Great Videos! Keep them coming. Americans need to understand that the meal on their table is there as a result of efforts from people who are not used to punching a time-clock, Thank You.
Oh awesome! We went to the fair on Monday for woodsman’s day. I was going to try and see how many venders had our fries. But it was so busy. We delivered a tractor tailor and a box trucks worth of potatoes to the fair! Lots of Bell potatoes 🥔
First time watcher. Amazing team effort at farm packaging area and home with beehives and love the hen house!! Shane and Molly stay strong and motivated. ❤😅
Been driving by your fields all of my life on both sides of the river and around durham. Your corn is excellent and what a good family, good luck to folks, Paul J Lisbon Falls.
Huge thanks to ALL farmers and farming families, who work hard 365 days a year.....so we can go to the grocery store and easily buy what we need! Cheers !
I did a little farming as a hobby for a couple of years, no joke. Kudos to your family for doing it on such a large scale. I never waste food once you know how difficult is to harvest
First time viewer, great job. I have people look at me like I'm grazey when I keep all the rocks I dig up with my backhoe, but they change their mind when they go and buy one.
Great video. It was always thought that men were farmers and ya they are. But to see a beautiful girl out in the fields driving that big equipment around love it.❤
Derek aka(@averageshot) and Shane are great long range shooters. When we slow down a little after potato harvest hopefully they will be back at making their 1 mile range.
Thank you for your videos. We live in Iowa and are familiar with how corn and beans are grown, harvested, processed. Even though some folks think we grow potatoes in Iowa, we really don't. haha. Videos like this are fascinating. Most folks have no idea how potatoes make it to the grocery store shelf. I know I didnt. Pretty cool process and a ton or hard work. Good luck with the 2024 season.
Thank you for sharing. Your a very hard working young lady. Way to go. Its says this video was a month ago? Did I miss it back then? Iam sorry if I did? But still thank you. Miss Molly. You have Honey Bees and Chickens too? Your have over looked those videos too?😢. I surely don't mean to do that! Hope you and your Family all had a safe and wonderful Thanksgiving? Happy Thanksgiving to you and Bell Farm.
You’re on hellova girl ‼️ You remind me of our daughter in law ‼️ She was hunting while pregnant with her 3rd when we visited just after thanksgiving a couple years ago. She came in for dinner while we visited then went back out after we left and got an 8 point buck near her stepfather house. ‼️. She’s also the CFO of Clark Feeds, her stepfather’s feed mill.
Thank you for sharing..I understand you are in Maine..may I ask where? I lived in Caribou while in the service..it was potato farming country. Happy that I found your site...love the hard working folks there...see you and hubby next visit.
I probably already know the answer, but what does the log do? Level out the ground behind the disk? Your dirt looks like it is sandier than what we have here in Iowa....except for maybe out in NW Iowa- there's a lot of rock in the soil- all leftovers from glaciers- everything from pea gravel up to semi truck sized boulders, lol. Used to help pick up rocks at friends & relatives farms every spring before planting. Was a fun time until we came upon one that needed a skid loader or end loader to dig it out.
Hey there, happy thanksgiving! Yes the log is used to level the dirt and make a smooth seed bed/ or in this case get ground ready for potato hills. It seems like most of the land along the river is pretty sandy here. We do have some girls that have a lot of clay too.
We will show all that stuff come planting season, going to have to stay tuned .Potatoes are tricky since they grow underground you can’t just throw anything in there or you’ll end up with scab and a bunch of culls. Generally we will add Lime/ liquid fertilizer at planting, then supplement with a dry fertilizer mix later in the growing season.
When I was in the Army and stationed in Germany, the farmers there would sometimes find in their fields unexploded ordinance from wars that ravaged the region. This included 500 pound bombs dropped by aircraft. So, farming there is a challenge.
Are you selling Bell's Farming Tank shirts yet? Maroon is a great color for you!! Molly, how many total acres do you farm as a company? Are they all located nearby or are you farming one piece of farmland. Sometimes famers will lease space from others when and if they need more land....
I’m working on some apparel that will be for sale . We farm around 500 acres, our fields are mainly along the river, but on both sides of it so it’s a 7 mile drive from 1 field to the other side of river. We own almost all the land we farm, we do rent a few fields though. Thanks for watching!
Yes I said the same thing. We do have a few we use. Each log drags a little differently. Honestly it has been easier learning with the same log. But I have been trying to think of an easier way to move them. Like maybe a wench so we don’t need the skid steer.
@@BellsFarming is it okej if I love y😍ou on distance? The chance we goin to Meet is slim! Well, could you release the sice of yore assets to me? For my eyes only...

There's definitely a difference between women that farm, and women that farm with such a confidence and matter of fact ability. I like your style.

Seems like the log works way better than a land plane. And gets it all done in one pass.
Hard and dangerous work. Please be careful out there pretty lady.
Thank you for watching!
Oh the pleasure is mine!@@BellsFarming
I guess the log is used to level the potato fields? So do you have a rotation for crops? Moving that giant potato took a bit of effort.
Yes the log levels the ground. Our rotation is sweet corn.
I would like to see a video on how you supplement the soil? What do you add to it - organic matter?
