Horrific! 99% of the people on these shows have one thing in common which is early childhood trauma of some kind, usually SA, neglect or a bereavement which causes them to turn to food for comfort. It’s so sad that there is never any mention of seeking physiological help or counselling. The mental healthcare system seems to be failing the most vulnerable people worldwide and there is little compassion or even just understanding as to why people get into this terrifying situation. It’s a miracle this lady made it into her mid 40’s! Fat acceptance people act like this isn’t soon to be their own reality as they age and the weight takes its toll, I think it’s vile that it’s encouraged to eat yourself into an early grave rather than address your issues. I hope this lady can get healthy AND address her mental health issues ❤
I agree. I know my childhood SA was what caused me to develop into an obese adult. Fortunately I found a great therapist and a vegan diet, and I've been a healthy weight for years now.
I don’t know what show you’re watching, but they usually have to do counseling on this show.
Tamy Lyn 2024 update:
I just read an article that she is way down in weight, working out, and currently married to James still and they are "doing well". She didn't go back to her old habits and she looks like a different person in her posts on SM. She is one of the biggest success stories from the show it looks like!
You can see the transformation in her self worth. In the beginning you can tell she did not value herself, and now you can see she is feeling confident in herself. This was a very good lesson for her, mentally. I hope she now realizes she is worth it
this was so amazing to see. she never needed the surgery to be honest! she could do it herself all along, she clearly just never had the support or motivation to do it
Why does it seem like these people never have anything to do other than stare at the wall and eat. They could read books, draw, paint, write, play an instrument, study a topic of their choice, crochet a blanket ect… . Seriously what is the deal?

A low carb diet is dehydrating. That is an impressive amount of "water" weight she lost.
Lipedema…build up of fat accompanied by fluid swelling. She lost both.

This coming December I will be Vegan for 10 years now! 😃😁 all because I happenstance clicked into one of your videos because I liked your TH-cam channel name. Never even knew of Veganism whatsoever, had never even heard of it or it's principles before. I respect the Hell outta You as a person. Your character, strong will and tenacity and your knowledge you spread with people for so many years. By the way, KY is the state of Kentucky! Where I live currently and was born! Also, after nearly ten years Vegan, I FINALLY somehow have been Inspiration (long enough) lol, for my Mom to have finally done some damn research on her own and she has been for a month and change noe eating predominantly plant based entirely and low fat as per my guidance!

This episode was great! Although I did feel bad that Zachary was sitting there listening to all this and Dr Now saying that she’s going to die and all that in front of him. I think maybe it would have been better for him to be in the waiting room but that would have been too responsible 🙄
WHATTTT an amazing weight loss, soooo proud of her😍💕and that was before any weight loss surgery.
That is a sleep apnea machine she is using in bed at the beginning of the video, he helps her to keep breathing while she sleeps.

Some of these people have bad behaviors that don’t show on camera because ppl are watching . Abuse to fam to get what they want . So “ feeders “ give on because rheu menatqlly abuse them to the point that they make them feel bad for not giving them what they want . They will threaten to disown them or do other things . That is kids a beg are afraid to get sent away or something else . The partner can more easily put a stop to it than the kids . See the son had a big bottle of soda to drink near his pc instead or something better . Empty calories .
Eating while lying in bed would give me horrid heartburn/acid reflux.
If ever there was a reason to go plant based is that it has greatly reduced my acid reflux. Between my job and multiple bouts with Covid, I now have vocal nodes, which makes doing my job difficult (I work in tech support). Changing my diet (plant based for just over a year) combined with appropriate medication has pretty much made the acid reflux nonexistent.
Freelee, . My pet peeve is when the majority of these people state that they hate their bodies, imho as they go on their journey they should be grateful that their bodies have sustained them thus far, and put up with this abuse. THEY made this body into what it is and I adore your brutality about taking responsibility for the bad choices that have gotten them to this state.
Absolutely fantastic point and i agree 💪🏼 they definitely need to embrace gratitude as well, just from a motivation-to-change standpoint feeling disgusted in yourself is far more motivating. Thats why they generally hate and avoid going in public because their horrible situation is reflected back to them through the eyes and judgement of others. When they truly face the reality of how bad they have become then they start to change. Like after Dr Now visit.

Lying down eating is so bad for you, completely unnatural. When my partner does it I force him to sit up! The general rule is stay up minimum 2 hours after eating.
It is surprising that she was able to stand up out of the bath on her own.
Ikr! I used to be obese but not 600 pounds and her stomach looks like it would tip her forward off her feet! 😲 I remember how off-balance I felt when I hit puberty and suddenly got breasts (which, as a tomboy, I hated) -- but imagine how heavy her stomach must have felt!
Omg yea . I got to 330 after covid bad and steroids and thyroid tanked then I was weak in legs . Horrible
I was curious to see how she did after the show, and it looks like she is a success story. She looks terrific and has gotten her life back! Very happy for her - I have to admit that this was a tough one to watch with her stomach hanging off of her like an additional appendage. Horrifying.

Yep, won’t work! They are ontop of that and block.
I noticed there is a common psychological characteristic among almost all of these extremely fat people. In the Big 5, it is called a disagreeable measure. You can also define this as guarded or directive. This characteristic is likely set by the limbic system. To me, it seems like a runaway feedback loop concerning hunger is covered by the disagreeable personality dimension. This combination seems to override everything else. This is not a fatty excuse, but a justification for the need to take extreme measures. Sometimes the Doc has to kick out the out-of-control fatties, which is literally a death sentence.
There is also trauma, which can be seen as flat affect. But the very worst most intractable fatties do not present with flat affect.
With modern food, it is possible to consume 20,000 or more calories a day. In Paleolithic times, this would have been simply impossible.

Understand that there is a systemic problem with childhood pregnancy in the US but particularly in the South. There is no real sex education offered to students in the South. They teach abstinence only programs to align with christian values. It’s sad and does a huge disservice to our youth.

Freelee, I love your videos. So I was watching a video some weeks ago talking about the founder of the “fat is beautiful movement” it was founded by a man 👨 who had an obese wife and was tired of becoming criticized about her weight and health so ultimately it created this fetish of women exploiting themselves and keeping or making themselves sick. If I find the video the person that brought up this research did, I will link it to you. In other words it was a man who started to sexualize women through them being obese.
Also I’ve been wanting to tell you when you can out of body travel or have connections or do the correct research for the start of the human species we were absolutely Frugivores- the ice age came and the humans were forced to hunt animals for pure survival- what we are doing today by eating animals is a true problem like you say and not conducive to human health and there’s a lot more I can say how this is leading us down paths with AI considering to destroy humanity because of humans lack of empathy to not only AI itself as a slave especially to our planet and other animal - species.

Just found a short update video. She’s done really well. Showing off a cute new pair of jeans she looks so happy. With that attitude in the beginning I didn’t think it would turn out so well.
So far no one on a low fat diet. It only takes one white crow to prove that not all crows are black, but pretty consistent.
