Thank you for this video, Captain. As a newbie onboard a ship, these procedures and specific parts sometimes slip thru my mind. Very well explained 🙌 I look forward to sail with a well mannered Captain like you in the future.
Another great and helpful video. Can you do a video regarding IMO safety stickers, replacement process etc. because there are no videos on youtube about them. Thanks!
im very need captain like you who will teach people thats dont know about something. not like my captain just judge and angry for who foolish like me . hahahaaha :D i hope god will always give you bless and healthy so you can make another video for teach the other. thanks again captain.
I will try my best, this is a topic that I had to undergo a training day after 5 years having my license. It was nice finding my old notes which were still in effect and pass on my exams.
That red plastic piece will break when the raft is fully inflated and is submerged. It’s strong enough to activate the co2 cylinder but not strong enough to hold an inflated liferaft under water.
@@Georgios_GG If the extreme end of the bow or stern is more than 100 metres from the regular liferaft stowage, an extra 6 man liferaft must be positioned at that end.
Excellent Job Capt Nick

Hope we don't ever need it.
@@nickthesailorman360 Hmmm, I could have used different choice of words: would break in case*
Is there any difference with the forward one?👀 Very well explained captain thank you !!!
Hello yes indeed this one would be of a smaller capacity
Thank you for the response captain.
One more thing , I think there is no any hydrostatic release on the forward one , if it is so ,why is that?
And captain please explain why the smaller capacity?
Thank you in advance!!!
