Hi, very kind of you to share this. The 20mm would add 2 mm of trail, more stable/ more self centering... 22 would be easier to turn ...less stable. Concentric, means in line on center....
Great video, watched it twice actually. Just rode a friends bike with WP closed cartridge and compared to my stock bike there is just not even a comparison; needless to say I was fast, stable, safe and comfy. I’m going for the works myself too, however instead of the xtrig clamps I`m interested in these bar clamps but can’t seem to find a way to source them? It’s for a gas gas 250 2023 Anyway thanks for the video Cheers
@@michail1963 Hi, I have Dal Soggio a few days and it's amazing. Only now does one know how weak the original WP xplor is. It really only works at low speed. But I have no comparison with the Pro 6500.
Thank you for making this video, very helpful. I just bought a set of XPlore 6500, and my question my sound stupid.: so there is no need to put oil in the smaller internal chamber (the one which has a top cap)?
Great video... What did you end up setting your comp / reb clickers at? Did you stick with the recommended setting of 18 rebound / 16 compression? Thanks
eurotek tbr conversion vs 6500. which do you think is better taking the price difference out of the question. or is one better than the other in certain situations?

Thank you for the informative video in regards of the 6500 montage. Mine will come soon...
Good video Carl, just fitting a set to the bike now. Looking forward to testing them out soon!
Nice clamps, i also bought 6500 cartridge, had Öhlins ttx before. Wp valving is better and easyer to service by myself.

Excellent video. The 6500s seem just like my cone valves but just with a mid valve shim stack instead of the cone. At last, another great WP fork.
Rode them today. Absolutely amazing. 3 other people rode the bike and said the same. 👍😎
@@enduroskillstraining did you revalve the 6500 or went with WP out of the box settings?
@@diygreasemonkey201 out of the box settings 👍😎

He did not install the hydrostop tube to the fork. Are the fork lugs wrong type?
Nice video, and to the preload of spring what are the settings?

Excellent info thanks Carl.
Hallo... can you more explain the behavior of the motorcycle and the offset settings? Have you tried both settings or chosen straight 20mm?
I got xtrig ROCS - do you think the TBR clamps are better compared to ROCS or very similar? The TBRs definitely look mint.
how much is TBR fork triple clamps?
Did you go with the 4.0 springs?? Seems light…?
I use 4.6 and weigh 90kgs
Is there going be a follow video up to settings and how they are or was they just set at one setting and not touched again many thanks
hi didi you ride xplor pro aer?

I bought these direct from SA, was delivered in 4 days by DHL
where can i find those clamps?
Informative video, thanks.
Where can you buy these from and what’s cost cheers
Nice informative vid
Cool. Very informative.
bolts were dry and thus had more than 12nm...
No, we checked it on 2 seperate triple clamps before recording. Was the same every time.
Wouldn’t it being dry cause more friction therefore when torque wrench clicks it actually is less clamp force?
For africa twin 1100 l Long travel fork
Just gonna nip outside and loosen my fork punch bolts 🔩 jeez stock clamps are rubbish

6500 cartrages are a closed carterage system the tbr conversion is still a open cart set up , the 6500s are the best bang for buck
@@ridingwithtrent i got the 6500 now. they are epic

TI bolts? lol ... Don't need anything along these lines and I like the $ in my wallet and don't turn loose of it very easily...
