I love it when the shows contrast Walt and Hank. Hank is a hard shell with a soft center whereas Walt is a marshmallow exterior with an gradually but increasingly rotten core.
3 years late but even though the first 3 seasons had some touches of comedy here and there, Vince always wanted his show to feel real. That gag would feel like it came out of a The Office episode. Not the tone he wanted for the series, I imagine.
@@rafaelt1772 Well, a random drug dealer pointed out the major flaw in that police tactic and suggested a better and more discreet vehicle, it wouldn't be absurd for him to consider the suggestion and improve the ambush. Nothing like The Office.

I understand what the other guy was saying about it feeling like a joke, because functionally that is what it would be in the script, Badger sets it up and then it would be paid off when it shows up at the end, people's reactions would be to laugh at it.

Thing is breaking bad wasn’t popular when it came out. It was close to getting canceled. But it started getting popular. I finally grew up and knew what the show is about. I remember I was younger I kept seeing breaking bad stuff but I was never interested.
Editors, can you tell these guys that Better Call Saul is a prequel just so it doesn't undermine the tension whenever Saul is in danger? I think it'd be best for them to understand that he could die at some point in the story
Better Caul Saul just recently wrapped season 4 and is working on season 5 now. I dare say it's as good as Breaking Bad, just in a different way (different vibe to the show). I sure hope you all start reacting to it after you finish Breaking Bad! Bob Odenkirk rocks.

I have to agree that I'm liking BCS more than BB at this point. My favorite aspect of BCS is that there is no shaky footage though. BB is pretty tough to rewatch when you realize how unsteady the camera is at all times.
@@kallemort the best way it was explained that I've seen is that the stakes are lower, making the drama and the conflict feel more real. I think BCS benefits a lot from however many years of experience they had show running with BB. But I also love that there can be a five minute scene of a guy staring at a wall and I'm still riveted. 😂

Look, i'm happy your Editor is slowly learning the wonderful thing that is called editing. Editing is a hard task to learn and no one is perfect at it from the get go. I also know you can't show the whole episode, as otherwise you'd get copyrighted into oblivion. But those randomly placed and very sloppy executed fade aways are tremendously distracting. Just cut it out normaly if you still want to include what the guys are saying, if they're at all. Else cut it out entirely. There are a many moments throughout this BB reaction with close ups of the guys doing nothing other than watching.

Breaking Bad is one of those rare examples of a show that actually gets better with every season, instead of worse.
