During a US State Department briefing on Monday, spokesperson Matthew Miller sidestepped a direct comparison between reconstruction efforts in war-torn Ukraine and Gaza.
When pressed on whether Israel should shoulder some of the financial burden for rebuilding Gaza, as western countries have called for Russia to pay for rebuilding Ukraine, the official hinted that other countries would pay for reconstruction efforts in return for Israel agreeing to a two-state solution.

@@vivavasquez I'm not so convinced by comparisons to Dresden. Neither the Ukraine proxy war nor the destruction of the G @ z-a strip are examples of targeting a militarily strategic railroad junction city that contained industrial factories supplying the war effort. That's not to say that the extreme b0mbing of Dresden was necessarily justifiable morally, ethically, and/or legally, but I don't think it's a comparable situation.
@theaconite1400 the comparison of people in Germany looking the other way or supporting the indefensible is very much like the people of Isteal today, blocking the aid trucks in order to murder millions by starvation.

I propose as a minimum Israel contributes $1 million for every life lost and $100,000 for every injured person.
That would come to at current tally $28 Billion for the deaths & & $7 Billion for the injured.
