    Hello there, this review is so organized and thorough. Thanks so much! Do you have a moment to answer a couple questions? Are there any other Fuji cameras that has a selfie LCD screen? I’m not finding this info anywhere! I like selfie mode to be included in my family photos. Also, Is this camera able to use interchangeable lenses? I want to try more lenses from Fuji, as well as vintage lenses from other brands. I sincerely appreciate your guidance and any advice! Thank you so much.

    hii i am going to buy this or x-t20. Which one do you suggest more? and which prime lens do you suggest(3.rd party one s is much cheaper i guess)

    • @DustinAbbottTWI
      @DustinAbbottTWI  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hmmm, I would probably say the X-T20 off the top of my head. As for a prime lens, you would have to be more specific as to what kind of focal length you are interested in. A prime lens could cover anywhere between a 12mm lens and a 200mm lens.

    Great review! My impression is that the high-ISO performance of this sensor (as with Fuji's sensors in general) is superior to almost any APS-C sensor available from other brands. I'm particularly impressed by the fact there is almost no color/chroma noise visible at ISO 12800 (thus the "film grain" quality). What do you think?

  • @just_eirik

    Do you only use DR200? Would you recommend not using DR400?
    Also, what you you think of this sensor vs an x-trans sensor? I’ve been shooting with an x-t2 for a long time now and I recently got a x-t100. And I was amazed that the images look better. I know Lightroom has some problems with x-trans files, but I still feel like “why don’t they just use this sensor (x-t100) in their top of the lined cameras?”. Am I alone in that?
    It’s like, they have sensors that have some (small, but still) problems and they have sensors with no problems. Why do they switch to the better sensors? Is it just cause the x-trans sensors sell?
    OR is there something about the x-trans sensors that I have not realized yet? Something they do that makes them worth putting up with?

    • @DustinAbbottTWI
      @DustinAbbottTWI  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't have all the answers on X-trans, but this sensor definitely works well. AS for DR400 - there's always some tradeoff in that you will get more noise in the image at ISO 800 relative to ISO 400.

There you can set the two function buttons on the back of the camera below the mode dial, two custom buttons from the touch screen, and the left hand dial on the top of the camera. @@moenlighted7681 I've seen his videos but I feel that Dustin comes up with a more detailed analysis, with sample shots and sensor tests, etc.

      Hi Brahad, I do plan to review the a6100, but I probably won't be able to fit it in 2020. My review schedule is already full.

      @@DustinAbbottTWI Not a problem! Anyway I was planning to get one next year, time isn't a constraint. Glad to know that you have plans about a review on it.😄

    On the so called "Black Friday" it is $550 with this 15-45 in my country. Tempting :)

    Straight out of camera I think the ISO 12800 limit is good for this camera, but with modern post process NR filters one could benefit from 25600 option for "emergency use".

    • @DustinAbbottTWI
      @DustinAbbottTWI  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Fair enough. An expanded range.

      @@DustinAbbottTWI Yes, though it's hard to tell exactly without seeing the output from that 25600 😅. Maybe it just is beyond the actually usable range for this sensor.

    Please review R6 vs some of the new oponents...heard from few people that R6 has the same dynamic range as a7iii...on paper R6 is 0.4 behind,which is nothing,but heard that in reality is the same as the Sony!It will be very interesting !

    A very strange review - you´re talking about a low priced budget camera, but you are all the time comparing it to high-end cameras. I don´t understand that at all. Your review tells us what the XT200 is missing much more than talking about what it does have and how to use that.

    • @DustinAbbottTWI
      @DustinAbbottTWI  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm not sure I agree with your assessment, but this is a comparison industry. For some being aware of what is and what isn't there might help them choose between models.

      Hi John, that wasn't my intent, and from the comments on this video, I'm not quite sure that is what happened here.
