Ok so not only am I American but i also cant handle spicy at all. I was looking for a cheese 떡붂이 to cut the spice a bit to help build my tolerance. This is the trick! Its spicy but bearable for someone like me and it tastes so good! Thank you for this recipe!
I'd love to learn a flavorful version of this that isn't Spicy. I absolutely ADORE spicy food but I have stomach ulcers and even too much pepper can leave me in pain for hours.

I don't really know if chicken stock would make a major difference but other than that..had all the ingredients but that... literally the same brand too

Maybe replace the red pepper flakes for something else?
I think you can replace it with tomato sauce. Keeping soy sauce and all other ingredients should still make it taste good :)

Korean food isn’t spicy it’s more sweet than anything. It’s just the color.
