+HalleyHaywirez Well gothic is in of itself classic. Classic is gothic without the black.
Gothic aesthetics often involve elements of the macabre. Classic and gothic are both more likely to have more historical costume inspirations than sweet but gothic is NOT classic in black. This dress is more sweet than anything.

I just want to say I'm addicted to listening to this song and after so many times watching this film,over and over again,a story came to mind.
The girl in the pink/turquoise dress is all free and giddy in the real world getting all the pleasures in life. While the other in the darker dress is in another realm trapped and alone. So she sings hoping someone could hear her while the other watches and listens through the mirror. She use to be trapped just like her but refuses to trade back places.

***** Haenuli tends to have dresses that fit even "larger" girls (large for japan sizing anyway) because many of their dresses have shirring. I'm not skinny, and even I can fit ^^ don't rule yourself out!
