Currently have 1 cargo van. And 1 16’ box van. Both Chevy express. Looking to put them to work. Doing all the research I can. Definitely will be checking in on your content
Hey McQueen thumbs up for keeping it real. I have a cargo van and live in a smallish west Michigan city of roughly 55K people. The only thing available here are amzn flex, spark & roadie (I don't do the food or shopping stuff). Mostly I do roadie and rarely clear more than 100 bucks a day. After fuel, vehicle maintenance, paying back my retirement account for the loan, taxes etc. I'm clearing about 5 bucks an hour! Before you buy a van KNOW that if you don't live in a LARGE city you are going to be scrambling just to make crumbs! I'm still over 6K in the hole so be forewarned! Now if you live in a BIG city that opens a lot of possibilities but you'll still have to scramble to make a good living. I have friends (Gaming Buddies) around the country making good livings doing gig apps but they are in big cities and work a lot. Know what you are getting into!
Yea man no problem, I don’t like when the ‘gurus’ try to tell everyone they can make $10,000 a month! That’s not realistic for everyone, but thanks for watching, I wish the best for you!
Im interested in this as well I’m currently looking for a cargo van but I also have a full time job. I would like to use it as a side hustle and hopefully after I learn the game I can employ someone else
That’s a what’s up man, congrats, sounds like a good deal. I would say go over to mark the mentor on TH-cam, he has 10+ years of experience with box trucks, I’m just getting started, but that’s where I go for the best information on TH-cam
Is at a high roof sprinter van? There are always dedicated routes for newer extended length high roof sprinter vans. My plan is to use my cargo van for ontrac
I'm interested in seeing how you like ontrac. I'm waiting on a insurance quote. To see if it's going to be even worth trying. Trying to keep my expenses low as possible
@SuperDjtoomuch I will be documenting my journey once I get started, I think it’s one of the best opportunities available. You can schedule a virtual meeting with them if you go to their website.
The more I see these videos the more I cringe! been doing cargo van work since 2019 and the market is saturated! Too many people that don't know what they are doing are just jumping in. Most 3rd party logistics companies have drooped their [rices because driver are accepting anything!
Yea you’re right, I guess it’s just the low barrier of entry, since all you need is a cargo van. Things may be better for CDL drivers looking to start a trucking company, but even then one could say drivers are taking ‘cheap freight.’
I just brought a 2018 high roof nissan nv cargo van. This really helps. I'll start with some gig apps until I can land a contract.
Congrats on getting your cargo van, I’m glad this helped, I wish you the best in finding your contract!

Yea you can use that to get started, I know some companies require you to have a newer van, but you can get started with Ontrac or T Force for sure
