Yes Lorri and THANK YOU! That would not only look lush and green all year long but have a beautiful fragrance in the summer as well. I imagine sitting in my yard and getting a waft of fragrance not knowing where it is coming from. Thank you for your feedback! Liz
New subscriber ❤..love ❤your garden and your decorations.. I also live in zone 9b but with the new zone changes I am now in 10 a..so enjoy your videos 😊
Well hello there Sharon and thank you so much for stopping by. I appreciate your support and I’m so excited to meet you. I did not know the zones changed. Very interesting. I’m always learning something new every day. It sounds like it’s a lot warmer where you live so spring must have already sprung for you. Thank you for taking the time to chat with me. 🥰❤️👍Liz
I adore rain! Especially when all the flowers are shining after it! Your garden is adorable every season of the year! Sometimes I imagine walking through your beautiful flowers, holding a cup of coffee and feeling good! Kisses, kisses! 💋🌻💋💮💋🌹💋
Love your bathtub planter it's beautiful, I have an old thrifted wheel barrel for a planter, love the fact that I can move it around... you're down in the valley where you can garden most of the year with such mild winters, I'm up north of you where we get lots of rain a little frost and snow.
Hello Barbara and thank you for taking the time to comment. So cool that you have an old thrifted barrel for planting! What a TREASURE you found!!! HOW FUN!!! Appreciate you for watching my video and hope you have a beautiful day in your garden too up North. It will be Spring for you before you know it! xoxox Liz
Awwww that is so awesome to hear. I appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and leave me this beautiful comment. I hope you have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.🥰❤️👍Liz
Thank you Andrea. . . I LOVE your description "begging to emerge" I feel the same way and look forward to warmer days and nights so I can emerge outside in my garden!!! hahaha Thanks for stopping by! Liz
Beautiful. I love bottle trees and I love how the bottles are at the gate. I purchased some magnets and I'll super glue nails to it and place colorful bottles all around my metal patio railing.
Oh wow Christine I love your idea using the magnets and gluing them to your metal patio rail. I wish I could see that when you’re all done. Thank you for taking the time to comment.❤️👍🥰Liz
Thanks Liz, I’m glad you posted as I’ve been concerned with your safety after watching the weather news. So glad your garden is happy and looking lush. I vote for a vine to fill in that awkward area. So many choices, the cat claw vine is hardy and a favorite of mine. I love the yellow flowers it produces and mine blooms twice a year. I have cat claw vines growing into my mesquite trees and the yellow flowers sprinkled in the tree are beautiful. I adore amaryllis bulbs (flowers). I purchase several every year and put them in a shaded place after blooming. Mine regrow and bloom every year. I have quite a collection of varieties. They have not rotted, perhaps because we are dryer here. They withstand the cold winter. Thanks for sharing your garden with us.✨🌵✨☔️✨🙏
Hello Barbara and THANK YOU so MUCH for telling me about the cat claw vine. I have NEVER heard of that but it sounds perfect for my "awkward" (as you so kindly put it) area. I am definitely going to check that out! It looks so much like a yellow Carolina jasmine. . . I am intrigued! The storm did not effect my area in a negative way. . . just watered everything real good! Thanks for checking in on me. I appreciate your friendship and gardening advice. (((HUGS))) Liz
Good morning and hello thank you so much for your kind words. I am happy the algorithm. Let you find my channel. Appreciate your support. Thanks again for stopping by. 👍❤️🥰Liz
I was searching for planting Roses . Taking a chance on a few that will be hardy and handle the Dappled sun zones in our Garden .+ Your Videos are fun !
I covered an entire fence with rust. I bought ever cheese grater, tool, or anything else that would rust. My garden is called, Rust Has a Home, so I am always seeking out rust to use as decore.
Oh no Liz anything that is an ivy a green climber it will get everywhere on your property and they're almost impossible to get rid of maybe you could grow a pretty clinging miniature roses their so delicate 🌹 or just paint it really wild anything but the green. Or better yet at the Dollar tree get the stackables and grow like four of them that are 5/6 tears high and grow strawberries all up against that wall or get rain gutters and hook it to the fence and grow blackberries strawberries not the green vine 😢hi this is Lynda
Thank you so much, Lynda I sincerely appreciate your feedback. I really like your ideas (especially the climbing rose) and never even thought of that. I could always put a screen across as well and not even bother with it. Thank you so much again hearing other people’s opinions really helps! 🥰👍❤️Liz
Paint pretty designs on your fence. Love your painting style, so colorful and cheerful! Or more doors? You could put in another narrow space container garden ( sunlight permitting). All your ideas sound good also!😊😊😊😊
Oh boy you are just full of surprises. Aren’t you. Love your ideas Lynda, thank you so much for sharing. Now I’m going to be awake all night. Thinking of them all. Hahaha 🥰🥰🥰Liz
I have one cactus not a whole lot. I got all the horseshoes out in antique shop. They sold them to me for real cheap. And some I found it garage sales.👍🥰🙏Liz
Star jasmine on the wood fence😊
