Hi Charles. When you mention 'blood work', which specific tests are yoh referring to? Medical tests would normally refer to Cholesterol, blood sugar levels, liver and blood hemoglobin. Are you referring to these or something different? Thank you for the great channel 👏🏽
Yes, he is old school, and whatever worked for him in the past still works today. There is no exercise that is bad for you unless you are doing it wrong and using too much weight. He still advocates 'high risk exercises' but no one got injured by doing them.
@Peter Brandtman Peter your lazy.. laziness causes injuries if you do the exercise properly and keep you body in the correct posture for an exercise you won't get injured!

Body recomposition (losing fat while gaining muscle) is definitely possible because I’m doing it. I’ve lost 50+ lbs in 7 months while increasing all my lifts. It just requires a super dialed in diet and not overtraining since recovery is impaired by being in a caloric deficit.
He’s right about getting blood work done. I’m O Positive, and when I eat a lot of high quality fats, low carb vegetables and zero starch, my blood work is amazing and I feel great.
Makes a lot of sense! Everyone thinks of carbs as the enemy! It’s not! Carbs is an essential macronutrient. It actually helps before my workout. I wouldn’t be able to get through it without it to be honest.
@@MRitterH Will do thank you! But let me tell you this! Isn’t the definition of a nutrient a substance that provides nourishment essential for growth and maintenance of life. Thus carbs is a major nutrient that gives energy, like you mentioned earlier 🤔? Just sayin:)
