The Constanzas together is one of the best things that ever happened to television. Every bit it's a classic. I love how Jerry Stiller ties his belt after saying "we have to show these people some taste!"
susan was way too good for george . she had class and was out of his league .

The Costanzas are the single most believable family in television. You often wonder how the children ended up the way they are, given their parents in most shows/movies. But with the Costanzas, the way George is makes perfect sense!

It’s insanely intuitive writing the way Susan and George’s parents have nearly identical personalities and relationships but they handle their aggression completely differently. Susan’s parents are clearly passive aggressive. The costanzas have never been passive about anything in their entire lives.

Jason Alexander, Jerry Stiller and Estelle Harris have got to be the funniest trio in sitcom history.
Fun fact: It you take the first letter from all of their names you get: JESAJH which is the pre-Israeli word for God, that later became JESAJA. Since they are all jews - this is a sign God exists (if you were in doubt).
The Ross’s passive-aggressive back and forth is hysterical.

I have to agree with Frank on this one. They never bothered to serve it. This is a marble rye from Schnitzers not a $2 tray of cupcakes from the supermarket. They don’t grow on trees like fur coats

The thing I've always found hilarious about this scene is how someone can't see their own character traits until they see someone else doing the same thing, George would have 100% taken the bread back if he brought it and they didn't serve it, but since his Father did it, he thinks its insane that he would do that. Best Show Ever.

What's even funnier than this, are the sequence of 'events' that happen when George attempts to secretly return the marble rye. My favorite being when Kramer feeds Rusty the horse Beef-A-Reeno, which causes the horse to have toxic gas.

I can listen to the Costanza's argue and crack up every the time. They had perfect chemistry and the fights they get in are so true for an old married couple.

Wish we would’ve seen more of Mrs. Ross in the series. She was hilarious and a very underrated character. The actress who portrayed her (Grace Zabeiskie) is very talented.

The best part about this is how well George gets along with Susans parents. Despite his feelings about fear of the marriage, it goes to show you how normal George could've turned out.

Brilliant writing and perfect timing from all the actors. Jerry Stiller "took the cake" in this episode.... well, it was bread; but you get what I am saying 😂😂
