- Hello friends! Welcome back to my channel. Today, I'm sharing an exciting book haul - my BIGGEST book haul ever. I stumbled on some amazing deals at a local thrift store and my library book sale and was able to get all of these books for less than $25! I picked up some newer books like Finlay Donovan is Killing It and some older cozy mysteries like the Hamish MacBeth Cozy Mystery series, The Hat Shop Mystery Series, and more.

MC Beaton is such a phenomenon here in France. Cosy mysteries are just starting to become popular here and it's largely due to her "Agatha raisin" serie. I've read both her Hamish McBeth and Agatha Raisin serie and recommend them both :)

Amazing haul and wonderful pricing to try some new to you authors. I had to LOL when you said I'm sure snakes are nice...ummm NO they are not nice. I know they are needed to balance things but no just NO...lol Green is my favorite color as well. LOVE the earrings today with your outfit. SUPER cute!! 😀
😂 Snakes aren't my favorite, for sure.... they can stay very far away LOL. Green is incredible! Anything that is a rich jewel tone is immediately appealing to me 💜 Thank you so much!
I love the Hamish MacBeth series! There is so much Scottish village life in the books.

I also enjoyed the couple of JC Eaton books that I have read.

What a great haul! I recently bought a large box of cozies from Ebay and it's been fun to read some stories I might not have picked up otherwise. Also, I love a good deal:) Have so much fun reading!

Nice book haul! The Paws and Claws mystery series is one of my favorites. It's the cozy mystery I'd most like to live in and I even emailed Krista Davis to ask if the location in the cozy was based on a real place. Toured To Death sounds interesting too and I think the author was a writer on Monk the TV series. Monk is one of my favorite TV series of all time so I need to check that one out. A lot of the covers on these books are drawing me in as always with cozies.

I've only read books #1 and #2 of the Hamish Macbeth series, but I really enjoyed them. I've also read a few of the Victoria Thompson and Cleo Coyle books and really liked them, too! And, I did read Cloche and Dagger last year (I think 🙄) and liked it, too - but not enough to continue with the series. 🤷🏼♀ What a score on the Miss Marple collection of short stories! 👍🏻 Great haul! 👏🏻

Awesome book haul! I haven't read M.C. Beaton's Hamish MacBeth series yet, but I love her Agatha Raisin series. I can't wait to hear your thoughts on it! It will help me decide where to put on my tbr. I've also been looking forward to getting into the Alaska Wild series! I've read the first two books in the Susan Henshew series. I really enjoyed book one, but book two was just okay. I still plan to read book 3 to decide if I want continue. The series takes place in the late 80's/early 90's, so some of the references are a bit dated, but I appreciated the nostalgia of it!

I love the Hamish McBeth series. So fun and great! I love the audio, but there is two different narrators. One is fantastic and the other I didn’t like . I’ll try to find out the one I liked. Same goes for the Agatha Raison series

@@bookswithamymarie yes it was frustrating. More so because I was used to the narrators that I started with. Graeme Malcom and Donada Peters are the two I like. Looking forward to seeing your review on the books.

I love the Haunted Bookshop series by Cleo Coyle. Jack is one interesting ghostly sidekick. Also love Lea Wait's needlework series.

Dan Brown wrote a book called Inferno, it is wrapped around Dante's Inferno so maybe he read this book as part of the research for his own?

I just finished "Murder, She Barked" by Krista Davis. Very cute story. Loved it! Word of warning: there seemed to be a bit too many characters, but it was worth the read!
