The 23's are the most restricted yet. BT says 2nd gear gives you only 30% throttle until after 9k rpm, as well as a top end restriction. Anyone who has this bike on the break in limiter, can probably tell you when clicking up to 3rd, you can definitely feel it pull a lot harder.
My 22 triumph speed triple 1200 is similar. Second get doesn't pull that hard. When I'm coming out of a corner I can feel it for sure so I prefer to just be a great higher and stay in 3rd. Luckily the bike has plenty of torque to compensate. I tune helped me alot and I'm sure would help help here maybe do a brentune. I hear people say the 15-17 s1krr are the best
@@californiapoontappa For sure a BT tune fixes the power issues. A stage 2 flash showed 30hp on the top and almost 60hp in the dead spot in 2nd gear. Idk what year is the best, but the new ones are a mix of the RR and M for the RR price. Bikes are stupid expensive now, but there's a lot to the BMW that make you you feel a bit better about the price.

@@UrAverageGamerHD I'd watch it, but I can already feel it now with the 8k limiter. Just won't feel it unrestricted past 9k because my bikes first service will include a full exhaust and BT stage 2. Don't have the luxury to keep going back to the dealer for service, so it'll be all at once.
@@Cobradaddy I'm thinking about doing the stage 1 kit on mine, but scared about the warranty. I'm putting a new exhaust on my bike as we speak and just got the limiter taken off yesterday! I'll probably pull the trigger on the stage 1 tune though...

I got to ride one of these last year and its unbelievable to me how smooth of a bike it was, at least compared to my mt-10
I'm 220...fixed my mt10 with R1 forks and an Ohlins shock. Between that and the tuned from Mooremafia. It's more refined and smooth. Those windscreens help a lot too
@matt o'malley I have a MT09 and was wondering if the tune from Chris would be really worth it? Could you feel a big difference in street riding? All I have done is exhaust. Chris can definitely make some power and seems like a great dude.
I have a S1000XR, the "Dad bike" version of this thing. It's fast, it's well put together, but the "smooth" is just unread compared to anything else I've ever ridden. I took a long ride yesterday and I was tried, didn't sleep well the night before. One the ride home, I was ripping pretty good down a highway and I found myself starting to get those "heavy eyes" like you get in a car. I could not believe it, is it even possible to fall asleep on a motorcycle? It's amazing how refined BMW has these liter engines with ~200HP, just incredible.
Do bren tuning with the velocity stacks. It'll change the entire powerband and the quickshifter speeds are doubled at least.

Get it tuned from brentune or s1000kracing. It removes all the restrictions in first 3 gears. Mine struggled to clutch up at times from a factory torque restriction

I have a 2021 s1k and the bren tune stage 1 made an insane difference overall but in 2nd gear it was night and day you gotta get it

I love the honks I get when cutting up through traffic..lol. I hit the bike lanes here in cape coral fl to get to the front at red lights. People get so mad over nothing. I stay to the side but ahead of them, but they act so offended. I just stay calm, don't honk back, and don't acknowledge them and never have an issue.

Nah man they get pissed because they are stuck in traffic and cannot split lanes. Anyone that rides and sits in traffic and not split lanes deserves to get rear ended. Splitting lanes is much safer than sitting in traffic and red lights etc. That is why it is legal in a lot of countries.

A car has tried to crush me between a cement wall and their vehicle 3 times in my life for simply cruising by them. (Never have I done it over 30 mph.) twice in St.Louis but the people were just trying to give me a heart attack, once in Houston where the guy was actually trying to hurt me. 😂 your balls are even bigger in my book for riding like this in Texas of all places. Houston highways feel more like a race track than anything as early as 4:30 A.M to me so props to you.

I've been riding like this for 20 years. Still alive. How? Because a good rider can avoid accidents. If someone merges into your lane, you simply slow down or maneuver around them. Its as easy as walking. These bikes handle like fighter jets. Screw all the haters who have no skills or have never even ridden a super bike to understand just how safe they are at high speeds. Its the riders that crash, not the bikes.

I gotta give the respect where it's due though, this guy obviously knows exactly what he's doing and he's a damn pro at it.. he's just on another level than anyone that I've ever seen, that's for sure. That being said, if he wants to put himself in danger, that's fine. He's a grown man and that's his choice but he's putting everyone else in the road at risk as well and IDC if your the best rider on the planet, every dog has its day and you'll eventually get got. What GoPro settings are you using? Image stabil off? The speed looks much more realistic
you have to get it tuned and ideally the intake flapper deleted. get the bren tune stage two kit and thank me later. no more lag, better quick shifter.

If you want headphones that will not fall out just get powerbeats pro, only time they'll fall off is when you take off your helmet because it literally pulls them off, but no other way will they come off. I've had mine for years and have yet to have them fall off in any circumstance

“Status audio , inbetween pro” , it’s a little tricky to get the helmet on and off with them in. But they are a really solid headphone and come with different sizes of ear pieces to Taylor your fit

Have you tried any Bluetooth headsets for music? The ones that go in your helmet, ive had good luck with those but after 140 you can’t hear em even on max volume(w/earplugs). I think it also depends on the fit of your helmet since a loose helmet will let in lots of wind noise.

i found a cheap way to achieve similar results using magix movie editor 2023 and an old gopro hero 3. go into video settings and activate automatic exposure and brightness and it looks similar to this.
