2 years ago i found this video. Had just came out of my depression and wanted to change. I remembered how i felt when i first watch this. My life turned, i started achieving A's and was happy with myself. Fast forward this year i have been falling of the rails again due to the stress of my classes and personal problems. Came back here for a quick reminder of why i started.
A lesson you all MUST NOT take lightly from this man was to never stop at your goals. I took it lightly and once i achieved straight a's i fell off track. Now i need to restart my whole journey again. If you are in a similar situation as me, dont worry to restart your progress for you are starting more experienced with a new mindset. You can do it.

-Trust life for there is already a greater plan for you
-Past failures and mistake do not mean future failures
- Take responsibility for everything in your life - the good and the bad. Take life into your own hands.
- Many people will want to be in your life once you are successful, but do not forget how they ignored you when they saw no value in you. Never forget that. It shows a lot about them and who they are

"Be uncomfortable with average" this is something every student must bear in mind.

It means do not settle for mediocrity. Always aim for the best at anything you do.
xysyteria I don’t recommend doing this because of burnout but I used to tell myself that average is failing and I’m a disgrace and I’m going to end up on the streets when I finish school until I really felt like a failure after every average grade (but don’t do this I’m only telling you this so you don’t end up doing it because it lead to misery and eventually worse grades)

2 years ago I watched this video, I was upgrading my grade 12 results , it was really not easy , I had to move to a different province, adapting to a new a place and studying at the same time was very hard, but I’m proud to say today I’m doing my 2nd year in Varsity, and this video is still carrying me.

Three years ago I was placed on academic dismissal with a 0.6 GPA. Every day over these past three years I’ve made multiple attempts to get into multiple colleges. My family thinks I’m obsessed and should find another way at this point. One of them I received a cease and desist letter from (again, the letter came last month) due to scaring one of the workers. Either I stop calling her or I get legal action.

@@georgewilson8932 Charles Darwin University is an online uni, they allow for people not in Australia to join. I think you in US. Try researching CDU or how to get into uni without a GPA

Last year I started Paramedic school. I’m now 2 months away from testing nationally. This year has been hell for me. I got evicted, been homeless, car broke down, grandmother passed, mom diagnosed with cancer. This video has got me through the year so far. Keep pushing.

Last year I fell off hard after a break up and basically lost all my will to do anything. This helped me study for 2 hours . We're gonna make it guys
i remember last year when i was doing my matric this video was the one to keep me going. im still here 2024 as a first year student because i feel like giving up, but i trust the process.🤲🙏
I'm a straight-A student and my best advice is to pretend to be interested in class. It sounds weird, but if you just look at the teacher when they are teaching and act engaged, you will soak up so much more info and actually become interested in the subjects being taught. Many students end up slouching over during class, looking unhappy, and in extreme cases falling asleep. If you simply look engaged, you will be over time. Happy learning and always remind yourself of your unlimited capabilities.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched this video through the semester. It’s been hard as hell. Junior year engineering kicked my butt. I’ve had so many external struggles this semester but I’ve never stopped trying. Effort and determination are everything. Thank you for making these videos because while they were a small part of getting me through this semester, they were still part of it. To the person who may be reading this: keep going. Never stop. The only failure in life is not trying at all.
Found that video at the beginning of my journey toward getting into med school in winter 2022. I‘ve watched that video hundreds of times and studied so so much. Ultimately, it was worth it. I got into med school and will start in 3 weeks!!👀You can do it everybody…whatever it may be! Failures are part of the journey. I failed the entry test myself last year but got up, studied even more, and in the end, finished with the 30th best result out of 2100 people.🙏Everything is possible if you really want to; discipline and consistency are everything!

"Everybody wants a future, but everybody wants to be average." hit HARD, I used to be head girl, straight A's, moved countries and had to juggle between a job, growing up, and a college schedule that made me feel mediocre, that made me feel average. I am uncomfortable, I am uncomfortable with what I am doing with my life and I have a goal in my mind that I want to reach. That I really want to reach. When I'm absent because I feel burnt out, when I stay home thinking this isn't for me, or maybe I should just drop out, I keep rewatching this. I need to hear it, again and again. Because when I come back and reply to this, it better be because I've achieved what I wanted to achieve, and more.

I'm watching this because of my study challenge and I'm promised i will return here got a good result in IELTS.
I could come up with ample of excuses for being ignorant and lazy when it comes to my studies after 2nd semester started for me in college this year, the hunger and the drive that I had for 12th grade was slowly starting to diminish but now I feel like I am realizing what I am lacking and that was patience and discipline more than anything. Thanks to this video, I feel inspired and rejuvenated, I WILL turn my mess into my message soon by becoming a better version of myself.

If this man was the principal of our schools and we all had a motivational session each day before classes I’d be more positive to start studying and I would’ve been even more motivated while the teacher lectures us instead of feeling bored and wanting to get out of the class..

I was an A+ student and at the top of my class but during pandemic my average dropped a lot which at that time I was a 6th grader but now I'm a 8th grader and my marks and average aren't that great, I've been studying all night yet my results are bad. i was about to give up until I watched this video and I said to myself " never give up no matter what they say". My parents say that I'm a dissapoiment , but I wanna say thank you to the person who owns the video you made me see myself and continue my goals thank you so much
Listening to this just uplifted my heart, cause i am a nursing student and i study day and night and sometimes pull all nighters causing me to lose sleep and miss important events and still fail all test, but i continue to study because i feel like thats all i could do. I cried through this, I was a high achiever before my senior year of high school and i feel like a washed up college student. This opened my eyes and brought me back. I was even thinking of dropping out.
I was a bad at all my axams and felt like to give up if it wasn't for my mother I wouldn't make it she motivated me and I have improved so much I passed all my axams with flying colors to become something in life you need to be humble just trust your self look deep down and you will make it
My grades where really low, was almost asked to leave the college if fail the next exam coming , I was really scared at that point how i would get my grades changed from F to A or my exam questions and answer. I felt it wasn’t possible but on a second thought I had no choice but to give a trial this name belowbdid the impossible never believed my college website could be hacked.

Same!! I dropped in my pre-nationals and everyone is asking me what happened and all. I cried but now I’m back stronger than ever. Yk those girls who become stronger after a heart break, I’m one of them except that the cause was of my grades. I’m motivated than ever to prove them in my nationals that’s starting on 31st October.
