@greatcanadian So it wasn’t working at all. However, I figured it out. For anyone looking to use this generator to power your travel trailer, you MUST turn off your 12v battery and then connect to the generator. Simple troubleshoot and I’m grateful
That's true but we ran the furnace to heat the trailer up to 80f before to get the AC running.... good idea tho, maybe we'll do the same test again now that the warmer weather is here! Thanks
To be honest I personally haven't tried but I have no doubt I will this winter. These were new to the market just last year. Onan is a solid brand I would think they would get it right....we have sold 98 of these units to date and not one has returned for service which is pretty impressive!
Thanks for the reply I’d like to use a synthetic 5w-30 oil this winter but onamax oil doesn’t offer it and I don’t know if it would affect the generator or the warranty if I used a synthetic oil for the winter

thanks for the info, not sure AC on in Canada during February would be a full load for the gennie but still good info.

I tried to turn on my AC and it’s not working… any tips?
@@leonardmary07 what's it doing or not doing? Is there power to the rest of the unit?
Do these generators have many problems with starting in cold weather such as -10 degrees
