Absolutely true! Thanks for watching Lu 💜
I’m so glad to have found your channel ….. thanks for such wonderful recommendations….
Thank you so much Susan 💜
I appreciate your collection of books, you did read them
thanks Amy Marie I feel good watching your video
and you seem so friendly
Thank you Jamie! That means a lot 💙
I agree with you on the Bake shop mysteries.
They're so good! 💙
Just finished Trish Plays the Game by Mary Roberts Rinehart. I gave this hysterically funny series of stories a welcome break from daily worries. I laughed and laughed!
That sounds amazing! I need to read more from her 💙
I had an okay reading-wise March. I read 24 books, the best was Society of the Snow. I love cat in the stacks mysteries, I’ve been reading them for years! Love Diesel so much!
Diesel is wonderful1 I hope you have a better reading month in April 💙
You had a great reading month in March! I love The Case for Grace. I also enjoy Lee Strobel. I was curious about Glory Be. I appreciate your honest review and especially mentioning things that others may not want in a mystery. This has helped me realize this one is probably not for me. Mysteries I read in March include: A Palm for Mrs. Pollifax by Dorothy Gilman, Spoon to be Dead by Dana Mentink, To Slip the Bonds of Earth by Amanda Flower and The Lincoln Lawyer by Michael Connelly. My favorite was Spoon to be Dead. Hope your April is going well!
I love the Spoon To Be Dead series! I'm glad the honest review was helpful! 💛
Great sounding books. I have wanted to try Lisa Unger. I will pick that one up for sure. ❤ thank you
I hope you love it Veronica! 💙
You had a great reading month! I mostly focused on Middle Grade March but did read Take The Honey and Run, first book in the Beekeeping series, 4 stars. I also read the first 3 books in the Frost and Crowe series, which is spin off of the Jayne Frost mystery series (which was a spin off of the Nocturne Falls romance series.) The Case for Grace sounds intriguing.
That sounds like a blast! Thank you 💙
Ooooo! I’m trying Cat in the Stacks! 😻
It's so fun! 🐱
I loved Listen for the lie! I'm going to start the Ellie Alexander series this month. 😊
Me too! I hope you love The Bakeshop series 💛
I LOVED LOVED LOVED “Listen For the Lie”
Me too! SOOO good 💜
You are so lovely! You just seem like the kindest soul! I am so happy to have found you!
Thank you so much Kathy! You are really kind 😊
Listen for the Lie sounds amazing too. I like the cover plain and bright 😊 would have been beautiful in hot pink though.
I think it was the lighting in the photo I initially saw 😊 It's such a thrilling read!
As always, I greatly look forward to new videos from you, especially with cozy recommendations. Was very excited to see you share a book by Lee Strobel! I'd love to see more faith based and apologetics based books you happen to read in future videos. 😊
I'll be sure to read them in wrap ups! I really enjoy Lee Strobel's work 💜
I'm so glad you enjoyed your reading in March! I read a lot of enjoyable books in March too. For MMM I read A Pancake House series by Sarah Fox and The Dog Across the Lake by Krista Davis. For MGM I read The Cricket in Times Square and Paddington. I also read a non-fiction Social Sanity in an Insta World. I enjoyed them all! I hope you enjoy all of the books you read in April!
Thank you Cat! I hope you enjoy your April reads too! 💙
I will have to pick up the case for grace. Sounds like it would be a great read. Thanks for sharing that book!
It really is a great read! Thank you 💙
I’m new to cozy mysteries and started Honey Roasted by Cleo Coyle .. it’s a whole coffee house series with recipes included in the books. I would love to know if you have read any , it’s so good so far 💗
I haven't read it yet, but it's on my TBR. I've heard so many amazing things about that series 😊
I have listen for the lie and for once I prefer my British version of the cover. That never usually happens haha xx
Ooh! I just looked it up and it's gorgeous 😊
Amy, im British and i agree with you that it is a different humour over here. I really enjoyed the Ian Moore book but totally get why you maybe wouldnt. Have you tried the Marlow Murder series by Robert Thorogood. British based too but i think you might enjoy that series more.
I haven't read the Marlow Murder series but I definitely want to! Thank you for the recommendation 😊
I also DNF'D death and croissants. I also thought I would love this book. I found myself being bored, only way I can be describe how I felt about this book. ☹ I tried to read Ultra Processed People three different times, I keep drifting (squirrel!), so after the third time I just gave up. Maybe I will try again someday.
If you found the book a little dull, I'd listen to some of the author's talks on TH-cam. He shares the principles really well 😊 It definitely took me a few months and many breaks to get through it.
That's how I felt about Death and Croissants, too! I just couldn't get into it like I wanted.
Amy, do you know whether Death and Croissants by Ian Moore is available on audio? Would like to give it a whirl. Thanks!
It looks like Amazon has it available on audio! 😊
@@bookswithamymarie thanks for looking! Again, I appreciate your channel so much!
I DNF’d Whatever Happened to the Bennetts. I have always liked Lisa Scottoline but this book was just too dark for me. Also I read the Hallie Ephron book (mainly because I thought the author just had to be related to Norah Ephron). It was so-so.
It definitely wasn't my favorite either. Sorry you didn't enjoy either books!
I dnf-ed Careful What You Wish For as well. I thought the main character was a bit of an idiot, and very unbelievable.
I agree! I couldn't believe some of her decisions.
I DNF’ed Death and Croissants. It wasn’t terrible. Just a bit too boring for me to waste my time finishing it.
Agreed! I just wasn't in love with it like I wanted to be 😊
