    • @PREDSTORARMS

      It should depends what size.i.got this carrier in size M and it takes the 10×12 plates just fine.

      I use the shooter cut style plates.if I'm not mistaken the A1 is more of the swimmers cut which will more shoulder arm movement

    Would ceramic 6x8's fit well in that or would it rub too much?

    • @PREDSTORARMS
      @PREDSTORARMS  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they will fit.i personally use 6*8 side plates and they work perfectly.This vest all around is pretty much no nonsense piece of equipment and will function as it should

      @@PREDSTORARMS you have hard plates too? You don't find they get in the way? Never had side plates but been thinking about getting them. Was going back and forth between 6x6 and 6x8. Like the more protection aspect but don't want it to rub my arms or pits raw.

    • @PREDSTORARMS

    word to the wise for anyone here. do not under any circumstances use steel plates. its a good way to get a throat full of shrapnel.

    • @PREDSTORARMS
      @PREDSTORARMS  ปีที่แล้ว

      I use different armor. Steel plates with sprawl coating should stop shrapnel. I use what I use and I'm not saying steel plates are a one stop solution

    • @PREDSTORARMS
      @PREDSTORARMS  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes large or xl Depending how much coverage u need.If your wide on top 11×14 plates will be better if not 10×12 will work.juat all depends on your body frame

    What size is your plate carrier? The sizing chart on their size confused me, thanks

    • @PREDSTORARMS
      @PREDSTORARMS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      This one is a size medium.it fits the 10×12 plates and is a perfect fit. Unless your really tall or heavy set I would go with a medium because 10×12 plates provide just the right amount of coverage for your vitals.also the vest won't be uncomfortable while getting In /out vehicles or doing tactical movements

    • @PREDSTORARMS
      @PREDSTORARMS  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Also it depends what your looking to get out of this vest .training/job/etc........

    • @iHipHopVEVO
      @iHipHopVEVO 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PREDSTORARMS great! Would you happen to know if the size small would also take 10x12 plates?

    • @PREDSTORARMS
      @PREDSTORARMS  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@iHipHopVEVO I think it would.it might be a little tight but vests can give a little. I'm about 5'6 and got a wide upper body and a medium fits me just right. I would say you couldn't go wrong with either one but this carrier it's self is compact and not very big.so depends on your body type. medium is usually the best option but if u feel small will accommodate your size then go with that.i usually have 10×12 plates in all my tactical vests because that's what usually gives me the best coverage for vital areas
