Your creativity is an adrenaline rush to me! My style is more English floral garden so there aren't any skulls or cheeseburger pizzas around. BUT, I love love love watching you create! And it jazzes me up ... and now I've got to create something, too! Well done, Dave, for inspiring us all no matter what our style!
You have the coolest imagination, the coolest quilts, the coolest fabrics, the coolest embellishments, the coolest tools, the coolest TH-cam channel, the coolest mom, the coolest humor, the coolest haircut, the coolest mustache, the coolest flannel. I want you to change your channel name to Cool Dave's Craft Room! 😎 I love your channel!!!!
I so admire how you don't collect all the Uber specific tools and rulers, you just do what you want with what you have. Using scissors instead of an add-a-quarter ruler is just so sensible. Thanks for the inspiration to just create, Dave.
You are my drug of choice to get through this scary election night and thank you so much for being there! I may need to make a blue wave quilt with cats, hopefully as a celebration
As a mother, and now a grandmother, my first thought was how much FUN this quilt is. It would make a great special quilt to use when a child is sick. The child would enjoy looking at all the different fabrics and patterns of the blocks. And he would (I hope) feel the love that went into making it. Wow. I have never done paper piecing, but now I am intrigued. Thanks for your inspiring video. I never thought of fussy cutting with paper piecing.
It's sew nice to watch a quilt artist create without quiltsplaining every little thing they do in their video. Thanks for sharing your creative mind with us.
I always look forward to your fortnightly visits. The adrenalin you create making all yours blocks is so inspiring. Love the Elephant 🐘 trying to escape 🥰
Hi, Dave. Please don't feel like you have to finish a quilt every two weeks! We'd be more than happy to watch a quilt made over a couple episodes! No stress. I adore your creative process. ❤
Some of those pairs were excellent examples of how colour/value placement changes perception of the basic design, like I didn’t realise the two Square Dance until I saw the plan beside both blocks. You’re right about Hairdresser Law too 😂
The 1,000 Blocks book is a great resource! Great use case for a thermal printer. Your FPP sampler quilt turned out terrific! Wonderful color and so many unexpected elements. 👏👏👏
Out of the gate you grabbed my attention " we are going to Foundation paper piece the house down' lol you are so entertaining and uplifting to watch!!! Thank you for the great content
Hi! I think I will give paper piecing another try. It is not my favorite technique but your videos encourage me to give it another chance. Your haircut is fine…I think the mustache helps. Love your videos, Dave!
Obviously my fav block is the pickles…at the end of the day!🥰 other favs include “dashing geese” and the pandas. Thanks for the non-tutorial but mostly thanks for the inspiration-great quilt!❤👍🏻
I love the spotty fabric that you used around the peace-sign-hand - amaze-balls. Also, your barber giving you the "chop-tina" LMAO funny term, not such a funny result for you though. As you say it'll grow out! Thanks for sharing. Thermal roll printers remind me of old fax machines, thanks for sharing your 'Davitizing' of another awesome project.
Dave, you always inspire me to be more brave with my crafting and not listen to the traditional quilting "wisdom" about how colorful or busy a quilt should be. ❤
First, your hair is awesome. Second, "at the end of the day it has pickles in it and that is what is really important. " Love it! You should have a book of Dave quotes. My favorite it "Yes, I surely do dare." From your double wedding ring video. I am going to quilt a wall hangingn with that quote and hang it in my sewing room. We all should surely do dare. 😊
It's "Daveitizing" one of the things that makes your stuff unique, and one of the reasons I keep coming back to see what you're up to ova heeeerrrraaaaa😂❤ love it!
Thanks for another inspiring quilt video 😊 It maybe super boring for you to do, but I’d love if you made quick tutorials to help us newbies with the super duper basic stuff…you’ve already got us all so inspired!
Love the pickles!! Another killer quilt. The time has come to make a Dave’s craft room folder on my iPad for inspiration of pics of your quilts and blocks!
Brilliant! Another Masterpiece!! Your talent is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your gift with us. It brings us so much joy!! Sending good vibes and much love your way! You are a treasure!!
Wow! Your quit is beautiful I love how the appliques makes your quilts look very special. I always make a trip to a Public Library when I want to make copies. However, when I want to make 100 or more copies, I go to the local print shop and get them to do the printing for me (because their equipment is very fast and makes better quality copies). When I need only one copy from the original, I trace the original using a window, sunlight, cheap copy paper, and a pencil. I always keep a copy of the original pattern (in case I, or someone else, wants to use it again). Your hair cut is one of the reasons I went back to cutting my own hair. My home cut hair may not look perfect; but, too many of the so called professional hair cuts (I paid for) didn't look perfect either. Thank goodness, our hair grows.
You always go the extra mile and that makes your work so special. Congratulations for another spectacular project. And also thanks for showing the thermal printer. Very nice. ❤
Another brilliant creation - I love how you take a ‘standard’ block and make it your own with such cool fabrics and the embellishments are off the chart. Thank you !
I took the liberty of naming one of your blocks. "Walmart Zombie" on first glance looked like a bored Walmart employee wearing the blue vest with a black t-shirt. I love the burger pizza and the elephant applique. Keep rocking your creative genious!
Stunning! I love it! Who wouldn’t? It has pickles in it! 😂 You’re so talented and entertaining. I look forward to your videos every other Tuesday. You never cease to amaze me! Thanks Dave!!! ❤❤❤
Another amazing, original quilt. I so admire how you embrace technology and try new things; that is not me at all. I still just sit with a scissors and needle and thread. The way you choose fabrics is always interesting too.
Love this quilt. I just started working on busting my scrap pile with fpp so it’s perfect timing. Now I’m motivated to continue working on my quilt after looking at your wonderful awe inspiring quilt. 😊
I found your channel because of the card weaving video but I am obsessed with your videos. I sew but not much of a quilter however your projects are terrific and super creative. You had me at “cheeseburger pizza”. 🤣
Frantic violins perfect with this one. The wheels turning in your head must match the sound. ))) Makes me dizzy. The stuffing is thin enough to see through. That must make it easier to quilt by machine. .. can't imagine doing this with thick fluff. Amazing every time I watch you work !!!
Been watch videos, here and there, along the way. I’m an older, traditional quilter, so..love everything you do, but would I choose your fabric colors and designs..no. That doesn’t matter if a video pops up, do I watch..yes😂 When watching, my most often thought is , he is on the floor again! Oh, my😯 I got me a ping pong table to use for sandwiching quilt tops. Works like a charm. Husband doesn’t like it being I garage all folded up, waiting till I need it again. When I do need in I roll in into my sunroom where there is heat and air. Thought I’d share my discovery with you and others. (KH)

You make things so much FUN! Thank goodness you have no "off switch".

Another stunning quilt that belongs in a show
I love that you are fearless and willing to try anything.
I think that quilt is art, Dave. Well done again 👍🏻
I enjoy your channel very much. Always interesting content. Thank you for sharing your artistry .
Dave you are the Salvator Dali of quilting blocks. Your amazing🤗🤗🤗🤗
I always look forward to your fortnightly visits. The adrenalin you create making all yours blocks is so inspiring. Love the Elephant 🐘 trying to escape 🥰
I love the black sashing. I know sashing isn’t really your thing but it makes all of these blocks POP!
Hi, Dave. Please don't feel like you have to finish a quilt every two weeks! We'd be more than happy to watch a quilt made over a couple episodes! No stress. I adore your creative process. ❤
Haha I do this because I like doing it 😅
@@davescraftroom I wish I could bang out a quilt a week, but I have the attention span of a squirrel.😂
Every time I watch you make a quilt, I think the colours you're using will never work together, and you always prove me wrong!
I am always amazed that what seems to be chaos becomes beauty
I just ordered that printer and in today’s special on Amazon they have $30 off
Burger pizza!!
A sampler quilt that showcases your tremendous skills. Wonderful.
Some of those pairs were excellent examples of how colour/value placement changes perception of the basic design, like I didn’t realise the two Square Dance until I saw the plan beside both blocks. You’re right about Hairdresser Law too 😂
Dave; you are really creative weird art quilt ; it’s fun
I absolutely love your videos Dave, thank you for sharing ❤ Great haircut BTW
Thank you so much for reminding me that I can put patches and whatever I want on a quilt! It doesn't have to be traditional to be lovely!!!
You said it, "Stunning," and it absolutely is 🎉.
I love your funky color sense, so good!
...and the hair looks just fine...
Thanks for having us in Dave's craft room!

Love it, Dave! Love how you are not intimidated with rules - why not cheeseburger pizza! I also like your haircut!
Watching you quilt is mesmerising! This one felt like ‘tripping’! Thanks for a great trip!
Please keep this one. It is a work of art and very special.

Love the pickles!! Another killer quilt. The time has come to make a Dave’s craft room folder on my iPad for inspiration of pics of your quilts and blocks!
Oh, Dave! I am just awed by your creativity. I love your use of color, I love your boldness. I want to make this quilt!❤
That's a proper payday haircut - you got your money's worth. 😄
My favorite SO FAR!!! You have DAVE-I-FIED this beautifully!!!
Always love your videos, they make me think of 'I Spy' quilts
You are so refreshing and adventurous love your content
If I was going to do paper piecing that gadget would definitely be handy!
I love this quilt too. It's so fun.
Brilliant! Another Masterpiece!! Your talent is amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your gift with us. It brings us so much joy!! Sending good vibes and much love your way! You are a treasure!!
AND your music selection was, as always fantastic!

Loved the video, especially the embellishments! But now I must have that book😊
Yes it is stunning. It looks like a stained glass window.
Great job Dave, I really enjoy seeing your work!
I love sampler quilts and I love the way you done your version of this one! Love watching your videos! Thanks
I took the liberty of naming one of your blocks. "Walmart Zombie" on first glance looked like a bored Walmart employee wearing the blue vest with a black t-shirt. I love the burger pizza and the elephant applique. Keep rocking your creative genious!
My 14 year old granddaughter would just love the ghoulish blocks.
Great! I absolutely love your work.
Stunning! I love it! Who wouldn’t? It has pickles in it! 😂 You’re so talented and entertaining. I look forward to your videos every other Tuesday. You never cease to amaze me! Thanks Dave!!! ❤❤❤
Me too, I wait with baited breath!❤❤❤😊😊😊
Honestly, you are so inspiring. Thank you.
Your first two blocks are stunning.
Dave's response to possible negative comments about a bad haircut....'anything else is illegal'. Love it.
One of my favorites of yours!
You r techie but a real minimalist on all the new tools. I love that about you! Your quilts R great and you make me laugh and smile in a good way.
Magnificent!
Wow, you sew it to the back of the paper. So clever!
Another winner. Thanks Dave.
Stunning is an understatement. Wow. Such talent with design and colors
I like the close cropped army fade look of your haircut😊.
Such a different sampler quilt, stunning!
Another amazing, original quilt. I so admire how you embrace technology and try new things; that is not me at all. I still just sit with a scissors and needle and thread. The way you choose fabrics is always interesting too.
Deine Quilts faszinieren mich immer wieder, nicht nur wegen der Stoffauswahl...
Soooo phantasievoll 👍🏻
Danke fürs Zeigen...
Danke ☺️😜
Elephant 🐘block was my favorite. another awesome quilt 👏
Love this quilt. I just started working on busting my scrap pile with fpp so it’s perfect timing. Now I’m motivated to continue working on my quilt after looking at your wonderful awe inspiring quilt. 😊

Nice hair by the way. High and Tight! Aloha
I found your channel because of the card weaving video but I am obsessed with your videos. I sew but not much of a quilter however your projects are terrific and super creative. You had me at “cheeseburger pizza”. 🤣
Thank you for another inspiring video. Your style is predictably, unpredictable. I VP mean that in the best of ways.
Another amazing, brilliant work of art Dave!
Hi Dave, you’re very very good. You should teach your method for FPP. You’re excellent and I love your music.
One of my favourites and quite right you are proud. Great combination of colours and Daveitisation
Sorry I didn’t mean to post yet. Always after seeing your latest video, I can’t wait to create!
