King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery Guard. The King's Troop, Royal Horse Artillery, is a ceremonial unit of the British Army.

The Queen's Life Guard, mounted on immaculately groomed horses with swords drawn and breastplates shinning in the sun, can be seen at Horse Guards.
Horse Guards, named after the troops who have protected the Sovereign since the Restoration of King Charles II in 1660, is today the official entrance to Buckingham Palace and St James's Palace.

It's time to stop using professional soldiers as dress up mannequins to amuse tourists.
It's the tourists who are mannequins. The soldiers are doing their JOB. Difficult concept, I know....
@@Roheryn100 Their job isn't fancy dress in front of a billionaires house, it's training to defend the country against 21st century threats. The Falklands demonstrated that the Guards battalion were inadequately trained and prepared compared to the Paras and Marines deployed, because of continuous rotations for "ceremonial" duties. They should do what the Vatican does and have dedicated cosplay types or the US has a ceremonial "old guard" detachment that does nothing else.
@@montycasper4300 It's not " fancy dress" ( as you well know) and it is the residence of the country's Head of State, not "some billionaire's house". The Falklands were forty years ago and the Guards have been deployed most recently in Afghanistan and Iraq. You only have to see the active service medals worn at the Trooping to understand that.
@@Roheryn100 Can't speak for recent conflicts, but I was Kings 75-83 and the Guards Brigade were basically territorial army.
