That is an old Continental 757 you were flying on. I've worked on the 757 for 23 years here in MCO. We installed the seats and entertainment system here. Thank you for flying on United!
You're welcome! United is my preferred carrier in the US. I have to say the seats have aged quite well. Their still very comfortable and and one of the best seats on a narrow body. I'd totally fly the 757 up front again! Thanks for checking out the video!
Thank you! It's good to hear that you thought it was edited well. That's one of the things I've been trying to get better at so its good to hear its paying off!
How was the food?? Was it menu based or what? What were the options?? Also sundae service or not?? I'm flying on this IAD to SEA in February on 757-200 so I wanna know what to expect for food and stuff!! Also would I get polaris lounge access or any lounge/united club access in IAD since this is technically a polaris flight but its domestic? Any help or info would be much appreciated!
I believe for a domestic flight United markets these seats as “United First” rather than Polaris and United does not offer lounge access for domestic flights even to those with United First tickets
Yes, thejman is correct about the lounge access. I was trying to access the lounge with my credit card but as you saw, it was closed. As for the food, it really was tasty! Once we hit cruising altitude, the flight attendants came around and gave you two options for breakfast, unfortunately I don't remember what the other choice was. This flight took place one of the first days after the mask mandate for flights was dropped so the meal service was still the COVID version of things. I've heard all is back to normal now in terms of the food service so things might be handled differently on your flight. I'd be curious to hear how it goes for you. I'm traveling later this month as well in "United First" so it will be interesting to see what's changed. Thanks for checking out the video and have a great flight!
This is not even a Polaris equipped plane 😂. The only Polaris service in the domestic market is SFO-EWR or LAX-EWR. You may see Polaris equipped planes fly on other hub to hub routes sometimes but they are marketed as First and not Polaris Business seats.
@@thejman071 Unless you're on the transcons between EWR and SFO/LAX. In general no US carrier offers lounge access on a F or J ticket unless is between NYC and SFO other than Alaska.
Honestly, on a daytime flight of this length that didn't really bother me. The 757 is one of my favorite airliners so to fly on it in a premium cabin, well worth it for me.

Great Report!
Thank you, I'm glad you like it!
Great clip! Man, Colorado needs some rain!
Thanks! Agreed! It was pretty brown on the approach into Denver.
miss these flights - getting a lie flat on a domestic is the best
It absolutely is! It’s always a treat
Very, very good trip report. Nice editing, not too much or too little. Great transitions and information. Well done sir 👏🏽

11:03 dude is lookin kinda fine in the IFE screen reflection 😳🫣🤤
Thank you! I Always try to look my best on travel days, especially when shooting a video!
I love her
Me too! She's a classic!
4:22 737 Max?
Yep
That long walkway from the train to the terminal is brutal
It’s always faster and easier to hop on the moon buggie instead of the train.
Are those the golf cart escort things?

Ugh not a private seat . I put an extra 2 hours on my connection to avoid it .

Can’t be considered Polaris due to route. It’s just United business/first
This is true. While the soft product isn’t Polaris on this route, the hard product is the older style Polaris seats
This isn't polaris....
It's the full on older Polaris seats, but unfortunately only United First level of service.
