I liked the SLOC, I ordered the SS version Yaqi Mellon and used the Razorock handle. I'm interested in the Lupo might pick one up eventually or the Hawk SE razor
The Lupo is an interesting razor for me. The more I use it the more I get along with it and like it more. At the beginning I didn't have the best shaves with it, happy that I didn't give up on it.
I was also very curious about both of these with their unique head designs. I have few shaves with the Lupo and still can't decide if I actually like it. Soon I'll do a first shave review with the SLOC, curious to see how the double open comb feels.

@@ColletteClassic the first 2 passes on the last video were good. But the third one wasn't so good 😅 It's all on my technique, I don't blame the tool. Had two good shaves with it after the first one. The video I'll add tomorrow is with my third shave with the Lupo. There's just something that feels not as good as my other razors and I don't feel as confident using it yet. It's hard to explain, but I can't deny that it shaves well with decent efficiency.
@@ShaveAndTell I hear you there! It’s almost always the archer not the arrow, but some archers find some arrows easier to shoot than others. You mentioned that the head is so narrow that it has you being timid while using it. Do you think that’s particular to the lupo, or do you find it similar with the gamechanger or any other thin profile razor?
@@ColletteClassic Haven't tried the GC yet, it's another RazoRock razor that I'm curious to try in the future. But I suspect that it's the thin profile and the geometry of the top cap. the GC seems similar to the other thin profile razors that I have, there's good curve with enough surface that touches the skin when you find the angle. With Lupo, that surface is mostly the edge of the top cap. Probably that's what makes the difference in the feel. My second shave with the Lupo was with 0 feedback from the alum - absolutely nothing after 3 passes. Can't recall getting the same alum result with any other razor, including the Henson.
