      If your doing 50 push-ups you are going too fast lol...try holding at the bottom for 5 seconds then back up for a good pump.

    Never touched weights in my life, I have been doing strictly bodyweight exercises and I have never thought of such pushup variation. Respect to this man.
    Edit: it can be used as a preliminary step towards getting to tucked planche pushups on parallel bars in calisthenics.

      @@MohammedAli-jt7zr Yes actually I have noticed the difference now. I do not add them to every single chest workout, but every 3rd workout now I will substitute these in for a different exercise. Consistency is always Key.

      It would probably be hard to get into his schedule. Plus, the rates aren't cheap. I love his videos, but this dude is a world class trainer. After helping Busta Rhymes lose weight his demand is probably higher.

      @@Wowwow-tq7lu yeah I do different variations. Close grip, wide, diamond, (also dips and pullups). I usually do them all emom. I started with 10 sets of 10 on the minute. Now I'm up to 30 sets of 20s emom.

    Although there are different variations for a pushup, the best way and right way is to keep the back flat while keeping ht hips level with the shoulders, keeping the knees bent as well, and when you move to do a pushup, move slightly forward and down in an arcing motion and then return to the original position. always press from the palm and the tips of the fingers and imagine you are trying to press through the floor when performing the pushups. make sure to keep the knees slightly bent and also the hips/glute area higher. you will get a great pump out of this.

    We done these non stop in the unit I was in, they called them airborne push-ups cause we would keep our feet and knees together. You really want a challenge while doing these, use dumbbells under your hands to elevate and bring you sternum closer into the knees.

    Try these with your legs on an incline and some parallel bars for your hands. Do deep push ups. Works amazing.

    As an old guy ( 68) I left the gym for other style training....pushups are a staple...120 a day 4 days a week to prevent elbow overuse!! Slow controlled concentric and eccentric increases time under tension and appears to have less jar on the joints ! I get more out of pushups this way then when I benched heavy during my powerlifting and throwing days....benching doesn't seem to have the carryover to other endeavours..sports..life that slow grinding pushup variations...iso holds etc.....do

    That just puts you into an incline position meaning you will work more the upper peck area & shoulders. A decline position is what works the most chest muscle with a single movement, which is way dips are so good.
