Right. These signature guitars are simply out of control. Don’t make and find your own voice in your own way-- it’s likely the last thing Strummer would preach.

Sounds great! I was worried that guy playing the guitar was going to scratch it!
Hell I temember seeing the first one in 2007 when I was working at a music store, an Authorized Fender dealer, got an Yngwie in at same tone...the thing was so cool and it felt good in my hands... you can find one of those used on Reverb for a good price... I doubt any wear and tear will make much of a difference

And none of them nearly as expensive as this!

Which Keith guitar should they do? What’s the quintessential Keith Fender? Would it be that old black guard he has, with the humbucker neck pickup?

There would have been a Keith Richards signature model in 1988 when the Clapton and Malmsteen Strats first came out if Keith Richards had been willing. Apparently, Keith hasn’t changed his mind yet. Over at the Gibson camp the same is true for Neil Young.

Much as I like the look of a relic guitar, seeing all that rust would bug the hell out of me. Let alone I’d wanna have my own guitar and relic it through playing it for years. How about a strummer tele without the relic?!

@@ICY95They could do like they did with the CME double painted teles, sunburst under the primer and black, you can wear it down yourself and get the look yourself

Hello, I'm here for my free Limited Edition Master Built Joe Strummer Telecaster.
What about the amp he is playing thru and the fx? Is it a fender amp? I hear some reverb? Delay? chorus? Lots of compression.
How much & where do I buy it?
Is that Joe Landridge-Brown of Nothing But Thieves in the playing segments???
I miss a little bit that transparency of the bridge pickup, which almost hurts? ;-)
