a double edged sword, you either get killed or get lucky enough to deal with the intruder, wouldn't personally want to bet my life on a 50/50
I would love it if these videos were a podcast on Spotify or something. Imagery adds to the effect but the stories and sound effects on their own are pretty great!

idk really the chances are they were just there to steal and saw the kid wasn't even looking up at him so left them alone since there was really no reason to harm them.

I used to be a house robber and I always spared the kids when I inevitably found them.

Ever heard of an open window lol

Couldn’t been a demon mimicking there voice it’s bad if u respond to them
I'm so sorry, Becca, I didn't mean to scare you back there.
See, we ghosts get lonely in general and being a bathroom ghost specifically is sadly still a marginalized section of the ghost community. It's hard for us to meet people and make conversation. All we got is to mimicry your friends' voices and hope you start talking to us.

@@Mia_mua101 what happens if you respond
Or maybe he felt a sense of peace because the intruder was caught and behind bars. Most of these stories the intruder gets away.

I would have been very proud of myself too if I was that guy in story 5 knowing I'd just dealt with an invader like a pro. And the invader got caught and arrested. These stories don't usually end that well.
He should have called the police immediately, not check every room himself

But yes I do agree about someone being outside your house snooping.
I usually call the cops after i...well
Nevermind. Ya...call the cops.
@@manosharkie12 I used to be in this situation and the police were the last thing on my mind

Hi
How would you not look under your bed after you just saw the woman in your house?
Well because you wouldn't expect people to hide under your bed
@@Melissa31179um it’s a very obvious hiding spot
These people have absolutely zero survival skills. “I saw a woman in my home so instead of calling the police, I went into my house alone without calling the cops or anything and went into every room where they will have the jump on me”
Even if some of these people were teens, they should have all had the common sense to call the cops
She was probably a skinny old meth head lady, so the guy was confident that he could take her out. But still, she could have a weapon and calling the cops wouldve been the best option.
exactly what I was thinking. She could've been armed and what would he have been able to do?! Absolutely nothing!

I understand if he doesn’t want to see his brother in such a situation but like leave him in the car or something AT LEAST then :/
@@michellesmirnova4471 yeah you're right.
For real
I thought the same thing. If he was 14 or 15, maybe okay home alone. But 10? Nope. He has no cell phone or landline in his room *and* you forget to lock the front door? Bad all around. I give my kids scenarios and what to do if someone were to break in based on where they are in the house, but I still wouldn’t leave a child younger than 13 or 14 home alone with no way to call for help or a plan if there were a fire or break-in.
He said when he was a kid so this was probably a while ago when leaving a 10 yo at home alone was normal

Maybe sleepwalking?

I think that the reason the guy didn't kill or take the kid from the closet was because the kid never looked up at his face. So because he didn't know what he looked like he was spared. That's my take
Ooooh, you’re onto something there
Or you know, he was just a burglar trying to get money for weed and debts and didn't really wanted to ruin a entire family by killing off an innocent kid.

"I was too afraid to call the police" 💀
Bruh💀💀💀💀
These stories remind me a lot of one time when I was home alone and my parents said they planned to be back the following morning. I had gone to sleep but was always a fairly light sleeper, so I woke up around 3 AM to footsteps on the main floor of the house (which was above my bedroom.) My first instinct was to very quietly get out of bed and go into the closet, then text my parents to see if it was them. Took them a good ten minutes to get back to me, which was extremely tense. Turns out it was, they'd gotten home earlier than they expected, but stories like these make me feel like I was justified in not just assuming it was them.
“I was scared to call the police for some reason” is one of dumbest things I’ve ever heard🤦🏿♂️

@@Natimarinhu In most of his videos from mid 2018 up until late 2019/20 his narration is pretty poor in my opinion. He speaks very low, and without much or enthusiasm or infliction in his voice. i was camping with 2 friends for 2 nights in this pretty popular but still pretty quiet & isolated place near a beach. we had just set out our camps, and both of my friends wanted to go out on a rowboat at night, because they had never done it before. the boat was kinda shoddy and couldn't fit a third guy anyways, so i told them i would stay behind and act as their lighthouse for when they wanted to come back. they rowed away into the distance and around some little islets, and i was left behind, alone. i just whipped my phone out and started watching netflix while waiting to see their lights again.
well, after about 15 minutes of watching prison break, i started hearing these weird rustling sounds coming from the reeds nearby on the beach. at first i figured it was nothing, then i thought it was an animal, and then i just wanted to see it for myself. i took my flashlight out and pointed it at the reeds, and the noise stopped and i saw absolutely nothing. i walked around a little, tried to look in from different angles, but saw absolutely nothing. i figured i was disturbing some bird building its nest, so i just gave up and continued watching the show. in 5 minutes, the sound started again, and since it was distracting me from the show, i picked up a rock and threw it at the reeds expecting a bird to flap away. nah, i just heard the stone hitting the reeds and then splashing in the water. the noise stopped, but i heard a little splashing and -- i fucking kid you not -- something threw a pebble back towards my direction from there. i mean, this was in the water, and i had heard it for 20 minutes now. and it was like 12 pm and we were out in the wild. i stood up and used my flashlight again, and said loudly & sternly "hey, come out right now!". no response, and no sounds at all.
at this point i saw my friends' light in the distance, and i just started signaling my position to them. as they got closer, i started yelling "there's someone here, fucking hurry!" and it only took them a couple of minutes to get back. i told them about the sounds and about the stone that was thrown at my direction, and together we looked around and even took the boat right to the edge of these reeds, and we didn't see or hear anything.
we went back to our little camp, and i fell asleep pretty fast feeling safe with my friends.. but in like an hour i woke up to my friend opening the zipper to my tent and whispering "we have to go now, i think it's that guy you heard". we left the camp and our tents behind and walked back to the parking lot a few hundred meters away. there, my friends told me they both woke up to sounds of small pebbles being thrown at their tents. they were just tiny little stones that flicked right off, but this shit freaked us all out completely. none of us saw anything.
we went back to get out stuff in the morning, and it was all intact and undisturbed. it's like some THING was only there to play with our minds.
I would have just shit my pants by then lol

@@FWJosh43 Hi. Can I ask you are the stories real or made up?
Thankyou
Story number 3 is the definition of the meme professionals have standards, if by chance, he was actually seen.
❤❤ it's awesome 😊
We can all relate to these stories in one point of our lives and how anything can happen like you would normally think this will never happen to me but anything can happen nowadays
Yeah. I prefer to live with family members
