Tom's voice is truly an incredible instrument. One of the best male voices today..and maybe ever. He deserves global superstardom and maybe one day it will happen for him.
I love him! Caught him first here in a clip and was totally hooked on his voice. His rendition of “Creep” and the “Sound of Silence “ are also unbelievable. Totally talented😊
Watched him when he was on BGT, he was so humble, said he was a secondary school teacher, but everyone was absolutely blown away when he reached those high notes. Thank you Ken for reacting to Tom. I bought his first LP and it's stunning. From what I've heard his recording came in at 2 in the charts.
I loved his version of Live and Let Die, starting out as Noodle on BGT when he returned there. Beautiful. Not sure what his training was, if any, but he was a school teacher and only about 24 when he was on BGT the first time.
Thank you Ken! I can’t sing but I know what sounds good. You are my guide, you help explain to me what I am listening to. Gives me better appreciation. Thanks again!
I 1st saw Tom Ball on BGT. I fell in Love with his Beautiful and Soulful Voice. Watch his Sound of silence so g on AGT. You will love it too. Thanks for sharing what you thought.
Just subscribed to your channel, love you genuine and honest judging of singer’s vocals. I watched your video on fairuz, a beautiful voice from my country . I am going to make a recommendation though, that I think you will be amazed by. Um Kulthum, an Arab singer that has passed 50 years ago and people still listen to her and consider her the greatest singer of the Arab world, even made it on The Rolling Stones recently as the first Arab singer to ever be on the list . A very famous song of hers is “inta omri” which I think the viewers would enjoy. Not to forget mentioning that her most famous songs were during her 60s and 70s. Thank you and hope you can consider this!
I wish you'd listened to the original version. There's so much reverb, much of Tom's vocal qualities are lost. His voice is so beautiful, it doesn't need all this decorum to be appreciated.
Tom Ball is amazing, no doubt. Please, Ken, take a look at Nemo, the Eurovision contest winner. We really really need your reaction! ❤ Thank you so much for your videos.
'Loved your comments and critique! So Frederick Robert eh? Now I go deep diving again for a singer I may have never noticed. Ty! So would Tom be considered a Tenor or First Tenor? You mentioned breath control ... YES! And what I also love about him is his enunciation.......you hear every word. If a singer slurs or doesn't 'end' words, I'm totally turned off. What is semi-glottal (sp?) attack? I love his pure, natural vibrato. For 25 years old, this 'kid' has his shite together! I read somewhere he was doing cruise ships. If he doesn't already have it in his sights, I can see him being a lead in musicals - he emotes every emotion with his hands, his eyes, his deliveries. Bring Him Home, Empty Chairs ..... ya, I can see him being a lead .....absolutely. As always, loved your reaction and intellect!!!
For me the next stage of Tom Balls career is to sing in a foreign language and very soon the next James Bond movie into…… like a young male Shirley Bassey….he’s transitioning from a basic singer to a world class performer!
I highly recommend Tom’s live version of Sound of Silence. It’s much better than the version he recorded later. th-cam.com/video/LY605KSUkqU/w-d-xo.htmlfeature=shared
You should check out Jolene by Ray Lamontagne. The Sessions @ AOL is a decent performance. Hardly anybody sings gruff and soft like him. He pulls back on some phrases like the wind got knocked out of him like life came along and dealt him a hard blow while singing.
Look up on TH-cam, Tom Jones doing this song in 1970 on his TV show. There really is no comparison. Tom Ball wins this one hands down! Tom Jones' version sounds almost choppy next to Tom Ball. Don't get me wrong -- I grew up during the Tom Jones era and I listened to him a lot. But, Tom Ball wins this one.
Dude I am not sure if you are gonna read my comment but if you do please react to Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal singing together live on the stage of Indian idol. They sang randomly without any rehersal and believe me you won't regret.
please please please analyze rumi poetry by homayoun shajarian I promise you will be shocked, you have never heard anything like this before, and please teach me how to strengthen the vocal cords in this way.

Some notes he hits sound so similar to Adam lambert. And I love it! I would love to hear a duet with both of them!!

This guy is completely transformed. Have not watched him for awhile. Stunning voice, and I love the new look. Wow.
I loved his version of Live and Let Die, starting out as Noodle on BGT when he returned there. Beautiful. Not sure what his training was, if any, but he was a school teacher and only about 24 when he was on BGT the first time.
His voice is so strong and beautiful. He sings with emotion.
I love Tom. He's brilliant and so humble. He's done brilliant covers of The Sound of Silence and Creep. You should check them out.
Tom Ball is an impressive new singer.
I loved it. I'd rather hear the finished project with fresh ears than the competition. More please

Thank you Ken! I can’t sing but I know what sounds good. You are my guide, you help explain to me what I am listening to. Gives me better appreciation. Thanks again!

And yes, Tom Jones. I grew up listening to him!
Would love for you to comment on Jack Blocker singing from American Idol. He just came in third. I felt like he should have won
You should review his version of Creep by Radiohead!! It’s absolutely amazing!!
For me the next stage of Tom Balls career is to sing in a foreign language and very soon the next James Bond movie into…… like a young male Shirley Bassey….he’s transitioning from a basic singer to a world class performer!
I suggest Caleb holes and Jonathan young plagues and deliver us ( the prince of Egypt covers)
This is great but Tom Jones….. ahhh he’s great. Enjoyed this guy to. Thanks.
I highly recommend Tom’s live version of Sound of Silence. It’s much better than the version he recorded later.

Nowt like Tom Jones .😊
Hi, can i ask for you to react to a song called "Macabre" by Dir en Grey?, the one played live in Nippon Budokan concert. Must be that one please❤
