That way I can put everything I bought at the PX on my kit and not use shopping bags when I take the bus back to my trailer after I ate a four course meal at the dining facility. When I would get back to my chu I would take pictures in my immaculate kit with my M16 and post pictures on MySpace so my friends back home thought I actually did something for a living other than eat surf and turf and collect a pay check tax free.
Great information what about a grid down situation, what type of setup do you suggest especially in the city where you need to move around to gather supplies.
GHOST I hate that ifak so much, if it remotely snags on anything, all your shit gets yard sale all over the place. The place of the first aid kit differs from unit to unit. That "back of the plate" position may be only good for spec ops since they would have multiple people to help each other all the time. If you only have yourself or inexperienced friends for company, having an ifak in your backpack or in front of the vest would be a better idea.

@@fuckingpippaman It all comes with the territory. I did it for 4 deployments. Jumping on and off my Tank and M1165 Hummer. As a part of the breaching team I carried extra. not once did I complain. Discipline is the key to success in the military.
@@Pentazemin44 . Exactly. They teach you discipline and the basic know hows to start your career. I gained weight and weighed about 225 on all 4 of my deployments. carrying that stuff did a toll on my body but not once did I ever complain. even went as far as carrying 1200 round of 7.62 in my assault bag and lugged my M240B around on dismounted patrol. I never wanted a partner to lug my shit around.
Kid I grew up with, his father jumped a BAR in WWIi. Supposed to be a two man crew, second guy humps the ammo. His died on day 1 of the war. He did the full ride solo, carrying rifle and ammo. STUD.
Keep it light
Keep it simple
Think in your mission
Think in you job in the team
And run an empty pistol mag ‘just in case’ 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
If you want to test out your gear, hit your local airsoft field for the day. You'll learn real quick how you want to set things up!
completely agree, made a few adjustments to my kit and removed a lot of fluff.
I can't even count amount of times I've used airsoft to test and adjust pouch placement!, Sometimes it looks silly but it does help!
I've heard Travis Haley suggest that, and his son, Garand Thumb, suggest that you straight up go camping with your kit on. Both seem like really good ideas.
hard yes. ive seen so many dudes that served fumble through their shit when small bb's are hitting the wall next to them, can only imagine how they wouldve acted if they ever got shot at for real.. but airsoft is super fun.
Couldn't agree more dude. I went to an outdoor game with a LOT of kit on, in 30C weather and less than half way through I was down to weating just a battle belt, boots and BDU.
That ifak placement is awesome
Hey Coch, thank you for your service and the great content. Which plate carrier lets me wear all my gadgets and trinkets at the same time? I bought all this shit, now I want to wear it all at the same time just to be sure. Love your channel.
like your channel just found you.Very nice info.
Could you do a How a Navy Seal setsup their AR's etc like HK416's and things like that?
Thanks again Coch.
I like that WMD joke! Great talk about the kit
I carried 6 mags in Iraq in 05', we all did. I never realized the standard changed. I have 6 on mine currently, but I'd only use my carrier here in the states defending my little town in case of civil war.
7 technically. 1 in the mag, 6 on you. that was the standard across the board and still is. for us tankers we had 7 Mags for M4, 3 mags for 9 mil.
we still have 6 in israel too + 1 in the rifle
This guy is cool. He is actually making think there is a bunch of stolen valor on TH-cam after listening to someone like this guy
Thank you for your service SIR..Thanks for your vid..
thank you for your service by the way 🇺🇸

Good advice!
Woww, I subscribed to your channel since I was looking for information about the plates and I was amazed by the fact that your nick name is identical to my last name Regards from Argentina!
Outstanding video, subscribed! 👍
Awesome, thank you!
I still like Old School set up
Great advice 👍
Glad it was helpful!
Trauma kit behind the plate is genius.
Respeito admiro muito seu trabalho cara sempre aprendo muito , sou um grande fan🇧🇷 e da sua unidade também 👍🔱🤌⚡⚡🔱🔱👏👏👏🫡🫡🫡🔱
Pro tip: if you carry two knives all the Iraqi army and police dudes will constantly try to bum one off you lol
I'll keep that one in my back pocket for episode three.
Is there anything that they wont try to bum off of you?
Lol, I carried a kabar but had my old m9 on my pack. I traded a lot of crap to keep that stupid m9. Probably should have left it, that things added some weight.
It's just awesome, I actually pay attention.
On the big pack, was that a desert tarp or woobie? Hard to tell. Thank for your service.
Good job MarK
Finally, a down to earth channel/good info.. Thanks!
Should put the list of the new gear on a list. Thanks
Thanks for the Video,Sir.
As a Watch-enthusiast i would like to know what you are wearing there.
Interesting Piece.
Have a good one.
"man dress" lol, love it
I liked to put four triple magazine placards on top of eachother, and have every pouch issued to me on my vest.
And don't forget salsa nights, and the USO shows that ONLY went to the big fobs.
ounces make pounds, and pounds make pain. good BLUF review.
Great information what about a grid down situation, what type of setup do you suggest especially in the city where you need to move around to gather supplies.
Something that actually teaches u something nu...1st aid kit under ur plate, smarts
That was common practice for army as far back as 03-04 when I went in
Now this aid kit is pretty interesting idea but I like the one we have one is molley to the side of the plait carrier it can deploy for both sides
GHOST I hate that ifak so much, if it remotely snags on anything, all your shit gets yard sale all over the place. Our medics started having us take the Israeli dressing out and start carrying ace wrap because it’s more universal and frankly Israeli dressings aren’t built the best. Anyway that beefy role of ace wrap just put that POS ifak on the bleeding edge of being able to contain it’s contents
The place of the first aid kit differs from unit to unit. That "back of the plate" position may be only good for spec ops since they would have multiple people to help each other all the time. If you only have yourself or inexperienced friends for company, having an ifak in your backpack or in front of the vest would be a better idea.
Mark, good infor for civilians like me, getting everything dialed in for worse case red dawn, between now and Nov 3rd. Prayerfully we will not need to engage any threats. thank you
