About Seinfeld:
Seinfeld stars Jerry Seinfeld as a stand-up comedian whose life in New York City is made even more chaotic by his quirky group of friends who join him in wrestling with life's most perplexing, yet often trivial questions. Often described as "a show about nothing," Seinfeld mines the humor in life's mundane situations like waiting in line, searching for a lost item, or the trials and tribulations of dating. Co-starring are Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Jerry's ex-girlfriend and current platonic pal, Elaine Benes; Jason Alexander as George Costanza, Jerry's neurotic hard-luck best friend; and Michael Richards as Jerry's eccentric neighbor, Kramer.

George's parents are definitely crazier than Jerry's.
No doubt.
Hands down hahaha
I dunno, the wallet incident was pretty insane. And the cadillac lol.
Serenity now! Insanity later
SNEAKERS!!
They couldn’t have done a better job casting George’s parents!!
Well it took them 2 times to get George's dad right. Jerry Stiller replaced some other guy then they re did his scenes with Stiller for when the episodes aired in syndication.
Best mom and dad on TV next is Marie and Frank
Everybody loves Raymond
@@lorenzobrown4465 Walter and Skylar White are just ideal parents though, haha.
Reminds me of my (now deceased) parents !
The actress who played George’s mom was absolutely perfect she truly understood the part 😂
Estelle Harris. She was in a ton of other stuff besides Seinfeld.Kinda like the female Patrick Warburton.
I can't. I can't!!
She was Ms.Potato head in Toy Story
Agree Jerry stiller loved playing her husband

George moving in with Kramer has some definite interesting story possibilities.
Yeh I reckon Kramer and George living together could've been a spin off series in its own right since they were the two most animated characters, just think though george would've been straight man in that scenario, geeeorge lol
If I were George, I would have. Better to stay with a friend who is willing to help you out than back in with your parents.
Would it have really been that bad for George to live with Kramer than live with his crazy parents!
@@ZetaReticuli_ No way, you think Kramer would have been making George plates of bologna sandwiches like that?
@@ZetaReticuli_
The trade off is that, at his parents place, George gets his own room and a comfortable bed. At Kramer's place, George would sleep on the couch and have no privacy.
Of course, the catch 22 is that George and Kramer have a healthy relationship, whereas George's parents are extremely volatile.
To be fair, Frank does have a foot odor problem so taking his shoes off poolside could cause someone to drown from the funk 🤣
Maybe walking around in wet sneakers is CAUSING the foot odor problem. It's a conundrum.
".......Not a giggle, not a chuckle, not a tee-hee. Never went HA." 😁
I love this.
Not even a smirk?

My name is George Costanza. I'm unemployed and I live with my parents.
"I'm Victoria, hi."
Hello pumpkin
I strive to have George's level of confidence.
@@chrisnichols9014 that wasn't confidence. That was George doing the opposite of what he would normally do because everything he has ever done has been wrong.
Loving the profile pic, more power to you!
That moment when Estelle is eating that sandwich, just staring at NOTHING - priceless! :)))
I love that bit too
Hilarious....
"Oh my God...".
😂 not just any sandwich, a bologna sandwich
“A sssssssssilver dollar collection!” 😂 One of the best episodes ever.
😂😂😂😆😆
Maybe some of the best writing of t.v sitcoms all time....(and I'm a black guy, not that comedy doesn't transcend race but this show was on another level)..
The writing and the delivery of the lines by the characters is next level..
The Costanzas I'm trying to imagine them going back to their regular lives after playing each episode they acted in, and how they dissociated themselves from their on screen lives.
I know its acting but they were so real it was surreal.
Loved them, wished there had been more episodes from Queens
The look on his face is priceless 😂
I had some kind of a uhhhhhh phobia
Most of the comedy from Frank is due to the fact Jerry Stiller could never remember his lines😆 that sssssilver dollar thing is him stumbling
How come I, sitting here today in my bedroom in Pakistan, can understand and relate to what George felt in NY in 1990s? How relatable is this show!!!

The writting is just amazing. When George mother asks Jerry to take the sandwiches to see if anyone in the building would like them... that is pure gold people, GOLD!
I feel like that is something a mother would say in real life
My Nan used to do that too. If we didn't have anyone on hand who wanted it, we'd feed it to the foxes that lived near her home.
Food doesn't sate hunger when it's rotting in a sealed plastic bag.

I think Newman would have eaten all those bologna sandwiches if Jerry took them back 🤣
Her "Tell it to the audience" is just perfect. lmao 🤣
To this day im not sure if she breaking the 4th wall or not. Because the line fits perfect for either.
“My father wears his sneakers in the pool”. Game set and match George😂
‘Whaddaya need new sneakas foah?’
It says something that George is willing to suffer through living with his parents again rather than live with Kramer.
I kinda wish they had at least one episode of George living with Kramer 😂
At least his parents had a spare bedroom for him. Where would he sleep at Kramer's place in the hot tub?
@@hymns4ever197 Or on the sofa that looked like a car seat or diner booth.
@@klina7645 I wouldn’t be surprised if Kramer actually stole that from a diner.
@@thelevisullivan Ha ha 😂, yeah, that's definitely something Kramer would do. Or he took it out of the dumpster like he did with the Merv Griffin set.
Can't we just appreciate that it is a nice gesture from his parents to invite him for dinner?
He freeloaded off them for years , being a college graduate, and all you would think he would amount to something 🤔 😅😅
“I don’t know if I’m comfortable handing out bologna sandwiches in the building “. That’s gold Jerry. Gold!! 😂😂😂😂
He should have felt a certain way, bologna sandwiches are what jails(new intakes) and precinct jail cells hand out to new inmates😁😁......
Or what soup kitchens and homeless shelters hand out to homeless people, no regular folk keep bologna in their kitchens(outside of very poor people)
It is !
“I bet that collection, would be worth, a lot of money today…✋”
Love it when he says "I need some air" and "I got a lot of thinking to do." You can just hear the frustration and desperation in his voice. LOL!
How many times did I go out to 'do yard work" which I hate, while visiting my father and stepmother. That line hit home in a not-so-funny way.
He was also doing that circular motion next to his ear, which means, "crazy"! 🤣😂
This episode was loaded with great funny stuff. The puffy shirt. Kramer’s whisper talking girl friend. George became a hand model.
When Jerry leaves the Constanza’s home and closes the door George actually flinches.
HA!!!
He really did😆
Haha, very observant
I felt Geoge's pain when Jerry left. Terrible situation to find yourself in.
Mrs. Constanza is always worrying about who is going to eat all of the unappetizing food she has prepared, whether its paella or bologna sandwiches. Although paella is said by some - well, George - to be a tasty melange of seafood, meat and rice.
Bologna sandwiches can be great if you use quality ingredients. I get my bologna from the deli and bread from the bakery and it's delicious.
Have you ever had Paella?
@@GameyRaccoon Right? Paella can be amazing. I was actually impressed that Estelle knew how to make it. The reason why the Seinfelds didn't want to join the Costanzas for dinner wasn't because paella is "unappetizing," but because the Costanzas are intolerable.
Kramer is a good friend to offer George to move in with him. he didn't even imply he had to help with rent.
ha ha .. how is George gonna help pay the rent ?? he is chronically unemployed
The more time you spend with Kramer, the more services Kramer would ask, the more services you render, the more you'ld be in trouble, that's how Kramer makes people pay ( whatever he helped them first or not ). He's always okay to help, but it's seeing in which his help consists you clearly see it's unfair in comparison of Jerry's help 😆
Except he'd 'owe' Kramer one. Remember, Kramer said he could borrow his car anytime. 5 minutes later, he has a favor for George. That's Kramer.
There are generally two types of parents: Jerry's and Georges's. I wish everybody has Jerry's parents. Mine are George's.
Mine were a mix of George's parents and (Everybody Loves) Raymond's parents.
But it got better. Still alive and kicking!
@@redacted2275 and Maas, May they live long and prosper 🖖
@@redacted2275 Estelle and Marie in one person...I shatter to think at such a possibility :)))

Frankly, my mother made George's mother look like June Cleaver.
100 years from now Seinfeld will still be funny. The writing, the acting... Even the props! No joke. I can name dozens of props that were related to the characters' stories off the top of my head.
It'll also be a beautiful time capsule to the humor and social culture of the time, kind of like Happy Days and Cheers!
Ok do it
Jerry made Estelle laugh when they were all in Jerry's dressing room
George would rather move in with his parents than Kramer lol
Don't even know why tho
@@arbanasialbanesi Lived with his parents before, they have a bigger house, he has his own bedroom there (of course it's his childhood bedroom but still) and rent is free.
Kramer is a friend of a friend, has a much smaller apartment, and would probably make George pay rent.
@@GameyRaccoon I see that now to be reasonable, thx I'm devistatingly gracious 👌🏻
@@GameyRaccoonNo, it's because he's Kramer. That's it. Nothing more needs to be said. ANYONE who's lived with roommates understands this. While living with Kramer, he'd work on a project that's going to save the world at 3 AM. He'd have all kinds of random crazy people over all the time. He'd have a friend whose pet store goes out of business, and Kramer would help him out, so the whole apartment becomes a zoo. Life with Kramer would be way too chaotic for anyone other than Bob Sacamano.
A lot of older couples talk like this. They are carrying on two different conversations.
Nobody on this planet can replace Michael Richards in that role of Cosmo. He is gold. George is the best. Amazing
Truth. We will never see such a unique and special ensemble cast like Seinfeld. A lightning in a bottle.

I have no idea why a spin off of the Costanzas was never put into motion.
I heard Jerry Stiller intended to retire and not act again. Kevin James had to talk him into coming out of retirement for King of Queens. According to James it was an uphill battle.
Jerry and Larry contractually forbade any character spinoffs.
Too much craziness. The only way Seinfeld worked because it was centered around a fairly normal guy surrounded by outrageous characters/friends. It was always centered no matter how crazy it got. A Costanza show would be too much crazy all the time; too much
@@edgregory1 thank god
Spinoffs have rarely been a good idea. like JOEY after Friends, and the absolutely horrible AfterM.A.S.H.. Frasier not too bad because it was in a completely new setting, new plot, new life, new career, new characters and not too much crossover with Cheers.

"There's no way that moving back in with your parents is a sign that your life is right on track."
It happened to me at 44 in 2002. I went upstairs to the bedroom I grew up in , sat down and literally started crying. I felt like George. This episode gets me everytime.
Depends on who owns the house.
The way George prepares his commentary about his mom is amazing.
Parents yikes 😬! Who don't have a good my parents were story. And really who don't like bologna sandwiches? Lol ! Talk about a show about nothing. Hilarious!

It's a bit plain, but it's still food.
I'm more of a chicken and chorizo kinda guy myself.
They are cheap sustenance. You can only eat rice and beans for so many days.

I loved the reaction on George’s face when Kramer offered to move in with him.
I couldn’t believe that George character was a college graduate, that’s pretty impressive for being George.

Living on your own you get to learn and develop what you like and don’t like about your living space.
Moving back home means you’re co-opting someone else’s living space and since both are typically older and set in their ways, it’s an incredible challenge to compromise and find some common ground.
Save your money, learn more skills, and find whatever opportunities you can find to avoid moving back home.
It’s not that easy for everyone though.
