      Yes! I can relate to what you said completely.
      Over 9 years ago I went Vegan. After watching Freelee's videos I was an instant hell no to all animal products & haven't touched them since. I was already always a huge animal lover & never a fan of meat, but she truly made it click.
      Then she went on the more fruitarian/raw based lifestyle & once again it made it click even more for me why I was feeling called to reduce cooked foods as well. The simpler I eat the healthier I feel. Right now I'm eating alllllll the watermelon.

    Just changing my breakfast to only fruit made a HUGE difference. I am less hungry at lunch & dinner and I swear the bloating in my stomach has pretty much all gone -and the constipation is not an issue anymore. I am slowly transitioning my lunch into all fruit as well and I will have one cooked dinner so raw until 4 , however just replacing breakfast with fruit is a huge changer. I am so shocked!! as I didnt think just replacing one meal with just fruit would make a difference, boy am I wrong! Please everyone, just replace one meal with fruit only and you will see some benefits and slowly go from there.(Just make sure to get enough calories in as fruit is low calorie, i tend to get 500-600 calories in fruit kiwi,banana,berries etc) Thank you freelee!!!

    Maybe Dr Now puts them on the 1200 starvation diet so they get used to how little they will be able to eat once they've had surgery? I've spoke to someone who had bariatric surgery who was vegan and ended up having to eat eggs to get enough protein in. Best idea would be to eat a diet of abundance (Raw Till 4) and lose the weight that way instead of surgery.

However, having been in the plus size clothing retail business, I have seen the good bad and ugly of this procedure. Some of my customers were successful, some passed away, but most were not, down the road they regained. My thoughts are 'what's wrong with your stomach? It's your head that needs changing'.

  • @CocoS-xr3fo

    ive known about this show for a while and have also wondered about dr now's 1200 calorie diet he gives. from what ive gathered, it isnt meant to be a "lifestyle change" but rather a life-saving intervention that works FAST these people actually NEED it; any day can be your last when you're at their weight. because of that, they need to drop the weight quickly and get that surgery ASAP to save their life. in comparison, someone who is maybe 50lbs overweight doesnt need weight loss surgery or a "starvation" diet; they will benefit greatly from a lifestyle change (raw til 4 for example!) and lose weight gradually over months/years. they are basically not at a high risk of dying the next day unlike the bariatric patients we see on this show. basically, being just overweight isnt worth the risks that come with getting weight loss surgery (lifestyle change for healthy weightloss is best). but being extremely morbidly obese (these 600lb+ people on the show in particular), they are already at MAJOR risk in their current state every single day, therefore, the surgery's pros outweigh the cons (and the faster, the better). also going back to the "prescribed" 1200 calorie diet, it has PLENTY margin-for-error because these people are most likely not going to eat that little with their binge-eating disorders, but if they try to follow it and eat even 1000 calories above that, they will still lose weight over time (and hopefully learn discipline in their eating habits over time). but i believe once they get that surgery, thats when they have to start changing their lifestyles for long term health and healthy weight maintenance! sorry for typing lots haha i do love this show and love all your reactions to it! ♡

  • @BobbieFL
    @BobbieFL 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    They have to eat small portions after the surgery that is another reason they suggest high protein low carb so they can get most protein in tiny portion . I myself don’t like these surgeries. If it saves ppl ok but most times ppl gain it back . If yiu can do it you Dan do it without surgery . These ppl will eat till their tiny stomach explodes or eat tiny 100 times aday because rheu have an addiction
