I think “A man…fuckin’ a horse” is in my top three biggest laughs to a line in this show.
What are the others?
@@shamsham1229 Probably the first time I saw the “Squat Cobbler” scene, and seeing the church website they made to help Huell.
The delivery, oh my good. Grumpy old hillbilly suddenly a turns into a confused grandpa who forgot where he is. I can't get enough of people reacting to it.
Nacho's "You think i'd be caught dead driving that thing? It looks like a school bus for six-year-old pimps" is up there for me
It's interesting how few of the funniest lines are delivered by Bob Odenkirk....
Eric is really onto something about the cinematography of this show. Its the best looking show in tv history and its not even close. The cinematographers and directors are just so damn good, and the show from the top down has such a focus on visual storytelling that allows for all these great shots.
Where in the video does he talk about it?
I'd say Mr Robot beats this in terms of cinematography. It is of course- subjective - but I love both shows and both look amazing.
@@CrazyKeven3000 yeah. BCS definitely has better plot and pacing but Mr Robot’s cinematography is downright incredible
I really hope they’ll watch Mr. Robot soon. It’s one of the best shows ever made and there’s few to no reactions, especially not of this quality. Given these guys attention to everything they watch, it would be the perfect show for them.
idk if we are only talking about cinematogrophy and not plot holes. GOT would still take the cake for me. no matter how bad the last season was. the visuals are fucking amazing
BCS is a rare show that has acting, writing and cinematography all at the highest level.
@@theredeemer1644 Have you even watched the show??
Definitely not
@@theredeemer1644 I sure as heck hope you mean that in a way that's saying that other shows also have that, and not that BCS does not have that
@@theredeemer1644 damn I'm sorry for praising BCS too much
@@theredeemer1644 you're really bad at being a troll
Best show The Blind Wave is reacting to atm.
pretty low bar considering their current lineup
I'll do you one better then. It's the best show in 10 years. Period.
Naruto shippuden tho
@@DarkSayian4 it's up there. "The Expanse" was also a hell of a ride.
EDIT: "Hannibal" is in the conversation.
@@ryuhitsuya21 many people prefer the tone of original naruto but shippuden is good too. can't compare it to stuff like bcs though with how shippuden ends
The crew’s love and appreciation for this show is infectious.
This reaction is acceptable.
Gus was trying to set up his alibi by having Lyle hang behind and clean the fryer, until after Hank had finished the raid.
ah
Correcto mundo! Plus he’s a bit upset cause he has to give up a lot of money. He’s been playing chess game with Lalo and this is the only way he can do it. He put his frustrations to Lyle as well.
Holy crap. I watched this episode like 4 times and never once put that together! I always wondered “WTF Gus…… it’s clean already!” Thanx and nice work!
Gus's OCD comes out when he is under stress....
And he made it less sus by getting Lyle to insist that he stay and clean it again despite gus telling him to go home
40:40 Jimmy quite literally has hit foot in the door in that scene. He needed something shocking to show to that guy, to get him off-balance and then give his pitch. Just so happened that he was able to find the *perfect* image for the job (cuz the horse is a BIG part of MV's logo) lol
Chuck’s final words to Jimmy are what drives him to embrace Saul. Jimmy sees his brother to Howard. So all these antics to Howard are Jimmy’s anger to Chuck. It’s just that he cant hurt him anymore so there’s Howard.
I love Lyle. he's probably one of the most loyal employees that anyone could ever have. ❤
Jimmy's Darkened Silver Suit + Deep Blue shirt + Patterned tie is one of the best Saul Goodman fits of all time lol . Easily in the top 5.
I love the scene at lunch with the similar colored lights
I like when he visits the car wash wearing a fucking clown suit
I don't know why every single reactor thinks Gus actually cares about the fryer and not that he's upset that he forced to give up a $750k drop. He let's Lyle leave after he hears that the drop is collected too.
When Jimmy says that Howard has had a "cleansing moment of clarity", this is the second time he is referencing the movie Network and relating Howard to the main character Howard Beale, a man who has a nervous breakdown after he is threatened to be fired after poor ratings. Jimmy did this before in the first episode of the series, when Howard is introduced.
9:58 Comments like this are exactly why Eric is my favorite TH-cam reactor. He has such high emotional intelligence, he immediately puts himself in the judge’s shoes and imagines how they would deal with Jimmy’s antics and the potential unforeseen benefits or consequences it could do for that person’s life
loving the way the discussion is broken into lil sections
BCS has the best cinematography I've ever seen in a TV Show, and it legit gets better from here. Season 6 is the pinnacle of it imo. I love this show soooo much and am sad that it's over, but I've been watching it since the rumors of a "BB spinoff" were rumored. This is honestly one of if not THE best television show I've ever had the pleasure of watching. I can not wait until they get to season 6 sooo bad!
That stunt with the guy's double was based on a real story that a lawyer told one of the writers. There is a real Saul Goodman out there
I have only ever seen a judge allow it when there is a dispute as to whether the person named in the indictment or complaint is the person in the court room. And it was arranged in advance with the judge's permission.
Spoilers
"Howard has quickly shot up as one of my favorites"
What a way to phrase that
Seriously, is he just accidentally psychic or something?
I don’t mind if Vince Gilligan doesn’t make new bb media but I’m just itchin to see any new shows/movies he comes up with
Incase you haven't realized it, the main logo of Mesa Verde is a man on a horse. So the guy screwing a horse makes a lot more sense.
The lighting and camera work of this show (and BrBa) is second to none. Period. Gilligan and Gould are geniuses with a camera. And your comment Eric about Vince Gilligan worried about being a “one-trick pony” are exactly right. Saul was a great character on BrBa but Gilligan took that character and created one of the best shows in the history of TV out of it.
Peter Gould has done most of Better Call Saul lmao.
I think in bcs we have 3 chaotic characters: Kim(good), Saul(neutral) and Lalo(evil)
"I TRIM MY MOUSTACHE AND PICK MY TEETH" is precisely why Calvin is my fav
The first time i had heard the "a man.. fvckin a horse" line, i had been telling someone about Mr.Hands like 10 minutes beforehand- so that was fun
You guys have the best of analysis/discussion post-reaction 🎉
Hoping they react to sandman. Think eric will definitely like it
And that's where it all begins 😭
i literally thought gus was gonna kill lyle the entire time the first time I watched this ep
Gus would never kill his superior lyle. Lyle has had Gus under his thum since he left Santiago
Three. Three bowling balls, three bells in the store where he bought them for 30 dollars, Namast3. This show is so multi layered. Saul knows Jimmy was never wanted at HHM. This is him trying to symbolically destroy Howard's "peace" or namaste.
Next week is one of my favourite episodes of bcs. Can’t wait.
If Eric already acting this way for Howard oh boy!!!
This might be in my top 5 episodes of the show. So many good moments.
Yiddishisms are great. Loved your Nudnik discovery. I’m so excited for the next episode. Saul and acker together are hysterical 😂
does anyone what scene/timestamp is Eric praising in the discussion portion of the episode?
37:46 Yeah... about that...
Man I'm hoping and praying the boys are able to stay away from S6 spoilers. I made it like two days after the second episode aired and some youtube thumbnail fucking spoilt something for me.
Better Dial Lyle
U think he’s still working at Pollo Hermanos after Gus was expose??
@@mp6640 You mean when Lyle setup Gus to take the fall. Lyle is the true mastermind.
3:49 didn't Tycho Brahe die from holding it too long?
26:20 the hair of Jason and the body of Jesus
I'm stunned you never heard of nudnick!
14:00 if saul said "so...Greek tonight?" Would have been the perfect line
I'm really disappointed we didn't get a Gus backstory show. I would've loved to see his time in Chile and how he got his reputation. How he gets connected to Madrigal. How he gets back in with the Cartel after they kill Max. And how he builds the empire so well (obviously with Madigral backing, but specifically how? Were they just dumping cash into his dumps to inflate his numbers? Or did he use the resources to legimately suprass the Salamanca empire?) The other half could tell Mike's backstory. You could use the common BCS/BB mirror concept, and show Mike building his empire as a corrupt cop, while Gus is building his as the chicken man. But something causes Mike to draw his line and back out, being on the take still, but with lines that Gus doesn't. Until Matty. But I would end Mike's story with his wife telling him she's pregnant. Such a happy, yet tragic ending because you know how that story ends.
Namaste is my favorite ice cream.
Oh man -- I would LOVE to see Blind Wave do reaction to The X-Files. ❤👽🛸
Holy shit Rick's sweat prints lmao
15:12
Don’t do Rick like that we all been there 😂
This and the last episode (I believe), is essentially where Breaking Bad basically starts. Crazy Eight turns into Hank & Gomey's informant but most importantly this is the $700k bust Hank makes just before Walts birthday party in BB s1e1. They see him ( Hank) on the news and Walt asks if that is a "normal bust". It would/could line up in the timeline (as Season 6 is now on its 1/2 season hiatus).
There was a bit of time between Walt & Jesse's 1st encounter, 1st cook, killing of Crazy Eight and Emilio and there 2nd cook, hooking up with Tuco (who I guess would have to get out of jail soon in the BCS timeline) and when Blue Magic was devised and catches Gus's attention. Obviously the lab at the laundry needs completing aswell but alllll that is to say; it would be plausible for this to be the essential "cross over" episode or introduction right. 🤷🏽♀️ any thoughts?
Brace yourself: The second half of Season 6 started July 11 and the series finale aired August 15th. Also, I'm almost positive there's a few years left in the timeline before BB starts, but I can't tell you why without spoilers. But just for starters, Crazy 8 had been an informant for some time before s1e1, and Hank's big bust on tv was a meth *lab*, not just money.
Hey, I know you guys are all having fun, telling your little jokes and all that, but let me tell you something that’s not a joke - Uromysitisis Poisoning. I knew a guy who got stuck in a parking garage and almost got it.
Never dance with the Devil when you don’t know the steps.
He hasn't ruled a Lalo prequel or Kim sequel. Just wouldn't be immediately
30:38 lol
It never really clicked till now but the 3 in Howard's number plate is like the Hindu symbol lol
If I had to put the characters in the alignment chart, it'd probably be something like this:
Lawful Good: Howard, Ernie, Lyle, Gomey
Neutral Good: Kim, Hank
Chaotic Good: Jimmy
Lawful Neutral: Erin
True Neutral: Mike, Nacho
Chaotic Neutral: Saul
Lawful Evil: Chuck
Neutral Evil: Gus
Chaotic Evil: Pretty much all Salamancas
Bob should do quantum leap 🔥
Ayyy
9:08 can you do this in court
13:23 I don't like it when people say "acceptable." Don't know why. Just doesn't feel good enough
I wish pizzagate was just about Papa John's
are your videos monetized?
No.
Your moms videos are
they cant monetize youtube so they have patreon , all reaction channels do, it is illegal to monetize tv show content cuz you know it is copyright infridgement on the rights.
@@MichaelChiklisCares you can monetize short clips
The urination is public if a cop sees you. That's about it.
Werewolf by night reaction??
This comment was how I found out that the first comic series I ever read has a new adaptation.
Jimmy's stunt in the courtroom is totally unrealistic though. In real live he would face contempt charges.
I mean yeah, but they based it on a real story of a lawyer who did the same thing in LA(?). They talked about it on the 5x04 podcast and on the commentary for 3x05
Is based on a real story tho
@Rime Pendragon lol
I think it's a bit believable because it's ruled a mistrial, rather than being some sort of Perry Mason moment where it sways the jury or something.
And the real lawyer faced contempt charges
