i just got a new iphone 11 and i was transferring my data from my old iphone and something has gone wrong as all of my apps are waiting to download and when i press on them they say that they are unable to install. when i try to log in or turn off my location to erase my phone it says verifications failed as there was a error connecting to the apple id server.
My iPhone 11 was having issues with actually resetting, it was taking 2 days on resetting and was stuck on the progress bar. Am I doing something wrong?

What is the difference between ‘reset’ and ‘erase…..’?
reset will turn your phone off and reset it, erase will delete everything i think (I THINK, IM NOT SURE THO, PLEASE DO RESESRCH BEFORE TAKING MY WORD!)

We’re happy to provide some information. You’d be able to erase your iPhone by restoring it using a computer, but your iPhone would be Activation Locked and you’d need the Apple ID and password to set it up again. You can read about Activation Lock here: s.apple.com/dE0i2U2M1K

Here are the steps in a short summary.
1. Make a backup if you have not already in your settings
2. Sign out of your apple account in settings at the top
3. Search reset and do Erase all content and settings
4. Either manually set up everything by putting in your wifi password etc... or by having another device come close to you such as your other phone/ipad. And scan a unique image
5. Now just do the rest of the steps that your device tells you to complete the reset and restore your device back your last successful backup.
6. Now your device should be back to the way that it was originally!

Erasing the device does not change the software version that is installed, and will not remove activation lock. It will, however, remove the passcode lock if one was created. This will be the passcode used to unlock the device. There would not be a way to downgrade the software installed on your iPhone. Yesterday night i mistakenly entered wrong passcode and it showed one minute to enter it again. So i turned off the screen and suddenly it started to restart, i thought it was the ios 15 which is upgrading but then it got factory reset automatically without unlocking, also without asking for the icloud passcode and my bad i didn’t have a backup also. All of my contacts, photos, apps passwords are gone now.
Any solutions apple?

I can no longer do a restore for my iPod touch on my iMac after updating to Monterey 12.4. I get the following message… There was a problem downloading the software for the iPod.
