Taking advantage of a nice day in the field to make some fall decor for the farm store. Retrieving the deterrent cannon, and checking out the potato storage prep.
Thank GOD for all the farmers & veterans out there. If it were not for you folks our country would be in bad shape. So I thank GOD for all you farmers & veterans for all you do !!!!!!!!
I've been watching farmers grow and harvest corn but now I'm learning about growing potatoes! Very labor intensive as all farming are! Very Interesting!
Molly, your husband is one lucky guy. Not only are you a gorgeous looking woman, but you are an asset to the family farming business as well. I guess all that physical work and healthy fresh air can only help to keep you looking fit and healthy.
I live now in lincoln but I grew up in corinna where our neighbors were Roland Bucks potatoe farm and Rodger Whitney's potatoe farm. Thr crain brothers potato farm farms all the land there now raising potato and corn. They also farm a bunch of land in my area of lincoln Maine
Ironic Molly that the amount of ears you tossed while gathering corn stalks is equal or more than my yearly harvest from my garden. Currently binging past episodes and really appreciate you showing all the facets of your operation. Love the JD 4000. I have an 8N from my grandpa.
It seems wasteful I know! In the big picture sometimes the timing of our blocks and the purchase orders don’t always match up unfortunately, this corn was stuff that went by, got to big. I suppose I have gotten desensitized from seeing acres unpicked! Sorry! Thank you so much for watching our videos. I just started the channel this year, so I am really excited to show planting and sweet corn season! The quality of the videos will be much better too! Thank you!!
Oh yeah, and that4000 was Shane’s grandfathers too. One owner! We painted the tractor a few years ago to give her a little face lift! We use that tractor a lot on the farm! Where I first learned how to drive.
Molly it's great entertainment to see how you and your family farm over there. Lovely to share your everyday lives with people from other countries. Keep up the good work. From your spud loving friends in North Wales U. K. Xxx
Good stuff!! Thank you Molly for sharing your journey (life) !!! You sure do stay busy! You are definitely a very hard worker!!! I am binge watching your videos!!! Love them !! Please be careful and God bless you all!!!! Eddy
Yes, I have heard of the white corn. We had a very nice couple from Africa ask us about it! This is sweet corn for people consumption, but I’m using the stuff that has gone by for corn stalks :)
Yeah, neither did I until I started working on the farm. Birds and really do a number in sweet for and other crops. This cannon also scared deer. It’s nice to have a solution that doesn’t harm the animals.
From Australia. You certainly are a hard worker, our Ford Sterling trucks are manual 18 speed crash gear boxes though, nothing as easy as an automatic. Are you sure you have enough twine??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@BellsFarming So who are your main customers? Retail chains, mom and pop stores, and independents. Do you package private label brands for these stores? I lived in NY for 53 years so your videos bring the memories of winter, which I miss....
@@patrickwhelan5703 we pack potatoes for market basket, occasionally we will pack for hannaford grocery stores. We will ship bill loads to be packed by other packing facilities too. Hey thanks for the suggestions! I am going to check them out today. I’m new to TH-cam and need to build the channels that I subscribe to also. Great suggestions! Thank you.
@@Dave-ll6ei haha that tank is regular diesel, I’m not sure why that guys said that. We use regular diesel in our tractors and record the gallons we use off road :)
@@BellsFarming yes I know. I have 2 tanks on my farm, one is off road and the other is for my diesel truck. He probably thought that since it came from a tank on your farm it must be off road.

Everybody hates me to tell you hi over here in North Carolina
Hello!!👋
What you call corn we call maize, or mealies in South Africa. If I'm not mistaken, white maize is for humans and yellow for animal feed.

😲😲😲 you said "WTF" 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahaha yep!
From Australia. You certainly are a hard worker, our Ford Sterling trucks are manual 18 speed crash gear boxes though, nothing as easy as an automatic. Are you sure you have enough twine??? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hey thanks for watching! That automatic sucks hahah I drive a manual for corn season. Next year I’ll pass the automatic onto the next new driver!
Good to see you again, Molly. Noise comparison between the cannon and a hunting rifle?
Cannon much louder. A deep boom instead of a sharp snap.
Have you ever done a video of the store and what you sell?
Not yet! I was planning on doing one when our sweet corn season starts
You know what else is heavy?.....
What is that?

So does the canon just make noise, and is it motion sensor activated? Thanks for letting us hangout. Be safe.
Hey there, yes the can on just makes noise. It’s set on a timer :)
Where can us fans buy that bandana?
I usually will by them from random small independent businesses online .
Hai sister..
Where is the red equipment?
We have one red tractor hahah
“… WTF!” lol … language young lady!
Oops haha
You could have a good hoe down in that storage barn.
What is the blue Cannon for ?
It is to scar birds, and deer. It will sound on a timer. Helps keep them from eating to many crops
