Thanks for this deep dive in mawashi-geri! I'm going to add your obstacle drills in my daily practice, appreciate you sharing these.
You're so welcome! We look forward to hearing about your progress with this wonderful, but demanding kick!
Apologies for the appallingly late response - working through the backlog of comments now. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment!
Master class in 30 minutes. Quite amazing really. All the Best!
Ah, so kind! It always amazes me that Ché just walks in front of the camera and teaches off the top of his head like this. That's experience for you ✨
Great teaching, love it and be blessed in Jesus Christ name amen
❤💛❤💛
Great teaching. I will be using this, thank you Sensei Ché.
Always a pleasure, Sensei Nicky!
Great teaching and mentality !!! Many thanks !!!
Thank you so much for your kind words, @ad846! We appreciate the time you took to watch and comment :) We hope you'll stick around for our next video!
I noticed that you are using the upper part of the foot for contact instead of the ball of the foot. I have decided that if I really want to attack or when I can get away with it in training, I will do the same because it is both more difficult and risky for the toes kicking the traditional way. The other side of the coin is there is a risk of injury from the opponent's elbow if the kick is blocked. Overall I would say that I would not use Mawashi Geri unless the situation really warrented or allowed it. I''ve also had quite a lot of kicking experience in Korean martial arts but as an old dog I tend to subscribe to the KISS principle in most things. Great practice tips and mechanics theories though and your way seems both correct, scienticic and logical
Thank you for this truly thoughtful and in-depth comment! I also prefer to use the top of my foot, because toes can crunch like baby carrots lol. I also prefer a solid maegeri, as I'm not a naturally gifted kicker, and due to a hip issue, kicking high is risky for me. Absolutely worth it for those who can, but I think most of us take our chances with the humble mae geri or kansetsu geri.
Thank you for stopping by!
And also develop the other foot to the same level...!!!!! 😂 Difficult because thing is :we are not perfectly symetrical...And also mentally....
Oh, absolutely! My left foot sucks 😅

Is this the fake karate schools?
NO! Quite the opposite. A top Goju school with lifetime lineage to Okinawa. Best instructor I have ever seen in a few decades. If you want to learn a LOT online, this is a great channel to follow. All the Best.
Everything is made with sugar and plastic, even our instructors are made of marzipan and AI 🤣
Thank you for the vote of confidence, @TheMadRazorBack 🤗
