You two are incredible, you are truly warriors and wise people! It's my honor to know you! I feel like no matter how much I praise you both, I can’t praise you both enough! Thank you for sharing the entire shipping process, it was wonderful! I wish you both the best on your extraordinary journey ahead! 👍😍🙌
Possibly my favorite video of yours ever (and that's saying a lot - because I adore most of them!). What a great story, from beginning to end. You're so entertaining and informative at the same time. Cheers to the next leg of the adventure!
Panama City is a gorgeous city, between the stunning modern part with skyscrappers and amazing hotels and the historical city center and the Canal, it really deserved a real, good, video.
Brilliant video! Informative and entertaining. Been following along since your adventures here in Shanghai and can’t wait to see all your future adventures ❤
Woo hoo - Great video and pleased to see that Vinny and your belongings made it . Your right you can always get more money !!! Looking forward to seeing South America - Big Love from us xx
18 months already! wowwwwww... welcome to South america!!! you will lovvvvveeee it!!!!!! did you go anywhere else in Panama (more videos coming?) or was it straight to shipping vinnie?
Thanks a lot! Yes 18 months already, time flies haha. We had some things planned in Panama, but had to cancel those because of the weather and all the shipping stuff taking up so much time. We had a quick stop in Boquete, but didn't film there.
Wow, what an ordeal! A lot of it reminds me of what it was like to ship a car from Puerto Rico to Florida, suuuuuper painful with loads of inspections, fees, paperwork, and official stamps from multiple agencies, all in español, not to mention ridiculously expensive, but I think your angst was 10x worse. Congrats for getting her done!
Amazing content. I have a question though. How did you do the animation of the Panama Canal where you illustrate the water levels moving from one level to the next?
Well done guys! You captured our experience perfectly!! I’ve shared it with our other shipping buddies and also to my Facebook page so my family can see what our experience was like. Great job!
Such an adventure! And delightfully well chronicled at that. I was so afraid you’d leave us with a cliffhanger and we’d have to wait until next time to see how all three of you fared. No spoiler here other than to say this episode tells a pretty complete story.
LOVED this video!!! And I have greatly missed your videos while you were consumed with making your travel arrangements! Safe travels thru South America. I can hardly wait to see this leg of your journey!!! love from Canada
You are lucky that the van wasn’t broken into while shipping because another couple driving to South America ‘Snow and Curt’ had their van damaged from a potential break in.
I have enjoyed your journey. I think your creativity has kept me interested because your story telling(editing) has gotten better. Just as an incentive, my brother and sister in law just got back from a cruise to Antarctica. They loved it. They only have Australia as their last continent to visit on earth. Thank you for your content and entertainment.
Thank you so much Patrick. We've been putting a lot more time in editing (well by we, I mean Kim, I've just been giving critiques hahaha) and we're glad to hear people like it.
We're very happy with our starlink. Not sure if there's much to be said what hasn't been said by other channels before. People with a lot more knowledge than us have made some really in-depth reviews about it. One big tip though: don't let your cable stick out the door when driving 🤣
I'm in Dili trying to ship my motorbike back to Australia. I was told it would cost US$1300. That was without fees n charges. It is now 2900 and the bike's only worth around 2000. I could have flown her home from Nepal for around 3000 and it cost me 1600 to fly her to KL. I am not too upset though, I had an amazing ride across Indonesia. lol. PLEASE be careful in Colombia, it is not the same as it was before Covid
You're 100% right! There is always money to be made, this adventure is worth it! Don't let it stop you!! You're not thinking as typical Belgians LOL. After 30 years of living in the USA I do not think like that anymore either. I have a different mentality about money and I personally think it's healthier. Go Kim and Naick! Great video!
Must say my favourite videos you guys produce. Look forward to seeing them . If you guys do end up coming to Australia We live in the east coast in Queensland on the coast . Come and stay with us
It was a bit of a pain yes haha. Especially since we had 3 large bags because there were a lot of things not allowed on the ship. But we stayed in the same hotel in Panama, so we didn't have to lug it around meanwhile.
Wat een twee krakken dat jullie zijn . Hoe jullie dat allemaal doen en kunnen, dat begrijp ik niet. Geniet er maar van en wees voorzichtig. Kijk al uit naar jullie volgende video. Groetjes, Gilberte
I'd never heard of this expensive detour! I don't have the patience to go through all of this, especially when you didn't know if it was even going to work out (especially the battery transfer). I can't believe you really go it all done.but that price is ridiculous! I see why you are going ahead and doing it, but it's outrageous.
Yeah it is outrageous. But it's all paid and forgotten now (partially thanks to the bottle of rum). It was quite the adventure, but we are suuuuuuper happy to be in South America now.
@@NaickKim😂Yes, rum would definitely help! I've been to Colombia, but not for years. I can't wait to see the trip down South America and the differences between all the cultures!
Only 7 expeditions have ever made it across the Darien Gap in a vehicle. On average it took them months to get through that 100 km stretch, chopping down jungle along the way... That's not driving, it's gardening :D
I hope you now call your battery Boris😂
WELL WE ARE NOW. You're a genius 😂
@@NaickKim yay!!!!

@@NaickKim It is my pleasure, thanks to you too! Happy travels and adventures! 👍🥰🙏
😂the reenactment of the shipping process was a hilarious. Great way to story tell that part of the trip! Keep up the great editing!!
What a serious adventure. I can't imagine ever waiting 11 hours for a permit. I would have just given up. Cheers, guys!
Haha giving up is not an option. We stop when we're done, not when we're tired :D (well sometimes haha)
This deserves more views! Guy (from Taiwan)
Thanks a lot Guy! Xie xie 😃

Wow guys! A serious adventure… even considering all the incredible adventures you’ve had…. Holy moly!
It was quite the experience haha. We are super happy to be in South America now and looking forward to some crazy adventures here.
Way to go you guys. . . Safe travels

You are lucky that the van wasn’t broken into while shipping because another couple driving to South America ‘Snow and Curt’ had their van damaged from a potential break in.
Yeah it happens quite a bit, although not as frequently on this route as on some other routes (Montevideo is very notorious for example).
