I love that if you focus on Frank from 2:43-2:56 you think he's in distress over George's apparent death but he's just really filling with rage having to sit in front of Mr. Steinbrenner and wanting to vent his frustrations over an unfavorable trade.
That was a REALLY bad trade though...

I just heard Estelle Harris who played George's mom passed away at 93. My condolences to the family. She really gave the world a lot, thank you!

It’s hilarious how Steinbrenner didn’t even notice George taking off his bandage on his head and started walking away 😂
It's a recurring gag that once steinbrenner starts ranting george just leaves the office without him even noticing, dropping the crutches was a nice addition to it, george is so confident steinbrenner isn't taking notice of him any more he doesn't have to keep up the pretence.

This is and always will be my favorite Seinfeld scene. The delivery of Frank yelling at Steinbrenner combined with the premise that his son is dead but he’s upset about Buhner for Phelps is amazing.

When Estelle is genuinely confused when Steinbrenner talks about all the long hours George had been working and that "he's a human dynamo!" "Are you sure you're talking about GEORGE?"
You could tell Mr. Costanza was warming up to berate Steinbrenner for trading Jay Buhner. Like he had been saving it and was waiting to use it, obviously no matter the occasion.
Frank has been waiting for that moment and he wasn't going to pass it up.

They really made Steinbrenner look good through most of this episode. Not only was he genuinely concerned for George, he personally went to inform his parents. What other mega rich boss would do that for one of their low level employees?

Having been a super busy mom and gram the past 38 years, I missed out on so many funny hit shows, including Seinfeld. Last week I hurt my back and have been bingewatching. I've laughed out loud more times than I can count.

Heating pads and prayer got me through the pain, and the "toasta cheeses" and dishes of vanilla bean ice cream, the only foods which appealed to me, left me ten pounds lighter. I'm now back at the gym nightly with husband. Thanks for asking.

It's funny how Frank cares more about George Steinbrenner's decisions about the players instead of his son's well-being.
Frank has accepted the kind of man his son is and is at peace with whatever fate George is dealt with. Lol
Until the 1996 season, all of Steinbrenner's decisions deserved scrutiny. Frank had his chance to express his feelings, and he didn't waste it.
