It's been two years since I bought my 2020 BMW S1000RR, yet I still hadn't made a top speed challenge video. I'll be honest, it's because I didn't think it was possible on my chose roads in Mexico. Well, I thought I'd give it a go.

Bro! Don't go balls to the wall on roads that have cross streets. Highway is already a gamble. If somebody turns out from one of those side streets there is no way you can stop. Stay safe and keep up the great content.

100 on my little yamaha r15
Start in 2nd gear 50 MPH and you’ll hit 192 in just under a mile and don’t shift until just before 15,000 RPM. That bike makes Power all the way to redline. Stock gearing mechanically limits the bike at 192.
I have hit 192 many times on mine when I lived in Hawaii I mean the Mexican island’s. Now that I live in Iowa I’m going to change the rear sprocket so I can go over 200 one time…maybe twice then change it back lol.

I topped out my sprint st at 153 yesterday. The s1000rr is going to be my next bike. I’m so excited to feel the power difference.
Too many awesome new bikes out I cannot decide myself either. Suzuki GSXR1000r, Kawasaki ZX10R, Yamaha YZF R1M, Kawasaki H2 or H2R, Aprilla RSV4, Aprilla Tuono V4, Honda flashed ecu Fireblade CBR1000rr SP, Ducati Palingale V4R. Too many to choose from, but That S1000RR is nice.
I did with my R1 2021 189mph completely stock
Well... Goin for that 200 would be satisfying 💯

I think that traffic light had a separate signal for "left turn" which was red when you pulled up. It changed to green the second before you actually initiated your turn, but it was red for the van driver
Haha I was excited to hit 119MPH on my R3 the other day. This has been my dream bike since it dropped, so fast!
My R3 hit a top speed of 110 mph that too on a downhill, I'm curious how you got yours to 119
I have a S 1000 RR on order but grabbed my daughter a new R3 last month. It is an absolute blast to ride and just so fun. I've been on it more than I've been on my bike! I'm probably going to end up with another one for the Mrs and honestly had I known these were as good as they are would probably have 3 of them, last 1 for myself. Enjoy the ride man, that bike has a ton of character and beautiful.
I’ve been 165 in a Lexus once and it was exhilarating and terrifying, I can only imagine what that bike feels like

@@user.256z It was an 03 is300. I met the owner at a local cars and coffee and we later met up for a backroad cruise and some highway pulls. Made my LS460 look slower than it is 😂

@@user.256z It was wicked sketchy. He got the car at auction with flood damage in PA. Fully gutted it. Driveway built 2jzgte swap with a big turbo, V160/61 Getrag transmission. Some other scrap yard parts. Fastest tin can I’ve ever been in lmao.
@@user.256z I’ve got my LS up to 135 but it wasn’t happy. Not bad for a stock 4330lb car. The aftermarket options for my engine are limited tho so rn I’m just low and loud
U could really top it out if you went on the 45 toll in between the 35 and 130, rarely see any cars and it’s super smooth. Only seen 1 cop out there before

I've got a video of me doing 186mph on my bone stock 2022 S1000RR it dynoed 180bhp again its bone stock and it is NOT the M package it is just the premium package.
It's in the shop right now im getting a full titanium akrapovic exhaust and headers installed along with a stage 1 brentune.
Next I'm planning on doing the stage 2 brentune along with the velocity stacks, the flapper delete and the IAT sensor relocation.
But even bone stock and with the seriously piss poor ECU map from BMW my 2022 S1000RR is stupid fast and handles like a dream. I seriously can't wait to get it back from the shop and see the difference in the Power Band curve because the dead spot around 4000-8000 rpm are definitely a bit annoying, the shifting although good i hear gets MUCH better and the stock exhaust sounds more like a lawnmower then the absolute BEAST that it is.

I owned a corvette, in the past. They day I should it, two people were killed. High speed on the freeway, they hit a bump and lost control.
I remember when 1 had my zx10r 04mdl, with a power commander, exhaust n air filter n I did 290km redline in 5th 🤣🤣🤣🤣 they were the days, my mate on the back loved it.
I owned a raced bike that blew its engine at 100 mph. Rear wheel locked up. It was like a slow motion single water skii feeling. Eventually thrown off. Scary!

Me and a buddy were racing about 185 mph and some dude in a truck pulled out in front of us, Scary shit luckily I’ve been to the track and know how to brake. Be safe brother

R1 is a great sounding bike. With a full system on the Bmw it sounds good tho. H2 is my Favourite with the vandemon on it.

Yes its old, but have you hopped on a VFR 1200 (Honda`s super aggressive drive shaft sport+ tourer yet?). Yes she`s weighty (juiced up the DCT is a meaty 265kg), but man i was so pleasantly taken by the purity of performance a la` simplicity i couldn't not add a low mileage 2011 model to my collection. At 1,97 m tall with previous knee injuries she is an absolute treat to take on long haul journeys- very comfortable with a seriously powerful torque monstrosity spitting up the moment you etch over 8400 rpm.
200 mph equals a football field every second. Stopping takes awhile, also.

Ik did an indicated 310 km/h (193 mph) on a Sundaymorning during covid last year. Empty autobahn in Germany, no traffic at all. Save and legal. 😅

Is that with a speedo healer to make sure the speed is accurate. My 09 R1 was 6% high until I installed my speedo healer. Do you have a sprocket change on the bike?

Brent, you've gotta use all the gear, saw you way under redline but wide open throttle at one point. Not gonna see top speed like that 😉 I saw the 186 dash limiter on my gen 3. But that was in 5th😏

Honestly on high performance bikes its...weird. I've done 250 on my r6, which felt fast, but not really any faster than 200, which doesn't feel much after than 150. It's kind of strange to understand, as it just feels...faster, not really anything else. Sure is a metric fuckload of fun though lmao
@@griffintaylor3861 I'm sure it's loads of fun. I've only been a passenger because for me it's impossible to ride myself and the max speed was 170 it was pretty fast but 300... idk I imagine that's way more exciting.

@@Studiosatoshi I literally have a 2017 675 street triple r and got to 151 but it took a while and had to lay off ran out of space but its cool to know 160 is possible..151 felt close to top speed for me tho was a slow climb passed 148 and I thought it would of topped out around 153-154 if anything...unles you have a Daytona then yea I can deff see 160 plus possible

Are those Speedos accurate? I remember older bikes the speedo used to be way off.
Still off by up to 10% but generally more accurate than the original super bikes
